Would give it a zero, but Yelp doesn't allow.. I walked in and asked if they could accommodate for a table of 4 outside. They said no problem. We sat down. After 15/20 minutes of no one coming over we decided to leave. The table seated next to us was seated after us and already had water and their order taken. The host was walking by and I said that no one had been to our table. He looked at me and walked away. I went back to the hostess stand and told that we were leaving since no one had been to us. He just looked at me and looked away. I waited a few seconds and got no response. I said "an apology would have been acceptable". A girl there said "i don't know why no one came over". The guy still said nothing. I walked away and we left. I get it's a busy weekend, but it was not terribly busy there And there were other tables open.

Nice spot, staff were excellent, attentive and helpful. Ordered the house bread, was ok, not warm. And not worth $8. Four or us for dinner, I ordered the Riggi. Pasta was a little soft, likely from being in cups of oil. There was a lot of oil in that dish and was almost like soup. The other dishes were fine, pesto radiatore, burrata ravioli and a lemon shrimp and spaghetti. Was pretty $$$ for what it was.

Simply the best burger I've had in a long time. It was cooked perfectly medium with a smothering of lightly grilled cheese on top. The vegetable were fresh and the fries were outstanding! The decor inside says class, refinement and comfortable all at the same time. I'll definitely be visiting again next time i'm in town!

We ate there on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. We had no reservations. Other restaurants were telling us an hour + wait. They were kind enough to accommodate our party of three rather quickly. It was a lovely atmosphere and the service was fantastic. We shared a half Caesar salad and whipped ricotta. Both were very good. Then two of us had Broadway Bolo, (homemade pasta with meat sauce) and one of us had linguini with clams. All three of us loved our dishes. We would definitely return.

Ate here five years ago and food was good. Wife and I, on a Thursday afternoon, stopped in for happy hour and ordered two Tito's and tonic. Happy hour advertising sign outside on the sidewalk clearly states, "Happy Hour: Half-price beer, wine, cocktails. (See posted picture) Bill came, full price. Asked about happy hour. Bartender said, "Oh that's only well drinks." I call bullshit. (I mean seriously it's not like we ordered Belvedere or Grey Goose. It's Tito's FFS) We'll be back in 5-7 years.

Made reservations online for dinner for my husband and I. We were seated promptly on arrival. Staff was friendly. We ordered the the ricotta, white pizza and Famous 1lb lasagna. Our server asked if we wanted to try the bolognese topping and I said yes. Holy moly meat topping. I did not realize the sauce would add an extra 3lbs to the lasagna haha. It didn't look the prettiest but tasted delicious. The white pizza wasn't the best, dry and had a ton of parmesean, so I wouldn't recommend it but the lasagna was tasty. Just keep in mind how hearty the meat sauce is. The fresh ricotta appetizer and Tiramisu dessert were also pretty good! I would definitely return and try more options next time!

Great service, food arrived quickly and we had a lovely server. Sat outside on the porch and had a gentleman come up and the play the violin for us. We tried the calamari and bread, which were both delicious. Loved the seasoning of the calamari and the herbed butter. I got the seasonal salmon bowl, which had a very unique spicy dressing but was lovely nonetheless. Elderflower cocktail was also quite yummy

Really enjoyed this spot! The food was reasonably priced and packed with flavor. Service was excellent--super attentive and welcoming. They were very accommodating too, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

A healthy salad with lots of vegetables and salmon

The menu is massive, and so you should easily be able to find something for everybody...unless that person is looking for something super healthy. The Lagoon has burgers, and pizza, and lobster boats, and fish and chips, and four kinds of mac and cheese, and the appetizer list consists of all the things, fried: brussels sprouts, mozzarella wedges, wings, and more. We ordered all three of those fried things I mentioned to start, buffalo mac and cheese, a pizza, fish and chips, a cheesesteak, chicken fingers and a Greek salad. Our server was super bubbly and brought us all the sauces and drinks and everything else we asked for. It isn't going to blow you away with their culinary innovation, but The Lagoon hits a certain spot, and can seat your whole party with a view. I'd do it again.

Ordered was the poutine, a turkey club, and the hot buttered lobster roll. I came here for the poutine, a previous review had been very complimentary. I was underwhelmed, the gravy was thin, the cheese and tenderloin scarce. I will give the fries credit, crispy and seasoned, they were a solid base. Being so close to Canada, I'd expect better. The club was loaded up with dry turkey and not enough mayonnaise to help balance that out, but again the tots were crispy and seasoned so they were a gem, possibly the best thing here (and that's not a compliment because they're clearly a prepackaged product). The lobster in the lobster roll was chewy and dry, the roll was crispy but it was as though they had made garlic bread with a hot dog bun, then shoved some sad lobster bits in it. The coleslaw was drenched in dressing, but bland enough that I ate it for some texture and filling after being left wholly unsatisfied by my roll. All in all, I get the impression this restaurant relies solely on the lake, and their proximity to giving you a view while you eat, almost entirely to distract from a subpar performance in every other aspect of restauranting.

We started with cocktails, which were generally pleasing. My margarita was served in a beautiful glass, and I liked its tartness. But therein lies, I believe, a missing ingredient. A margarita is supposed to have a combination of tartness and sweetness - usually from agave - and I did not detect the sweetness component. Still, I'd order it again. Our group ordered a variety of arepas, and I went with their Reina/Queen, which is their chicken and avocado arepa. I was expecting it to be chunks of chicken and sections of avocado, I did not realize it was going to be combined more like a chicken/avocado salad... but still delicious. I definitely want to come back for some of those cooked meat arepas. And future visits will include dessert - we didn't order any because we were going elsewhere afterwards, but those all looked decadent. This is a great component to the variety of cuisines available in Troy!

I didn't realize they served lunch food (like savory crepes!) or I would have absolutely tried out what they had to offer. The pumpkin spice gelato was delicious, and for an extra 75 cents I added some apple pie filling which was great! The apple pie filling was a bit hot and melted the gelato, but it still tasted delicious together. The seating area was really cute and right on the bridge of flowers, so that was nice. I didn't see any bathrooms and it seems like there was not any area for designated parking. Luckily it was an easy walk, and I was already wandering around Shelburne Falls!
