Whataburgers are always good. It's the service that really makes or breaks it. Luckily this location popped out the food in an efficient timely and professional manner. The wait was not half an hour (like some others I've experienced) it was 10-15 mins. And for whataburger since they make everything so fresh, that is lightening speed on 'whataburger' time. The first week of June I had the best cheeseburger from this location. Last Sunday I had the worst cheeseburger and the worst service ever. At 9 pm the drive through was backed up and not moving, but there weren't many people inside. I went inside. The servers were moving so slow. Even though I was third in line, it took forever to order. They lady next to me --well, seems they lost her order. Took forever to get my food, and it was only half the order. The gal said she'd get the shake and pie--came back with the pie. I asked about the shake. She went back, but then I saw her take an order outside. I went up to the counter and finally got the shake. The burger was lukewarm and bland, the cheese was not melted, oily, and tasteless, and the bun was partly stale and hard. I would have asked for another but I didn't want another saga, so I threw away half (I didn't even want to take it to my dogs). I swear management put all the worst, slowest, most inept workers on that one shift. I was tempted to ask for my money back, but I think they'd have been totally incapable of a refund. Well hello again I'm back I'm sitting here at Whataburger because my sister wanted a salad and of course I ordered a Whataburger with cheese light on the mayo no salt on the fries, and my sister ordered Whataburger with cheese mustard on the bottom mayo on the top but of course, as usual we didn't get what we asked for even though they say just like you like it and of course again, the meat was cold on both burgers I'm not understanding why Burger King patties are never hot when you get them. We had to take each burger back to get it done right and to ask them to please can we have the meat Patty hot I believe Whataburger should really check into this because it makes no sense that the meat is never hot when you get your hamburger. 3.5 stars for this Whataburger! Yes, I'm reviewing a Whataburger. I was stuck in Richmond for jury duty and I ended up at this Whataburger. There is plenty of parking. The people working here are super friendly. You order and they bring you your food... yup, they sure do. Not only do they bring you your food, but they walk around with a tray of condiments and napkins. The employees come around and offer to refill drinks, etc.. The level of service is definitely better here than most fast food places. I didn't give them a full 4 stars because I saw at least one fly on the counter where I was ordering and the bathrooms could use an update (purse hook anyone?). But, the next time I get jury duty and get stuck down in Richmond, I'll probably head over to Whataburger once again. The service rocks! read more

Whataburger is a fast food restaurant similiar to McDonalds. The service has always been great indoors with friendly servers and even refilling coffee on occasion. Today, I was going through the drive up which was a first. Then, I noticed it was noon, so the line was lengthly. I was able to place my order quickly due to a young lady walking up to my window with a tablet and taking my order. There are two lanes, A and B, and I was told to use lane B. Everyone seemed to come to a skeeching halt after I was in line. After a very large order was delivered to the first car in lane B, the line started moving slowly. I do feel sorry for the employees who run back and forth indoors to grab change and then run back in to grab an order. It would be nice if they could make change when when you pay after placing order. Similar to Crew Car Wash. Unfortunately, I'm sure this would be a high risk for robbery. I ordered the new grilled chicken sandwich which I enjoyed. It was very hot, tender and the sandwich was neatly put together. I'm not use to that with the sloppy sandwiches I've gotten from McDonalds and Burger King. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the new sauce they used but I need a second run for a final decision. The absolute worst service I've ever gotten at a Whataburger. I walked in with my wife and 3 year old son and the gentleman at the counter completely ignored us. My wife greeted him and he just stared at her then proceeded to walk to the back of the restaurant without saying a word.
