Dropped off my bike for service 8 months ago. Got a call saying new tires are needed cause they are aging even though not many miles on them. I agreed to have the front replaced. I didn't check the date of manufacture of the replaced front tire. Busy life, no chance to ride. Fast forward to now, car in shop, dusted off the bike and noticed rear tire has lost air again. Took her to another shop and was notified the "NEW" front tire had a date one year older than the 9 year old OEM tire. They had a ten year old tire in their inventory which they loaded on my bike. These bike tires are scrapped after 5 years because they get hard and are a high risk of death. When I went back they verified the age of the tire, agreed to replace it for a new one at no extra charge , "No Problem!" Nope they aren't touching my bike ever again. read more

Well let me tell you, I am very much impressed by this business, I recently needed to find a new motorcycle garage/ repair facility to service my Yamaha Roadstar that has been sitting for 4 years. Upon research I called up "WheelsInMotion" and talked to Rudy in the service department, he was so extremely nice and took his time listening to my repair concerns regarding my bike. He immediately organized a very fairly priced pick up at my garage to tow my motorcycle to the shop. After a very detailed assessment of the issues and a very reasonable price estimate, I agreed to the repair. The bike was serviced/ repaired in just a few day's. Hard to find a good experienced mechanic these days, this guy and this shop is it. They took care of me, no issues, quick return on the work, all of it fixed. I wasn't looking for the best deals or whatever dealership had the bike I wanted (R7), I was just looking for a place where people said they had good experiences, and Wheels In Motion was mentioned a handful of times. Luckily, they had the R7 in stock and they were only a 20 minute drive away. I contacted the dealer for a quote and Annabelle got back to me within a day with all the info I wanted and actually gave me an OTD price without me having to beg for it. I found Wheels in Motion on cycletrader when I was looking for a Ducati Panigale V4S. I found a used 2019 model there. It had the lowest price on the website. When I called to ask about the bike, it had just been sold. They had a new 2019 model at a very low price. I negotiated the bike with Ben and we were set to do business but, that bike was already sold by another salesman unbeknownst to Ben. This place sells bikes like hot bread, let me tell you! Ben offered to sell me a new 2020 model for a ridiculously low price. The price was slightly over my budget but, it was so low, I could not have turned it down. The price was by far better than all the other Ducati dealerships in my area and in the country! No dealership could come close to the price Wheels in Motion gave me. I drove from the Stockton area of CA to the dealership in Chatsworth. The dealership had an impressive, massive inventory. They set up their bikes like cigarettes in a box. They really take advantage of every square foot of their establishment. The place is easily accessible if you are going to load a bike on a truck or trailer. Their gear and parts department was also impressive. They have a wide selection of Ducati, Dainese, Alpine Stars, and other reputable brands. After finalizing the purchase of the bike, I purchased a couple Rizoma reservoirs and a tail tidy for the bike along with some Dainese gloves. They had a 25% discount on all the items I needed. Their prices were better than internet prices! Ben was great from start to finish with the sale of the bike. He was always honest and attentive in our communication. Greg in the finance department was very friendly and informative of the warranties they offer. I did not purchase any of the warranties (for the time being) due to me going over my budget buying the bike. However, Greg was happy with me not being able to purchase a warranty like as if I had purchased all the warranties. He seemed to look after my best interest, never pushy. Mike in the parts department was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable with the parts for my bike. I was 100% satisfied with my experience at Wheels in Motion! It was definitely worth the time and drive. The staff were friendly and efficient in their departments. I will definitely be coming back if I am in the market for a bike. Just brought a brand new Rzr for camping in the holidays. Took it to Glamis, in the middle of the dunes shut down!!! No to speak how dangerous it could have been for me. When I called the dealership, they told me I have to bring the vehicle in order for them to check it. I was able to look online and find temporary solution to get back to camp. When I was back from camping I took the rzr to the wheels in motion where I bought it a week before! They said that because I touched the vehicle they can not help me, I called polaris directly they accepted to have them check the vehicle and after 2 weeks they called back and said that because I touched it I do not have warranty. No can someone explain me how in the middle of the dunes in Glamis I'm supposed to bring back the rzr to the valley without touching it????? This dealership are scammers!!!!! No stars for this business. We sent our 4 year old Kawasaki Mule to them for service. The fuel filters needed replacement and the fuel lines cleaned. They had our Mule for 2 weeks. We had to chase them down to finish the job. We finally got our Mule back and had the EXACT SAME problems. We called our tractor mechanic. He looked at it and saw the work had NEVER BEEN DONE! They took $300 from us for service and didn't actually do the work. It also cost us $300 to transport the Mule to them and back. DO NOT EXPECT QUALITY OR HONESTY FROM WHEELS IN MOTION. read more

