This Whataburger is horrible. We stopped here on a trip for breakfast and they forgot half our order. As for the order that we did get, the breakfast tacos were disgusting and watery. What a horrible fast food restaurant. Our order was simple, 2 bacon avocado burgers, and a number 7 (full meal). After waiting in line for 25 minutes we got asked to pull over, and wait even longer because the attendant did not read the ticket correctly. He had handed the food off to the car in front, and then realized his mistake after it was too late and the customer called him out on it.This is company is suppose to show Texas Southern Hospitality (was never provided) and does not meet the time frame for being fast food. After this delay the food came out cold, and had no napkins to go with the food. If you are on a timely drive then DON'T STOP HERE!!! go to DQ and grab a real Texas experience. read more

Whataburger was a Texas tradition that I never understood. It's taken years to make sense but their niche makes them Texas pride. People in Texas love whataburger for its consistency, its always open late and they hit that niche of jalapenos on a burger in a small town late at night. This whataburger is right off of the interstate. I'll never think the place has the best burger, i'll never think it's the end all of fast food but it's common, ubiquitous and just about as traditional as visiting the Alamo when you're in Texas. read more

A good place to stop on the road from San Antonio to Houston. The food was good and the dining area was clean. What really made the difference was the service. The cashiers and the manager were so friendly. We forgot to order our burgers with cheese - totally our mistake. However when the manager brought us our food, she realized we were a little disappointed and offered to get us cheese right away. We said no because it had been our own fault, but to make up for it, she ended up bringing us free cookies instead. So nice and not something you would see at a lot of places these days. Front Cashier "Kitty" is extremely disrespectful. Has the worst attitude and does not have any sense of customer service. I don't usually have problems at a Whataburger and it's my favorite fast food restaurant but tonight was an awful experience. It was so bad, I cancelled my drive thru order and went to a competitor. Must be the D list workers tonight. Not only was the person taking the order at the speaker not helpful but when I drove around in the second lane, the guy came up to my window with an tablet or some kind of electronic device. I asked him for help with the app and he wanted me to pull to the front to figure it out on my own. At this point I told him to cancel my order and I would go somewhere else. My first Whataburger experience came during a routine fuel-up off the I-10 East on my way back to New Orleans. I got a double burger without cheese, fries, and a coke. I only managed to eat a couple of the fries, as the burger was much bigger than I expected! It was surprisingly good, for fast food. The buns were a touch on the sweet side, which I guess I like? Who knew? But if that's not your deal, these burgers would be pretty gross. The drive-thru was a little bit slow, but not unforgivably so. If put in this situation again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again--but I'd get a single burger so I could enjoy some more fries. read more

Passing through the south and kept seeing Whataburgers so thought I should try. Big fan of In and out in the western states. Have to say that I am more impressed with Whataburger. If you're randomly in this area and it's in the middle of the night... you should stop by this Whataburger location. I usually do not write reviews on a fast-food chain restaurant, but this place is all about service! They brought out my meal on a tray and also showed me another tray of condiments, asking me if I wanted any. We've also accidentally spilled drinks and all... they were super nice and got it all cleaned up. Poorest customer service that I have ever witnessed. The young girl at the register messed up the order in front of me, had to have the manager fix it, and when it was my turn she messed my order completely up. (two simple combos) She was rolling her eyes at me and didn't seem to even be listening. I have worked in the food industry myself, and by no means should it EVER be ok to act that way to a customer. Just wanted to let Whataburger management know that Florence at the Sealy location has got to be the nicest employee we have ever met. Stopped last night for cup of coffee and she offered to make a fresh pot for us and then gave us the Senior Drink special , even though we had money in our hand to pay for it. This location should b proud of her and Corporate office should use her as a training tool. She exemplifies hospitality at its best. Will definitely b stopping there in the future. This USED to be a great place to get a hamburger, but the last 3 times, the food is cold by the time you get back home, and the order is screwed up. This time, my son ordered onion rings, and they rang up French fries. If I wanted to get a screwed up order, I'll go to Sonic here in Sealy. I found it very frustrating to have to wait at a drive-in window for 12 minutes to get a #2 meal. I could have understood if the store had been busy , but such was not the case . I did receive a free fried pie for my extra wait , but , this was not my first time to have to wait . I do like your products and can not remember how far back it was when I got my first WB . Whataburger is probably the best fast food place here. I'm in high school band and we always tend to go there before our football games on Fridays. After football season, comes tennis! We go there before or after tennis practice. The waiters/servers are always quick and friendly, and they never get my order wrong. Their food always tastes fresh, and their fries/onion rings are always warm and crunchy. I've never had a bad experience at Whataburger and I'm sure I'll be going there quite soon! read more

The food was ok but the drive through was a different story. Every time I spoke to the girl serving at the window, she would ask my husband what I said.
