I choose this location over the dealer because the dealers charge so much more for the same service- here it's pretty upfront - They don't try to up charge you in anyway as they typically do with women (in my experience) which I greatly appreciate and their work is quality. I love their customer service. It's a tire place so there is no ambience but you can sit down and wait peacefully - there is television to watch if you bring kids with you . Service is on a first come first serve basis- so plan your time accordingly and your wait should be about an hour. read more

My car had several problems from auto to electrical. I walked in and was greet by Chris, very friendly and professional. He ran a diagnostic scan, opened the hood, checked my oils and drove it. He found the problem and got right on it. I ask them to if they put on hitch for a car and they said yeah $80 labor if you provide the hitch, a job that would take 20 to 40 mins they took maybe less time but charged me for 2 hours. I sat there for an hour, and they took my car it took them maybe 20 mins before getting to my car, because they had other cars there. So they added the labor to another car as well as my car as my end price... thanks a lot... Do I recommend these people? not for this type of job, simple jobs that they put price on the board for yes, but anything that has to do with labor don't waste your time they will screw you... I do not recommend this business. I went to their online website, scheduled an "appointment" online and submitted my request for 4 new tires. I promptly received a price quote from the owner and President - Jose who also informed me that it's drive up service only, no appt and that it would take 45 min. On the surface, all seemed good so far. I arrived when the store opened, and spoke with the clerk at the counter. Almost immediately, the clerk disputed the quote I was given - asked me if I created this pricing (? - I then showed her my email from Jose) and informed me that the "senior sales person" Jose Calderon was mistaken and immediately tried to increase the pricing. She spoke to her colleagues in spanish, not realizing that as a Latina, I understood every word. I then asked how long of a wait for service and was informed that it would take at least another 1.5 hours to be called, and another 45 minutes to 1 hr for the actual labor as there was limited staff. I then informed the clerk that I was leaving. 1. They tried to rip me off from the original price quote from the owner/President and 2. Because the total wait time would be 3 hours, not 45 minutes. Don't get ripped off - spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Wheel & Tire Depot has good prices on some great tires that are sometimes better than Tire Rack and other online tire stores. It's also nice that mounting and balancing are included in the tire price. However, you have to call ahead to get good tires shipped from their warehouse to their store. Their in stock selection is terrible. Unfortunately I had hit a massive set of potholes that punctured one tire and produced a bubble on another. I hit up Wheel & Tire to replace the whole set of four. They were able to get good tires at decent prices, but I'd have to wait a day or two for them to ship. Their in-stock items were pretty old and also very expensive. Since I wanted to get this over with, I elected to go with what was in stock. The guy went through his available inventory and none were good (I eventually went with a tire that Tire Rack last reviewed in 2005 and has been replaced). 1,000 miles later and I still wish I had waited for the tires to ship and taken taxis around instead. Also, the guys missed a very obvious crack in one rim, even when I told them explicitly to check for them since I had hit potholes. I had found it out later when my new tire was flat; I took it off and saw the 1-inch crack for myself. Finally, their alignment made one wheel's negative camber a degree further away from factory settings than it was before; it was even in the before-and-after alignment specs they handed to me. For a specific function, namely sourcing certain tires at good prices, these guys are great. I'd come back here to order cheap tires for delivery and have them mounted and balanced. I'd then go to another shop to get an alignment and check their work. read more

I was completely satisfied with Wheel Tire Depot. First, it's clean and well organized. They have a welcoming waiting area for customers to enjoy fully equipped with flat screen TV. They have stellar customer service. They were willing to answer all of my questions and walked me through the entire process. The competitive prices were the best part. Awesome place of business. I was recommended to this place of business by my brother in-law Derek and all I can say is WOW... They are very attentive to your needs and very honest about their work and pricing. I went away for a small vacation and left my truck in their hands and they stayed in constant communication with me and informed me about all the work done to my truck. FEMALES BEWARE! I've always been told to bring a man to a mechanic But I've never listened and never had a problem before going here. I received a quote over the phone but when I arrived the price was higher. I told the guy the price I was given and he did agree To give me the tires at that price. They offered to give me a discount if I paid in cash so obviously I judged their character as they were clearly trying to avoid taxes. Now my biggest problem with this place is after they did my tires they told me my brakes were absolutely gone. They told me I needed front and rear brakes and new rotors which was going to cost me close to $1000. They showed me some breaks that where apparently mine that were absolutely down to the metal. Then they told me that I should call my father or my boyfriend to find the money assuming that I 1. could not afford to pay it myself and 2.that I needed a man to help me. I'm a 27-year-old woman who pays my own bills and does not need daddy to tell me what I need to fix my car. Long story short I decided not to get the brakes although they continued to try to convince me how un safe my car was to drive. I took my car to Mavis the next day and was told my brakes were fine. I also had my car inspected about two months later and my brakes and rotors passed. Clearly these guys were looking to make an easy buck and saw me as easy target. Sorry guys! I gave two stars because they really do have the lowest price tires around. However they're unprofessional and are looking to take advantage when they can. read more

