I asked for no tomato's and only mayo on my chicken sandwich and they put everything on it. This ruined my whole meal.

When I placed my order and received my receipt, everything on the receipt was correct. I was waiting at the window for about 5 minutes when Juliet handed me three cups, none of which were the correct size I had ordered, and one of them wasn't even a drink I ordered. She stared at me through the window as I was clearly confused about why none of my drinks were correct. Finally, after a few minutes, she opened the window again, and when I told her my drinks were incorrect, she tried convincing me that she misheard what I had ordered, even though she rung it up on the receipt correctly. When I finally got the correct drink, it wasn't the right size either. She did this same thing to a car ahead of me as well. After 10 minutes of waiting at the window, I was finally handed my food, which was cold and soggy by this point, and I had a big line of cars behind me waiting. I just wanted my food, drink, and shakes, and instead received incorrect drinks, was gaslit about the order I had placed that was correct on the receipt, and got cold and soggy food. I'm not sure if it was just a stressful day at this restaurant and honest mistakes were being made, but this experience was pretty disappointing and upsetting. bringing texas to other states! this was the first time trying whataburger and it was an amazing experience for fast food. i had high expectations since patrick mahomies loves this place and it definitely met. i had the double whataburger with onion rings and fries and a chocolate shake to get the full experience. when i sat down i was greeted with a condiment man! he had a trey of condiments and let us choose what we wanted. of course i had to try the spicy ketchup, ketchup, and ranch. i thought that was a charming touch. the burger itself was high quality for a fast food place. it was a good size and everything paired well. the fries and onion rings had crunch to it. the shake was thick and creamy. everything i could ask for in a fast food chain. now time to expend to more states! only downside is it has a small parking lot and most of it is blocked by the insane drive through line so it wasnt designed to be busy. read more

I have been to whataburgers from here to Destin FL, and I would have to say this is the cleanest one I have ever been to!! It was obvious they were short staff and a little slow but I am not to complain. Even though other people were rude about the short staff the workers kept a smile on their face and were very nice!! Wish people would be more understanding! But overall food was amazing and staff were great!!!! read more

Obviously short staffed on a saturday afternoon, but everyone on the clock was very attentive to customers and working their tails off to make sure everyone had what they needed. We did have to wait a few minutes longer than expected for our food, but it was hot and tasted great. Many customers inside were rude towards the staff and rushed them along, so if you're entitled and selfish don't come here. But, if you're like me and have empathy towards others and want everyone to be happy, you'll love it. read more

The manager gave us a number to wait for sauce, like who's gonna wait for sauce tf!?!?! Bad service, my food was getting cold, while I was waiting for sauce, which I never got. Waited 30minutes for my food just to get cold fries and burgers. Employee's wandering around looking lost in the parking lot with their tablets. The place was not busy. Only about 4 cars in the lot. I don't typically leave reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had. 1hr wait to get to the front to place my order. Almost 5mins at the order screen for someone to even say hello and start to take my order. Another 25mins waiting to get my food. After an HR and half wait.. the fries were barely warm. I ordered the Whatabuger with cheese (single patty). Tasted like a burger you'd get from Sonic. Now I can say I tried the place. They may have better sandwiches, I don't know but won't be running back any time soon. I know the lines will go down and it will get more normal traffic. Horrible, the only reason for 1 is there is nothing lower. I waited 38 min for a whataburger with cheese. I watched other get thief meals. Too much staff just standing jaw jacking not doing there jobs. I had to go get them & that took abt 5 mins. She went back and got my 2 burgers. They were cold and I did not get any ketchup. The most overrated,overhyped burger joint. We waited inside to dine, it took 30 minutes for the order that wasn't correct, most people sitting inside had to take their order back for various reasons, even a delivery driver returned with an order. The food was terrible. The burgers were insanely salty. The bum was mushy and soggy. Fries were ok but sorts cold. And then to top of off, we were stuck in the drive thru lane for 15mins because of a shift change. But no one told us until it was too late to move out and/or leave. Thought I'd give it another try, unfortunately it was worse this time. There were literally 20-30 teenagers in the back just standing around chatting like they were in between classes at school. I stood at the counter for about 3 min while a couple of the teens walked by and gave me blank stares. No one greeted me and no one spoke a word to me until finally a manager noticed I was there and quickly chided a girl who was supposed to be attending the counter. She finally came out to take my order clearly upset that her very important conversation had been interrupted by a customer. I said, "Hi how's it going?" and instead of a response I was met with a blank stare, she clearly did not have time for small talk and continued to stare until I finally placed my order. I was one of only two customers in the building yet they still managed to serve me cold fries and a burger with rotten lettuce and tomatoes on it. Oh well now I know that my first visit was not just a bad day, no it seems that Whataburger in Lees Summit simply has ridiculously low standards for service and food quality. read more

Went when it wasn't very busy and they closed off the drive thru land behind us we were told they needed one minute before taking out order and we proceeded to wait 15 min to order while they were taking the other lane's order I recommended going in to order the drive thru is a waste of time. read more

Very disappointed. There has been so much hype that I was really looking forward to trying it. Arrived at 2pm. Five other customers in restaurant eating. Plenty of staff working. Floor was in desperate need of sweeping and moping. Tables were cleared but definitely not wiped off. Outside sidewalk and pavement also dirty with some trash and what appeared to be a big grease spill on the sidewalk. Plus you walk right by a Rat trap on the sidewalk. Hamburger was room temperature. Went here after a Chiefs game AT 10:30 and people WERE INSIDE with MULTIPLE tables open and they had the doors locked and wouldn't let more people done in even though dine in was open until midnight. Trash service to lock your doors forcing everyone through the drive through when your lobby is suppose to be open. Worker literally looked at us trying to get in an just shook her head. Foods good. Staff is horrible. Super sassy or rude. Nobody offers anything. No please or thank you. The waitress dropped off our food and after we said thank you (twice). Customer service is horrendous. Management was rude! Should have looked at other reviews before ordering here... waited over 30 minutes. When I asked if they would do anything about how long we waited she gave me a cash refund for my credit card purchase and I said it's fine I will pay for it, i just want my food at this point, she said she already made the cash refund (for my card purchase??) so she couldn't do anything... walked away and after 30+ min for a scheduled pick up order. This place is still a joke after all this time. From the management to the poorly trained staff who were trained by the poorly trained management. Takes forever to get an order, been there 4 times ... two times the fries were ice cold and three times the shake machine has been out of order. Of course you only find that out once you've set in the line for 15 minutes and that's the only thing that you really wanted. This is just an overrated version of sonic with all the hype because of Patrick Mahomes. But the one thing sonic has every time I go there is a chocolate shake. In 20 years I've never been told by sonic... Sorry we don't have chocolate shakes are machines down. Again starts with the management all the way down.
