Absolutely terrible service. Sat for 20 minutes till they told us they're not taking service.

This has been the worst Whataburger experience I've had in a long time. The parking lot is complicated and the drive-in difficult to get through. The staff is slow, and largely disinterested. There is evidently one stall in the restroom, which is locked and has been for a very, very, unfortunately very long time. I recognize that my last point has little to do with management, but it was a final straw on top of several other issues. Just a big disappointment. read more

Goodness, I hate giving my fave burger place a bad review but in this case I must! We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. The staff is not friendly at all! They acted like we were an inconvenience to them, like they had something better to do. My fiance asked for a cheeseburger, asked if they had any other cheese besides American. He was told no. So he went without. If I'd have been standing there I'd have questioned her. EXCUSE ME?? They have SEVERAL other cheeses they could've used! He specifically asked for monteray jack and was told no. WHAT?? IT's on one of the new burgers LISTED! Or even the cheddar cheese on the other burger?? Very poor customer service! He would've paid for it, but wasn't given that option. Just told they don't have any other cheese. UGH! The fries were cold, eh, I'll live. Not once did any employee leave from behind the counter to come out to the eating area and check on customers. This is one of the main reasons I love Whataburger.....customer service! Instead, off duty employees were going behind the counter to get their food, hanging out and chatting with on duty employees,etc. These employees need some more training in that area, definitely! read more

I love Whataburger! This Whataburger is among the fastest I've ever been to. Since they make your food to order it's amazing how quickly it's ready. The staff is nice but double check your order, I noticed several people having to ask for missing things, including myself. Whataburger makes a great burger and this location does it very fast! read more

Lived in Texas have gotten many Whataburgers in the past and this was by far the worst. My sandwich was good despite my top bun being drowned in mustard but that's alright. My fiancé got a PLAIN fried chicken sandwich they slapped a ton of mayonnaise on that sandwich so he goes in to ask for a new because had it been a little he would have just taken the top bun off and try to enjoy it but it was A LOT of mayo. He goes in and they go from saying they didn't see it said plain to "oh plain means everything but mayonnaise on it." Trying to convince him to just take the first sandwich coming up with excuses to get him to leave, "oh it's gonna take another 30 minutes" bull, it would take about 15 minutes max and y'all were not even busy. They just continued to talk crap and complain about the situation in front of many other customers. Manager was working along with them and continued to allow these two terrible staff members to go on and on about this. The same two that got irritated with us since they were saying our order number wrong calling it "31" instead of the #3 we had. It would have just been a lot easier to keep their mouths shut and fix another sandwich rather than being trashy. To sit there and talk down about someone due to simple mayonnaise and then to do it in front of others too that you expect to wait on. Quite pathetic and all you have accomplished is degrading yourself in the eyes of the nature. read more

This Whataburger is one of the worst by far. You can bet on getting the wrong or incomplete order in drive thru. The customer service is something a buzzard wouldn't appreciate especially during the time in the evening hours. read more

Would rate negative if i could I just got back home from a simple trip to Whataburger and boy do I have some problems. First of all the people barely told me anything and were all round unprofessional. The service was awful with them messing up my order twice. Here comes the worst part of the entire trip, I sat in my car for 30 minutes when they finally brought out my order, which was wrong, so they brought it back an about 30 minutes after that they finally brought out my proper order. Like ma y others, I would give this restaurant 0 stars if possible. I don't put a lot of expectations into a fast food restaurant but this one, especially being a Whataburger, has set the bar pretty low for any other fast food. The young woman at the front counter was very friendly. For awhile. An older woman, I presume to be the manager, literally was walking around the restaurant with two rolls of toilet paper the entire time I was there. And I was there 20 minutes. Not eating. Waiting for my food. She only put the paper down when I asked if she could check on the status of my order. She didn't say a word, but at least did check on my order. While waiting I got to watch them preparing the food and oh my, it wasn't pretty. Whenever someone ordered something other than a burger the cashier would scream it to the back and I mean SCREAM. When the restaurant was getting full the manager yelled ( not spoke to) at the customers that they would not be able to eat in the dining room. Enough with the service. As a born and raised Californian going home for family reunions in Louisiana means I get to be fat and eat food I normally would never see and Whataburger is my testimony! I am so glad I don't live down there or my behind would be as wide as Texas because I stopped here 3x out of the 5 days I visited the boot and yes I stopped at Dollar Tree for zip lock bags to take my Whataburger on the plane. The food here is phenomenal, juicy real beef patties, delicious mc-donalds like fries, restaurant quality buns, fresh produce and interesting sauces! I couldn't be happier with the food without being suspect!! To top it off the portions are huge-- I mean order a double or triple burger and they will offer to cut it in half because it is that big you can't even get your mouth around it. By the end of your meal instead of Whataburger you'll be saying What...A...Bur...Ger! Fat-girl/boy status. I raved about this place so much to friends back home that they should have 5 stars but on my last visit there we went through the drive thru and ordered a bunch of food-- $60 worth for everyone and despite the person going over the order several times to ensure accuracy we got back to our hotel with several missing items including my moms whole order which meant couldn't none of us eat before she got her chicken strip sandwich!! Our plan was to eat before going to the airport so we decided to call ahead and let them know we were coming back for the rest of our order and had a plane to catch thinking it was cooked and bagged but just not given to us. The person who answered the phone said it would be no problem so within 5 minutes we were back on the scene. I sent my husband in to pick up the food and he had to come back out to get me-- "the mouth" of the family to complete the task. The manager I could tell would have given my husband a hard time-- he's hispanic, me being dark meat and no nonsense she immediately started explaining that she needed a photo ID to have on record in order to replace our food. I have never heard of a restaurant needing to photo copy your ID to give you your missing food that you have a receipt for and the 2 girls at the payment and food windows remembered me vividly due to our extensive order and jokingly yelled "it wasn't me" when they saw me return. It took a half hour to settle it and get my food. and TWICE even with the receipt in hand they brought me the wrong orders. The teenange girl bringing it kept trying to tell the manager what she had given her to give me was wrong but she didn't listen to her and I had to tell her again what I was missing. In the end I had to let her make a copy of my out of state license-- as if they were ever going to see me again, and sign a paper for the "free charge" food items which I already had paid for. Needless to say I didn't get to eat dinner with my family and ended up eating my food in that country ass building that passes for an airport out there. Totally killed my Whataburger buzz eating the food cold and irritated. Had it not been for this incident I would have given it 5 stars and a revisit! read more

