When we realized it was about 25 min away and had to drive back-inhumane called and explained the situation, they went above and beyond and remade our entire order so it would be fresh and be ok for the drive back to the condo. Food was still warm and everything was good. I would highly recommend and I appreciate the way they took care of us. Third, the food was really good for a burger joint. Fourth, On Saturday, they had college football on the TVs inside the restaurant and the interior has some nostalgic items on the walls. When we pulled up to the drive-through window, the manager came to the window to tell us he did not have the mild chicken pieces we wanted. We could, however, wait if we chose. He also offered extra pieces if no wait. I had wanted a 3 piece, white meat, chicken dinner. Since there was no breast available, he gave me five wings. My husband was fine with the dark meat and also got one extra wing with his. Both dinners tasted very fresh, the sides were delicious, everything was put together nicely in the Popeye box I elaborate on this, because in the past, the service was slightly rude, the food was thrown everywhere, and you pretty much got what they gave you, no matter what. At 11: 20 I called delivery and she stated she was in line at drive through with 6 cars in front of her. Told her it's ok I was in no hurry. 11:30 received text that she was still at drive thru, still 6 cars in front of her. 11:40 received text 5 cars in front of her. 11:45 received text 4 cars. 11:50 3 cars in front of her: 11:55 1 car in front of her. 12:07 on the way. Food arrived 20 minutes after midnight which was 2,hours after placing order. Food was ice cold. Drink had absolutely no ice because it had melted and tasted terrible due to being watered down by ice melting. Opened box unwrapped a hard taco and it was stuck to wrapper. Opened another item same thing. Threw the whole order in the trash and went to bed. I'm absolutely sure Taco Bell was not at fault because I've eaten there for years. Door Dash never again.
