Is it a speedy, reasonable option with debatable healthiness that has the perfect price point for a $12 Alaska Airlines travel voucher? I'd argue it's a solid option for that. I got the Fresh Start Breakfast sandwich (3/5). Just about what I expected. Lightly toasted bun, cheese melted, wish it was slightly more loaded with avocado or tomato but beggars can't be choosers in the airport I guess. This which which is an airport location and charges a lofty premium for its sandwhiches. I am a lover of which which but this location always lets me down. Today, they did not have black bean patty even though it is on the menu. They also do not have tuna. This leaves vegetarians and pescatarians with nothing but a sandwhich with vegetables in it. And, you cannot customize like you can in a regular Which Which. There is no feta, no spicy pepper mix, no pesto. I'd never had a Which Which before. It was... fine? I wanted something plant-based, and tried the Black Bean with Avocado sandwich. The standard 7-inch size was more than enough. I enjoyed the fresh tomato and the dressings, and the avocado was also excellent. The black beans had some spices which I wasn't that into. It was about $11 for the sandwich in January 2025, which seemed reasonable for an airport option. Good god... what a waste of a "restaurant". Look, I know it's the airport, and I know it probably sucks to be dealing with cranky passengers, but this was one of the worst "meals" I've ever had. I asked for the bacon egg sandwich with avocado & tomato. The dude working there looked at me like I had just told him I had burned all his Christmas presents. Just dead eyed, 1000 yard stare. They didn't toast the sandwich at all, either, which I thought was weird, and it didn't help the sandwich at all. I ended up throwing half of it away. The coffee was old and tasted burned too. I unfortunately experienced abominal service at this location. I ordered 3 large sandwiches and 1 regular sub. I repeated the order to the server and was charged. Jayvin was my server. When picking up my order I discovered the order was incorrect . When I asked for my order to be corrected, an employee without a name tag was rude, abrassive and unprofessional. He proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone saying I was holding up his line. I asked to speak to a manager and he claimed to be the manager. He said, " if you don't like the service go somewhere else!" I told him he must clearly not like his job considering the horrible customer service. He laughed and said, "I have my degree . This is easy money for me." If this is the type of service provided at your establishment by a manager I would be concerned for the future of your organization. Okay, so it's a chain sandwich shop. They all sell pretty much the same fare that you can customize in more ways than you can your next BENTLEY GT!! The sandwiches here are customized and made to order as you've indicated by ticking boxes on the order form located on their bags. There are also ready-made sandwiches in the cooler along with salads and beverages. The ready-made option is a winner if you're on a tight schedule so don't rule it out. While having a slight delay at the airport, the tummy wanted something to eat. This place grabbed my attention. The concept is simple. Instead of ordering your sandwich in assembly line fashion, you grab a sandwich paper bag, fill out your selections, hand it in and wait under 5 minutes for your sandwich to be made fresh and to order. There are also signature sandwiches to chose from that you can modify if you don't feel like creating your own creation. I created my own sandwich with turkey, pesto, provolone, cucumber, pickles, black olives, spinach, and avocado. Avocado was $1.10 extra, but I was given a lot! A lot more than I'm used to when told avocado was extra. It was delicious! I am mad at myself for not getting another sandwich to take home to enjoy today. The sandwich was lightly toasted, and delicious and filling! I only went with a "regular" as my size. The other sizes offered are large and super. You can also get your meal made into a wrap or salad. Service was okay. There isn't much interaction with staff as you just hand them your order, pay, and then wait for your name to be called that your order is ready. I'm jealous we don't have any of these in NY. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I didn't really enjoy it. Originally we tried to order breakfast here, but we missed the breakfast window by three minutes so we ordered lunch sandwiches instead. I got the black bean avocado sandwich. They didn't ask for my choice of bread and gave me white by default even though I wanted wheat. I asked for jalapeños but they forgot to add them. The sandwich itself was very dry. I was parched while eating it and had to add some extra mayo to make it a little more palatable. The black bean patty was a little too salty and they added too many onions. I will say, the large size sandwich is big and very filling. They also show fries on the menu, but they weren't available to order. I went to the Terminal C location. They have two vegetarian options--a black bean avocado, and garden--that can be made vegan by omitting the cheese and mayo. I got a regular size ($10.49 plus tax). They aren't generous with the veggies, and you get crappy iceberg lettuce by default (ask for spinach for better greens), and the black bean patty is just passable. Experience was not great, but after complaining twice got the correct sandwich with melted cheese. You pay 15.00 for this sandwich...so it is hard to not ask for it to be made correctly. Where do I start with the complete garbage of options in IAH's terminal A. Which Wich was a disaster from the start. I waited in lunch rush hour line for ~15 min before arriving at the counter to order. At this point I was told that I needed to step out of line and find a hidden corner with absolutely NO "start here" signage! Infuriated, I agreed just to write a review. I started filling out the sheet of all the options the signage said I had to choose from (please keep in mind there's 2 sheets, again no signage) and found the exact order I wanted which was a build your own philly cheese steak could not be completed with just one paper so I filled both out. I returned to the ~12 min line just to have the guy tell me I only needed to fill out one page but had to hand write every thing in.. he politely did so for me. I received my sandwich to find it was a regular philly and nothing had been added like requested. I feel sorry for the ignorant, no sense billionaire who came up with such a piss poor concept that's laughing all the way to the bank. This is by far the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I decided to watch a few customers and come to find out half of patrons wait in line just to be turned away to fill out a paper. I blame the employees for not bringing this up to management, if managent knows (which I'm sure they do) they should be fired immediately. You get a (bag) piece of paper and check off everything you want. Hand it to the cashier and that's about it. I got a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with some veggies and deli mustard (pretty basic). This is one of my fav sandwich spots! I truly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich (white bread, egg white, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms and mayo) that I ordered. I gave only 4 stars because they were out of the ingredients that I requested like spinach and avocado. There is a big sign showing the avocado and spinach but they don't have it.
