once it came down to hunesty and being hunest,thats gonna be my red line right there so,id let u choosing instead of direct recommendations for anybody,anywhere. i had talked to employee name:julian and i asked him a favor,and he ok it so what that means in humans life was to do your job and then,when my appointment comes,i called julisn to make sure he is on the same page with me. however, ever since that conversation on the ohone we had, he found out that he shohld not being agreed with anything people are going to just testing their business employess you and specially when you had said *ok*,to my request. so time went by and the day before my appointment,i called in to make sure he is is not going to trying doing me wrong and here we go,as im always correct about other people, every single time,other employee picked my czll up and asked him: me:hey jessie so what is the total is going to be after talking to *julian*? instead of lets just tell me what julian put down in his notes to my aplointment,and the very same day,my actual dri op off date,jessie was telling me few hundred dollars more than i was being agreed with employee name **julian** and ever since then,every time i called in to talk to the same employee julian, jessie started telling me. after a long hesitatoon to think about my respknce upon my request,he started telling me, jessie:julian is no longer working with us anymore.(all of the sudden,julian was just waiting for me to being agreed with me but tried passing everything over to another diffrent employee to get me all the way. this was jessie's move tried charging me what was not agreed with julian,after being the one who picked my call up so with that being said. since one employee said one thing and same everything elses then,its not accepltsble for me as a ducati owner my whole life so i tried contacting their higher level employees managers and i had leff them 5 diffrent voicemails,5 completely diffrent and seperated times and dates for each of my 5calls over like 3-4 moths ago at least however,noone have ever recieved my voicemails or they are just trying to let things go so here is the main reseons why,i had chosen to have decent mechanics working on my bike. what i meant by that is,i am a believer and i dont want to have dishunest and careless employees is going to put their unlight hands to work on my bike so, everything happens for always alot bdtter reasons,for myslef so this was happened with wheels in motion dishunest employees however,im so haply and glad that an issue haplened by them for me to take my bike to top 3 itslian bike shops in my kver 40years bike life. id rather having a disagreement about the same thing in between me and others however i am not capable of being said dishunesty,and all it takes is being dishunest because once ur getting your kwn self in to that level of just starts telling things to people and those people being prkven otherwise. thats the life we are all being living in however,living in the just people being not what they were created for whatsoever,but ive been doing whatever i would wanted to do to myself howdver,there has been zero luck,by almost turning into 43years old andi actually hate it because ive been dealing with constant dishunesty,almost evdry singkd time thst ive dealth eith others. read more