I was referred to this establishment by a coworker. He said, " I went to high school with this guy, they do great work!" That was enough for me, I was sold. The tread on on my tires were significantly worn, and it was time for me to swap them out. I was lucky enough to purchase 4 great tires off CL at a fraction of what they cost and just wanted them mounted and balanced. Painless I thought, not work I could do myself but imagined, a tire and wheel place this was their bread and butter. One of the tires did need repair because it had a nail in it. I let them repair it since their plug or patch would be far more superior than a simple plug of my own. I waited longer than I ever expected after poking my head into the shop, but that's ok, and it didn't upset me, or effect my poor rating. The service desk reminded me of that phrase "too many chiefs not enough Indians," as if they were pretty good at greeting you as you came in, but once you were inside and seated you were lost in the crowd. After a healthy amount of waiting the same gentleman I introduced myself to asked if anyone helped me yet, no I responded (FYI, this was the same gentlemen who I was recommended to, and I of course said hello from our mutual friend) I waited another 15 or so minutes until my service began. It didn't seem incredibly busy but I cannot speak of what I am not aware of either. They could have had a dozen cars in the back so I simply won't assume. On to my service.. My car came out, and the service tech who performed all the work explained what was done in as much detail as I needed. I handed him my standard $20 tip, and I was on my way. The only thing that really caught me off guard was that the rims were covered in grease. I'd expect that if I were doing the work but I wasn't. I understand that the job is dirty but they really looked like crap, and the fact that it was ok to send me on my way left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess I was taught differently, when you do a job, you do it right and you leave your signature on your work. It would have taken a minute a tire if you were half asleep to spray and wipe the rims. Instead I was made to wait till it was caked on when I got home later that evening. Thank god I needed to go to the CVS diagonally across from the shop. It was there before turning my car off did I noticed that my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light was on. Simply stated the TPMS is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure inside your tires. I thought to myself well that's weird, and started googling (of course trying to find my own answers.) Maybe the warning light needs to be reset, maybe it takes a period of time to reset itself. Who am I, that's why I went to a wheel, and tire shop to begin with. I noticed as I got out of the car that the right rear tire appeared low. I finished what I had to do in CVS, and returned to my car to notice that the same suspect tire was noticeably lower than a couple minutes before. Ugh I whipped out my handy-dandy pressure gauge (and not the $2 dollar kind) and was perplexed to conclude that each and every friggin tire had a different amount of pressure in it. I'm okay with a few pounds of pressure difference, but they were all blatantly off. Rechecking that low one I knew the tire was actively leaking. Doing a u-turn, I made my way back, and explained my dilemma. Would you believe (yes you would) that again I sat, and waited another 20 minutes for my car to be taken to be re-repaired. In the end I was asked to pay again because they said they missed a puncture, and they had to place another patch on the tire. I wasn't okay with them missing the leak, but I can see these things can happen from time to time. I wasn't okay with the waiting, and not the initial waiting. It was the waiting after I had already paid, generously tipped, and left part the waiting. I surely was not ok that each and every one of my tires internal pressure was different. The cherry on top was the filthy residue that was left on my rims and tires. I'm almost confident that if I would have purchased 4 new rims from this place, they would have been shining brighter than they did when they took delivery of them. When I do work for anyone, I want them to be asked "where did you get your work done?"I know whatever I touch will be done with pride and the job will be done right. Please care about your work, because I care about who is doing mine. read more

These guys are life-savers and the best around. Couple of months ago hit a pothole and got a flat tire. Shopped around for a while and these guys gave the lowest price out of anyone around. They shipped the tire the next day to the store, and it was a lower price than even tire rack and it included mounting and alignment. I was in and out of there in no time at all. Fast forward a few months. Hit another massive pothole, so big that it popped the headrest off and damaged my wheel. I had a free Service B from Mercedes so I brought it to them. They tell me the wheel isn't fixable and that a new one will cost me 1k. So I brought it to Eddie and the guys and for 80 bucks they fix the wheel in 25 minutes. The prices are great and if you have a budget let them know what that is and they will try their best to take care of you.
