This Wataburger is one of the WORST out of ALL the locations that I've ever been in. First off, I waited nearly 30 minutes to received toast that was SO TOASTED that it was hard as a rock, my fries were cold, burnt and so crunchy, it was like eating rocks. Lastly, I didn't get my Jalapeño ranch for my chicken bites. Also didn't get my spicy ketchup nor any other sauces that I ordered. Would not recommend going if you're in the Round Rock area. It's best to drive the extra 5 minutes to the Wataburger closest to chase on 79. read more

I will not be going to this location again. Last time my order was wrong. I wanted a grilled cheese with extra add-ons and I received two pieces of toast with cold slices of cheese. Not grilled/melted. Cold. And no added on toppings but I was charged for them. The fries were old and cold. And when I called the manager was nice and said next time I came in tell them I spoke to Josh about my meal and they would fix it. Today I did just that and I was told they could not do anything about it with out a receipt. Josh did not tell me about my receipt he just said tell them you spoke the Josh and we will be able to fix it. I did that? But was turned away. I explained this to them and then actually spoke to the manager again. Why? Idk. It's kind of stupid to tell me one thing and I come back and then deny that. So I go and try this restaurant again. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I walk in to order and there are a bunch of folk about the register area. Only one register open, big surprise, but not actively taking orders. I wait while both manager types ignore the counter problem and only concentrate on the window. Finally get rung in and then wait some more. Question the manager about ignoring the lobby customer, she says the system went down, the same excuse they used last time. Offered the most unapologetic sounding apology ever and then avoided eye contact. This is the most convenient WB to me, but I may have to find another or not frequent this one as much. I called in my order at 9:14am, I went inside around 9:20. I waited 40 MINUTES before I asked where my order was and the guy working the front tells me "its being made right now". In other words, if I hadn't asked where my order was, I would have been waiting for AGES!! I ended up getting a refund and leaving. There were others that were unhappy with the long wait as well. This location is terrible. No Bones about it, one of the worst places to get food in Round Rock, which is sad as it sulleys the good name of Whataburger. Service is slow as all get out, to the point where it makes the drive thru worthless. If you have somewhere to be, don't take the drive thru. Thats a 14-15 minute wait for a #1 combo with stale buns, if you're clever enough to actually walk in, imagine the poor saps that sit in the drive thru, last time I went through the drive thru it took 30 actual minutes and as a result I was late to work. Imagine waiting 30 minutes for cold fries, cold beef, and stale buns. This place is a god damn trash heap and as far as I can tell none of the employees give a damn. I come here often because it's close by. They just did a new upgrade inside it looks better than before, nothing special though. I noticed the dining area hasn't been as clean as usual and it really bothers me that they don't wear gloves. One of the managers named Geneva always gives us a hard time when we want to order a kids just a burger meal. We always at all locations add lettuce & tomatoes and she always charge us extra. All the other locations including here when she's not manager, never charges extra for lettuce and tomato,unless it's a jr burger kids meal with out a combo. I eat here CONSTANTLY. Usually decent, but waiting 47 minutes for a burger and fries is not tolerable. 47 fucking minutes... the staff is too busy being immature little assholes and joking around than to get the food out to the customer. Isn't that the entire reason to be here as an employee? You're paying your employees to hang out and not do anything, congrats, you're on the way to prove why no one respects people in your profession. I love Whataburger. This is a smaller location, but it gets a lot of traffic because of it's location. They have a double drive thru, probably need a large store at this location. Probably my worst experience at a Whataburger. Born and raised Texan, so whataburger was a treat. I've given two opportunities, and both times I was sorely disappointed. The orders were wrong both times and when I went in to get it corrected, I waited another 15 minutes and when I asked politely I got a eye roll. I went back again, thinking that it was just a rough day, we all have those. Ordered our food, was told it was $13 something and got to the window and was told $17 something. I said "I was told it was $13 something, how'd it go up $4?". She said "I rang it up wrong, it's $17". I shrugged and said okay.