I have used Wheels in Motion twice now for service on my Bike. Each time they have delivered exactly what was promised and a little more. I learned about Wheels in Motion when my buddy was looking to purchase a Bike. After he searched, and searched on the internet, called multiple shops, he decided to go here to purchase his bike. The first Service was to replace my broken sporcket, I had lost a tooth on my Sprocket, when my older chain had broken. I brought my bike in and it was completed in a day and I was ready to go, I had my new sprockets installed, they had also clean lube and adjusted my chain for no additional charge. As I was leaving I spotted a scratch on my bike which had not been there before I dropped the Bike off, a 4 inch wavy thin scratch along the rear plastics., I mentioned it to the Serive Manager (Danny) and he said I would have to speak with Eli, but he was not in at the moment and they were about to close, but he would let him know that I would call. I then called and spoke to Eli the follwoing day, of course he asked me it I was there before and if I was sure that it happend at the shop I said yes, I am very aware of EVERY scratch to ding on my bike. He then asked me to bring it in and he would see what he could do. I arrived that evening as they were closing, showed Eli the scratch and he said he would take care of it. I left the bike with them and they re-painted the entire rear plastics for me at no charge. I was able to pick up the bike in about 4 days. I just had my second service completed with them yesterday, I had dropped my bike off last Sunday as I had blown my front right fork seal. I also need to get a new rear tire (damn screws) that I had had plugged with a mushroom plug that did not hold and I had broken the headlight housing, When I had dropped it off, I also had asked Danny to check a coupel minor annoyances that existed. I had broken a screw off that held the lower plastics on and the rear "fender" (splash guard) was broken. Well I picked up the Biek and everything was completed, clean and working beautifully. The mechanic had also removed the broken screw (and repalced it), fixed the fender and even replaced the my left side mirror which had a broken mounting screw and was barely hanging on. I had only discussed parts prices with Danny and for some reason I completely spaces on the Labor costs. The total was around $150.00 more than assumed figure I had in my head. Given my initial surprise and subsequent understanding (I have no idea why I didn't calculate labor in my head) that this was my own fault. I was STILL given a discount, even after the free labor I had recieved on the small things. I will defnietly be using this palce in the future. p.s. So, I am an engineering student and I wanted to get into motorcycle riding. I have very little experience in riding and also my knowledge about motorcycles is probably even less. I did my research like any one would and I was looking for the best quality bike for a pretty tight budget. Now even when you do your research about purchasing your first motorcycle there's going to be a lot of unanswered questions going about buying a bike. I called 3-7 local shops around my area. And really they didn't even want to spend to much time answering what questions I had. Kinda made me feel stupid for asking. So I came across calling this store wheels in motion and Hugo was the one I spoke to. Honestly he answered anything I can think of at the time over the phone and boy did he really have some valuable information about buying motorcycles. And Let me tell you to save you time and money. A lot of shops charge for fee's that you might over look so pay attention. Any way, I felt very comfortable about this shop just off the phone call. Now, I go to the shop the next day or so, I come in get helped out right away. I told Hugo about the bike I wanted and immediately we went to work. He showed me all the specification on the bike and walked me through how to take care of the maintenance, how to be safe getting on the bike, and how to become a better rider. As far as getting me approved and finding out how much I will pay monthly was fast. I think the deal we made took under an hour, he gave me the best possible price for this 2016 brand new bike. I mean it doesn't get better than this. This shop, from my experience with Hugo made it quick, easy, and a high potential of taking your motorcycle home that same day. They even brought the bike to my pad before I even got there so this shows how legit this place is. Let me tell you guys reading this if you really want to get a great quality motorcycle for a price that's right and not shady hit up Hugo at wheels in motion and you'll probably end up doing what I did and buying a bike once you get in there because the deals are just so amazing. This is a review of the Wheels In Motion Service Department with an emphasis on representative Mike. Mike is a great frontman for the department. Friendly, accomodating, professional, and attentive. I walked my Yamaha WR250R into the the shop without making an appointment. Mike G. was the representative who handled my intake. He listened attentively as I described my issue: "clacking" sounds from a cold start coming from the crankcase. I suspected the dreaded rod knock and asked for a quote for a worst case repair. Mike provided an estimate that was only 5% off from the final invoice (unfortunately more issues were discovered throughout the rebuild). Prior, I had brought my bike to another independent shop thinking I would save some money ( Their quote was the same as Wheels') where it sat for a month untouched. When I brought it into Wheels in Motion, I received a call later that same day regarding the issues and confirmation to proceed with the repairs which were thoroughly explained to me. I was notified at that time that there would be a delay due to parts availability (low volume/ discontinued model). I received a worst case estimate of several weeks (they would ultimately arrive several days prior to that deadline). Once the parts arrived, everything was installed day of. Unfortunately some delays would crop up in the form of broken tools and additional repairs needed ( I was given explanations why and never felt pressured to agree). Some of the delays were at the fault of the service department and Mike would assume responsibility each time and ensure the wrongs were righted. Every time options came up, I asked Mike how much the current and additional costs were and they would be accurate at the end. Nearly a month later, I paid the bill, received a detailed invoice (which included some discounts and no duplicate charges), and got on my bike after a long 2 month separation. I had forgotten how it was supposed to sound, the bike runs great, the clacking has been replaced with the regular THUMP of a single cylinder. Some of my fairings had been held on with zip ties and when I checked, I notice they had use proper fasteners to reassemble. The job costed a pretty penny but I am so glad I had Wheels in Motion perform the service. I'd also like to mention how clean and well lit their shop is, gives you peace of mind when you know the guts will be exposed for a while. read more

