Recently the frame of the bike broke without any reason??? I made Susan and Sean aware of it and they filed a claim with Specialized for me. With in about a week, Specialized decided that they would replace the bike with a new one. I was able to work with Susan and use the credit to purchase a new Specialized Sirrus 4.0 bike. I bought a set of golf clubs from Play It Again and after doing some research I realized that the clubs were so old that they weren't even in production anymore. Nevermind the fact that there was an additional charge at the register that was not told to me until I looked at the itemized receipt....the clubs were still too expensive for what they were. I went on marketplace and found a way, way better golf club set for less than half the price. I returned the clubs and I am in better shape because of it. Extremely poor service. I brought my bike in for a tune-up under my plan and they suggested I get…read morea new chain, which was fine. I picked the bike up and withing 25 miles the rear tire shredded on one side. I returned to the shop and was told this was just normal "wear and tear" and had nothing to do with the tune-up. I asked if an examination of the tires was nto something done in a tune-up, and they promptly told me that they have no way of knowing when a tire will shred or become unusable. The shredding was considered "a coincidence". I equate this to taking my car into the shop and know they will look at all the vital parts (tires included) and make recommendations on them. They seem to know what the remaining life span of a tire is I ended up having to buy a new tire and tube, which they would not even give me a discounted price on. They also mentioned that the tune-up plan I had purchased should have never been sold with the bike (not sure what that was all about...). I have been to many of the other bike shops in town and they are knowledgeable and thorough. These folks seem to be in it just for the money. Don't go here unless you really are in a bind. Go to a place where they know what they are talking about.

I booked them for this coming weekend, but then nearly immediately learned that half my party could no longer make it in town to attend. I reached out to Cycle Saloon right away, and heard back within an hour of my original booking. They were kind enough to work with me on finding a new date/remedying the deposit given the extraordinary circumstance. What great customer service! I will definitely return to Cycle Saloon when we reschedule in the future.