First off I want to say the majority of this review is for Cameron in sales. The other employees that worked with him the day I purchased my Triumph were great, but I will say Cameron is the star of this review. My initial experiences with the sales staff at Wheels in Motion were no where near as positive as my experience with Cameron. I won't go into bashing any particular salesperson as his behavior is not reflective of the rest of the sales staff, but I will remind him that his job in motorcycle sales is to take care of the customers. Make sure they leave the dealership with a positive experience and WANT TO RETURN. I only came back to Wheels in Motion after my bad experience because they had a bike I really wanted. I went back with loads of apprehension and distaste lingering from my previous experience. Cameron turned that all around! He was helpful, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, honest and HARD WORKING. I watched as he hustled and literally ran from one end of the dealership to the other in order to take care of his customers and handle business. All this was done with a professional and welcoming attitude and a sincere smile on his face. He did not make me feel like he was doing me a favor or that I was wasting his time by simply looking around. It arrived early and I was out of the dealership in about 90 minutes. I received a discount on my parts and Mark showed me how everything works. The dealers in San Diego where I live don't compare. No negotiations were necessary! JC was our salesman and he was able to get our toy ready to pick up that Sunday (they're selling them faster than they're building them). Everyone was very courteous and it felt like we weren't even working with a dealership, but with a group of people who genuinely wanted to help out a new rider. The staff at the accessories department in the back were awesome too and gave us discounts on all the accessories we bought for purchasing a motorcycle. They advertise that they price-match but they had the best price to begin with. We visited and spoke with dealerships from San Diego all the way to Thousand Oaks, but Wheels in Motion gave us the best out-the-door price. I understand every dealship is marking up prices on these bikes, but what i cannot wrap my head around is how a sales rep can tell me over the phone they can get me 1 price and i show up the same day 2-3 hours after and they tell me the same bike is $2000 more than they said over the phone. Buying a Bike can be Stressful. Wheels and Motion gave me a good deal. However, I wish they told me my bike had been dropped, probably in the showroom. The left handlebar weight was at quite an angle, some minor paint scuffs and the mirror mounting bolt was gone by the time I got home ( need to re-tighten those things when doing your minimum shoddy repair ). Some scuffs on the left upper hand guard are the tell tale signs left for me to fix. Nice bike, but I guess honesty is not their best policy. read more

Today I brought in my Scrambler 1100 for its annual service. The service advisor I worked with was Matt, who did a great job, and the mechanic who worked on my bike did a great job - so no issues at all if you want to bring your bike in for service at Wheels In Motion. However, although I came in just for my annual service (oil/filter change, resetting service notice, brake/clutch fluids, etc.), it turns out I needed a chain - not a big deal, and like I said Matt was helpful, so I didn't think twice about it. Anyway, the chain which was an RK Max-X Series 520 Drive Chain - 520MAXX-120 cost $139.99. When I got home I looked up the chain, the price of $139.99 was the List Price, and all the websites listed the chain for less (STG = $76.52, Amazon = $79.99, Walmart = $80.97, etc.). So my issue is with the Parts department and not the Service department. The Parts department should have charged me the normal going price for the chain and not the List Price, especially since I had to pay for a 0.5hr worth of Ducati Tech time to install the chain, which isn't cheap. Therefore, my advice when going to Wheels In Motion is to double check prices on parts before agreeing to the work, as the Parts department doesn't have your best interest in mind when having service performed at their Service Center. In summary, Service = 5 stars, Parts = 0 stars, and hence my 2 star review. read more