Went to buy a cruiser today, got pointed towards potential bikes that were in my price range by a friendly salesperson named JC. JC was happy to help me find a cruiser in my price point however I was unable to find the correct bike for myself with the current inventory at the Chatsworth location. After about 5-10 mins, JC left. I was browsing the floor and stumbled on a sports bike that caught my eye, curious I asked the nearest sales person who was also very friendly and had experience with the model I was looking at. The sales person ultimately convinced me away from a cruiser to purchase said sports bike. After taking time to think it over during lunch, I decided to purchase the sports bike from the salesperson WHO HAD CONVINCED ME TO BUY IT. Upon seeing this, JC unprofessionally lashed out at his coworker in the middle of the showroom saying that he had me first even though he had left me to my own devices after only a short conversation. Meanwhile the other sales rep had me hooked for about 15 - 20 mins and was much more friendly in all aspects. As someone who has worked in sales, trust me I get it, but there's a time and a place for those actions and it probably shouldn't be heard or seen from the customers. In the end the other salesperson was sent home for the day and JC got the commission for a bike he didn't really have to work for unfortunately :(. I had heard good things from friends about JC so I was happy to work with him up until I witnessed his childish behavior. I went to Wheels In Motion about a month ago just to look at the motorcycles. I had seen a few of the offers on its website and on Instagram and thought I should check it out in person. Little did I know that I would be walking out as an owner of a brand new 2016 Yamaha R3! Anyways, I have visited the shop a handful of times since then and I think I have seen enough to be able to write an appropriate review. The day I purchased the bike, I was greeted by Hugo. Let me say that Hugo is the man! As I asked questions and looked at different bikes, Hugo was calm and able to answer all of my questions. When it came time to check financing options, all the numbers we discussed actually checked out. There were no hidden costs or shady calculations, something that I really appreciated and made me respect the dealership even more. Since this is my first bike, Hugo went above and beyond and gave me a complete practical rundown of the bike and even gave me his personal number, telling me I could contact him if I ever have any concerns regarding the bike. As for the rest of the shop goes, selection and availability of gear is great! Mike and Danny are my go to guys! They are both very knowledgeable and patient, which makes my experience as a first-time bike owner that much more smoother. We cannot say enough good things about this shop..My girfriend and I went into Wheels in Motion last Sunday. We both needed jackets /pants for out upcoming trip. In the show room there was a lot of stuff to choose from and lots of people in the there . As we waited for one of the sales person, I talked to some of the other people in the there ..I was curious as I have gone to a few other motorcyle shops and never have we seen so many people in a shop, showroom...Every one we spoke to said they were best prices and service...To make a long story short, we bought helmets, jackets, and boots for both of us. We saved a !@#%$ load of money on this, but the best part was they had 3 mechanics working on a Sunday. They suggested it would be a good idea to check over my bike for the trip.. It needed an oil change anyway, so I said good idea, ok, , so when it was up on the lift, Gary (head mechanic) looked it over, and checked it from front to rear. Even though the bike is only 2 years old, he checked everything from brake linings to steering head bearings...Several things were adjusted, rear brake pads , replaced, and the price was a heck of a lot less then any Honda dealer I have ever gone to. We rode home and what a differece a little "checkup" makes with a knowledgeable mechanic can make...I have much more confidence in my bike, and thats a great feeling as well as Safety factor.....Thanks "Wheels in Motion" for giving us great service, and great saving...thanks Eli read more

It's beyond understanding how this shop went from piecing together wrecked bikes (no 2 pieces of plastic on any bike in there were ever the same shade of color) to an actual Yamaha dealership. This shop has always had the squid demographic as their bread and butter, so it's always a bit of a chore going in there, hoping they can help with something more specific than trying to sell you a half-salvaged GSXR. The last straw for me came when I called about replacing a carb on a TTR125, and the guy on the phone paused for a few seconds. "TTR... is that a Yamaha?" he said. FROM A GUY NOW WORKING AT A YAMAHA DEALERSHIP! Any dealership that has guys working at the parts counter, that can't recognize the name of a model of the brand they sell, can't even begin to claim you'll get what you need. A lot of reviews call out Eli (the owner) as a good guy, and I've met him before, and he does seem to be interested in helping out, and making sure the customer has a good experience, but unfortunately his staff completely brings the place down. If they're trying to pass themselves off as a legitimate dealership, the majority of the staff needs some SERIOUS training, since the shop seems to be staffed by, and marketed towards squids. The 10 minute drive over to Simi Valley Cycles still seems definitely worth it, instead of going to Wheels in Motion down the street, only because of how inept the staff is. read more

Initially I got one of the younger more enthusiastic workers ,Young blond thin kid with glasses if I remember right ,and after dealing and talking with him everything went well and prices seemed excellent for tires and they have been good in the past for tires. It all went fairly badly from there though. The rest of the staff seemed less then enthusiastic to have another bike in. I understand having too much work load but don't act like your too busy to work on my bikes or answer questions. My bike got forgotten about. I actually showed up the following week after no call backs for my special tires to be delivered and get my sprocket replaced, to find my bike baking in the sun and NO work done to it. They lost its paperwork in the shuffle and asked me to come back the next day and they would have the tires on it. Well the tires and balance were excellent and price was good for them . Except for the young kid the rest of the "mechanics " were total pompous dicks about things. I would never take my bike there except for tires ever again. I brought my bike to a small shop and had them do the suspension work and sprocket change I initially brought the bike also in for. If I can find another tire place that's less busy I will switch. They didn't need my business and the message is received. I used to recommend them to my bike friends for tires but not anymore. read more