This particular Whataburger store should be called "The Salty Spittoon". The meat is salty, the fries are extra salty. From eating the food afterwards it tastes as if I dumped a whole salt shaker's worth of salt and onions. Not only that, the burger buns are dry and flaky. All of it tasting like it had been sitting up. But it seems like, in my opinion the a lot of the local fast food restaurants in this area all follow that trend. read more

Had to try it since everyone says its better than In N Out....Fries were hot, but plain...Strawberry shake bitter syrup aftertaste...Not a smooth shake...Double cheese burger, nice size burger..However the meat was dry, cheese was semi cold, the burger taste like its been setting on the warmer waiting for me to arrive....Will give it another try at a different location, to be fair.... read more

Ridiculously slow service at this location in particular was told to hold on a moment at drive thru and waited 5 mins exactly trying to be overly patient before asking when can I order I was told to go ahead so there is obviously no professionalism being displayed at this whataburger extremely disappointed loyal customer however if pines rd location continues to demonstrate the inability to service me and other customers (as I saw someone in front of me in the line just leave and drive straight across to the mcdonalds assuming they left because of slow pace) then with that being said I will start looking other places to satisfy my whataburger need. read more

This was my first time trying Whataburger. My daughter and I both had the #2 on the menu. This was the double cheese burger combo. She had the onion rings and I had the fries. She loved the onion rings. It was all good but I don't see what some are raving about. The burger sort of reminds me of the Sonic burger. Patties and the bun. The breakfast menu looked really good. If the opportunity should come again I would try the breakfast next time. I gave it 3 stars cause the food was good. Maybe my cousin had my expectations to high. I've been to many burger joints and this was average to me. It was good though. .. If you ever get to LA try master burger on Manchester. Now that's a burger! read more

We had a very good experience here. This was a stop we made while traveling. Our food was fresh and delicious. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and the manager (Robert?) was exceptionally polite and attentive. We plan on returning. We love Whataburger but bad service can kill a place for us. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with this Whataburger. I've given it many chances, but I'm always disappointed. Last time I was there was mid-August, there were 10 people in line, and there were another 15 sitting at tables waiting for food. Only two tables in the whole place even had people eating. While waiting in line, the AC was dripping water on me. There was only one person taking orders, and yet there were 3 employees walking around asking people if they needed ketchup. They don't have any food yet! When I finally got my food it was way too hot, so I had to let it cool for another 5 minutes before I could even eat it. The taste was okay, not great, not terrible. I just ordered a #1. A regular size whataburger with cheese... What I got was a full size bun, with the whataburger junior meat patty. I eat whataburger nearly every day if my life, so I know I'm not mistaken. Sad thing is that I saw the manager on duty back handling the grill. Did I complain? No, it's not worth it. This was my first time eating here and I was told that the food would be good. The lady who took my order was impatient and frustrated. Then it took a while to get my food. When I got back to my hotel I unwrapped my burger and I had two end buns and one of them was burned and the fries taste like cheap McDonald fries. I'm reviewing this particular restaurant for the simple fact that they will not display the American flag properly! This goes back 2 years ago.I noticed that the flag was hanging by one hook on the flag pole.flapping in the wind,High above .I asked the management to fix it. They told me at that time that they could not fix it because the flag post was broke.It's a big retractable flag pole. When i said that they needed to fix it. they told me that it was on there list an that it would be fixed soon.Waiting!I gave them the benefit of the doubt an waited .One week later the flag was not fixed.Still hanging by one hook! I told them that i was going too call the news on them.Which i never did.An moved across the street to take photos of the flag ,an it's position on the pole. incredibly the flag was taken down an raise again in it's proper glory by the time a got across the street almost! (Jan 17,17) I was in the area an saw the AMERICAN FLAG again hanging by one hook! I asked around to the business owners an found that it had been down for awhile.I went to the store an asked the management to fix it!An soon! A DM from the store was there an said he would handle it.I told him about my concerns an that this was not the first time this had gone on. He took me outside in a abrupt manner dismissed the store manager.Telling her to go back inside.Again i was told that the flag pole was broken,an that it was back ordered to be fixed.I told him that it had been hanging there for some time an that it needed to be fixed!
