NO WORRIES!!! Three years and a whole family of cars later, I (A FEMALE) STILL TAKE MY CARS TO Wheel & Tire Depot. Why, because they do great work, are friendly and courteous, and take great care of my auto needs. Oh, and there is the reasonable pricing of their products and services. I found Wheel & Tire 3 years ago when my daughter needed tires. When we got there (TWO FEMALES) they could have attempted to take advantage of us as some mechanics might, BUT THEY DID NOT. THEY WERE HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. WE LEFT WITH QUALITY PRODUCTS AND SERVICE FOR A REASONABLE COST. Over the past 3 years, up to just yesterday, WHENEVER ONE OF OUR CARS NEEDS WORK, I CALL WHEEL & TIRE DEPOT. I am very glad I found them. I was worried when I moved to Yonkers that I would not find a mechanic I could trust. I TRUST WHEEL & TIRE COMPLETELY. I know they will always do their best and the best for my cars, all 5 of them. My daughter's Echo 3 years ago for tires, my mother's Passat for a battery, my husband's Saab for tires, his Jeep for its transmission cooling line, my Mazda MPV for tires, then muffler heat shield and not long ago the coils in the engine. After every repair, our cars ran like new. Last year we took my daughter's Echo for an unknown problem they found to be the front axle. We had them repair it and were very satisfied. At that time they recommended that the front brakes and rotors needed repair, but they did not force the issue in any way. The just advised that it should be done as soon as possible for safety reasons. I don't know what kind of crazy feminist this Cristina I. is, but I have never had an experience even close to what she describes. The guys always take the time to explain exactly what is wrong with the car, what the part that needs fixing does, what can wait to be fixed if your financial situations needs time, and they don't have a problem with showing you the replaced part(s) (that is one sign of a good and trustworthy mechanic). I ALWAYS TAKE MY CARS TO WHEEL & TIRE WHEN I NEED REPAIRS (inspection, wipers, lights, muffler, batteries, engine, AC, brakes, etc., not just tires). The absolute only time I couldn't was when I needed body work, which they don't do. read more

I am very hesitant when it comes to mechanics from past experience. I have gone to different shops and felt taken advantage of due to my knowledge on car mechanics. I was recommended to Wheel & Tire Depot by a friend three years ago. I went in for an inspection to test the waters and left with only an inspection and not push into getting unwanted repairs as done in the past from other mechanics . In later months I went back so I can get my brakes look at and was told my brake pads was still good until my next inspection . They even took the time to show me my brakes and educate me on how low the pads should get before replacing it. They could of easily said they have to get done and I would of have them replace. I left feeling good and now I am confidence knowing when I go for any of my car repairs at Wheels & Tire Depot that I am in good hands. When I went in for my next inspection I got my brakes change, I was in and out pretty fast and again felt they did me right. These mechanics are great and most importantly very honest! Very professional yet friendly and patient and understanding with their customers This shop was recommended to me by another shop who didn't do alignments that I needed badly for my 16 year old RAV and since I was desperately eager to find a shop to do my alignment I drove right up to the shop though it was late in the evening but to my surprise, they took care of my truck by checking to see if what I was asking for was correct. Eddie and his crew at Wheel and tire Depot are the real deal. They helped me out big time! My 15 year old car's suspension was terrible......always been kind of harsh and bone jarring even when new. The guys installed a coil over kit all around with 4 new Hangooks and the car is so freaking smooth now. It's unbelievable...better than new! I've taken the car to other tire shops in the past (Firestone, Mavis, etc) but none have ever been able to fix the suspension like these guys did. I would recommend these guys to anyone every time. I truly had a great experience at Wheel & Tire Depot. Joey C & his staff are very knowledgeable about their products. He helped to work out pricing as I was on a strict budget and that helped out a great deal. The prices are very affordable. I also like that they offer other services (oil change/ brakes/ alignment,etc ) not just installing tires. On more than 1 occasion, I was able to get multiple services at 1 visit. Everyone was nice and polite. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day, unlike big tire distributors and big box stores with tire centers. I was recommended to W&T Depot about a year ago to have a damaged alloy rim repaired. The price was fair and the work was excellent. It made sense to give you a return visit. I ordered a set of four Michelins for my Terrain. Tires were great, price quoted included all the extras that other places will hide until they have you there. I was told I could take up to an hour.