Sometimes, a person should have patience. After three scams, Patience left town. Have three motorcycles. The first time (Motorcycle #1) in for repair was a fiasco. The "manager" made amends by discounting the bill. Sorta. By discount, the bill was reduced to the amount originally orally quoted. Discount???? The second time (Motorcycle #2), per the above experience the repair estimate was obtained in writing. Nonetheless, when time came to pay the bill, one charge had DOUBLED. Luckily, it was caught before payment. The last repair job - in more ways than one - a brake fluid flush was requested (Motorcycle #3). Uncontaminated brake fluid is clear. Mine was the color of syrup. Time for a change. Brought the bike in for a brake FLUSH ( I supplied the fluid as I use a special high-temp syn). Was charged for a brake bleed AND in amount greater than I had just paid for another bike about a month ago (both bikes Kawasaki Vulcans - same brake system). Did not get the brake flush ordered. A brake fluid bleed and brake fluid flush are NOT the same. In a brake bleed a small amount of fluid is syphoned off to remove air. In a brake flush, ALL the old brake fluid is pumped/sucked out and replaced with new. Big difference. I do not recommend Wheels in Motion on account of inconsistent pricing, unreliable job estimates and sham repairs. read more

Wheels in motion is by far the best place to take/purchase your bike. Eli and his guys will not steer you wrong at all. My first bike I ever got was from my friend in Arizona and when I went to register it in Cali I was unaware that the bike must need 7000 miles on it to be legal to register in Cali. I was screwed, the DMV red flagged (which meant I could not sell my bike anywhere in Cali) my bike and told me I had 1 week to get it out of the state. I called everywhere and no one could help, I then called wheels in motion and Eli told me to bring it down and he will take my bike in exchange for one of his. He sells bikes across states and said he would have no problem selling my bike. I looked at the bike that he had that was just like mine and Eli came out and asked me if there was anything that I wanted off my bike onto the new one. I asked for my fairings and handle grips and he said no problem come back in 2 hours it will be ready. Came back, signed the papers and out the door. I just recently purchased a 2011 Honda from them and I spoke to JC and Eli over the phone, they were very friendly and wanted to work with me to make the deal. I financed this bike and Eli fought to get my payment lower which was amazing. These guys at wheels in motion will not steer you wrong, I will never go to another motorcycle shop for anything. read more

I have to confess that I was looking on CL for a used Yamaha FJR1300, because of my current finances, then I saw an interesting low priced brand-new '15 Yamaha FJR1300 Ad on a CL advertisement from wheels In Motion...it was...even cheaper than some low-mileage and older models from private sellers! So, having myself some years of experience on sales I headed to W in M expecting a price increase and a pushy salesperson as soon as I get there. Then after I told Hugo (salesperson) that I wanted to finance the motorcycle, I just hold my breath and waited for the classic sales person sentence: "You know, Mr.?, THAT is the Cash price and it can't be financed, so it must be increased to $$".....NOPE!...then we both sat at the desk instead and In a matter of minutes I was fully approved with a very low APR!!!!. I even had room (on credit) to get some accessories like big top trunk, frame sliders, etc...at even very good discounted prices (thanks, Danny)!!!!! On my personal opinion I give Wheels In Motion 5 stars: prices and service are awesome! I'm very pleased with Hugo, Danny and finance Guy. They made my buying experience so wonderful! I (oddly) had worst buying experiences with some private party sellers than from Wheels In Motion!. I'm very happy with the deal obtained!! read more

I did not get the name of the gentleman who I spoke with, but he told me that even though my bike was a bit older than what they normally serviced, they would be happy to do the job since they are a Yamaha authorized dealer/service center. I was told to bring in the bike on 12/16 or later - it was at another shop that dropped it off to them on 12/17. Today, I received a call from Danny in the service department telling me that my bike was "damaged" from been crashed and was leaking oil everywhere, and that they refused to work on it. For starters, my bike has NEVER been in an accident - it was tipped over once years ago while parked by a car backing up. There was NO damage aside from a few scratches on the clutch cover, and my bike is NOT leaking a drop of oil whatsoever. Danny was extremely condescending throughout the phone call, which is a complete joke considering I take extremely good care of my bike and know what is and is not wrong with it. EVEN IF the bike was leaking oil, is it not the job of a "Yamaha Authorized service center" to SERVICE the bike to a condition where it is no longer doing so? read more
