Historically, I have had some not so great luck with getting oil changes in the area…read more I have been to place a half mile down the street that has forgotten to do the entire service I came in and waited an hour for TWICE, believe it or not. And I have been to a place right across the street from Take 5 that took 2-hours to do an oil change and asked a lot of questions about my car that I have never been asked to verify before an oil change. I don't know my horsepower or if have a hemi. I barely can remember the year my car was made. No further questions, please. Never again. I'm so glad Take 5 opened and so that now every time I drive past the other oil change places, instead of just cursing them and fretting about having return, I can now curse them and then move on to feeling delight and relief because just down and on the other side of the road is Take 5 to take care of me. I don't have to get out my car. It didn't take that long. Everyone was not only nice, they were actually cool, also. HUGE shout out to Cassidy, Rickco, and Brady. And while, pulling in over the hole on the ground was stressful for me as a nervous person, they were cool and not judgmental. Also, they didn't make me feel dumb about my car (I am) and the way they spoke to not only the customers, but each other, was so thoughtful and caring and and respectful and it was really lovely. They totally are running on teamwork and looking out for each other and their customers. I got new filters and they showed me my old filters and let me tell you two things: 1. I've been a nasty girl... because those folders were filthy AF. 2. Those monsters at the place down the street had been not changing my filter for years and charging me for it bc my car still had the dealer filter in it. So that is yet ANOTHER service/product I would go in for and not get even though I was specifically told I was getting that and paid them for it. All in all, I think I was at Take 5 less than 12 minutes... and to be fair it took me like 2 minutes to pull in bc I was nervous about the mechanic's hole. In fact, I was there for such a short amount of time that I started writing this review while I waited but they were done faster than I could type and gather my thoughts so now I'm sitting in the neighboring Urgent Care/First Watch parking lot finishing it. I'm so thrilled. I can tell in the 300 feet I've driven my car already that it drives SO much better and I love that they showed me my filters and the dipstick before AND after/new to show the difference not only because it was crazy but also because now I know that you can go to multiple oil change places on and just off this very same street and those places will charge you and then not actually perform the service or replace the stuff that you paid for. Scammin-ass scammers. Oh- and there's a cute sign when you leave that says 'Honk if you had great service' or something like that and I gave a lil double beep for my Baddies at Take 5 on the way out. I really hope they don't hate the honks. Hopefully it's not 'a fun sign for customers' but actually an annoying thing Cassidy, Rickco, and Brady have to hear all the time because corporate decided to put a sign up. I honestly don't know and then next time I come in for my oil change I'll be sure to ask their preference. To honk or not to honk... that is the question. Thanks Team Take 5!

The technicians are thorough and you receive a detailed report about the condition of your car and anything that needs attention immediately or repairs/maintenance to be aware of that will be needed in the near future. Everyone there seems happy to be there and enjoy their work. They are super understaffed and will not fix anything quickly. Just go anywhere else! I personally will never go here again to get my car serviced. I came to get brakes replaced and an oil change. Here's how it went. 1. The cost My brakes ended up being $1,300 which I felt was a bit high for two axels. Plus if I hadn't denied it, they would've charged me $150 to change two air filters (cabin and engine) that both cost $20 at any auto parts store, and can be easily changed at home. 2. The service They're pretty understaffed. I visited on a Friday and they had to hold my car over the weekend. When I got my car back on Monday, the engine sounded odd, I also noticed an oddly high RPM. And my car struggled to drive up hills. They gave me a sticker for the wrong oil grade, which was a red flag. All of the signs I noticed were signs of a mistake during the oil change. I went back in and told them about how my engine was running poorly and they told me they'd take a look. I got a call from the front desk who told me they'd determined that my engine was acting strange but that they had done nothing during the oil change. They quoted me a $650 procedure to fix the issue. I turned it down since it was out of my budget and when I got my car back it was running just fine. Like nothing happened. After a week of driving it daily with issues. Even driving it TO the mechanic that morning with issues. Suddenly fixed when they told me there was no issue. Either the front desk was trying to upcharge me for no reason, or their technician noticed their first mistake and fixed it without telling them, because they said they didn't change a thing and now it runs fine. Seems like they didn't want to admit fault and refund my oil change. That interaction was sketchy - I didn't appreciate them trying to sell me a $650 solve that wasn't the root of the issue.
