This is one of my fav sandwich spots! I truly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich (white bread, egg white, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms and mayo) that I ordered. I gave only 4 stars because they were out of the ingredients that I requested like spinach and avocado. There is a big sign showing the avocado and spinach but they don't have it. For an airport, this was a great sandwich. The ordering process was a bit odd, and some menu items were missing from the bag you wrote your order Dow on. But it was good and freeway food in where there were few options other than fast or processed food. read more

Cute sandwich shop that I never noticed until Yelp showed restaurants near my location and I'm in terminal A all of the time. It blends in. Nice variety of meat sandwich options, one veggie, and tuna option. I had the avocado sub. Nicely priced sub for the airport as airport food is typically more expensive. It came to around $7 just for the sandwich. It wasn't the best tasting sandwich, but it was decent. I'd eat them again for the convenience of being close to my gate but, I wouldn't go out of my way. So this franchise on Sunday July 25, 2020 charges regular price and decides to give less for what they market the sandwiches. Sandwiches are supposed to be 7.5" and when you get to the counter they say they only have 7". Confession: my obsession with Which Wich is real, I was flying out of Terminal C but decided to make a detour to terminal A to cure my which craving. As you may have caught on already, I love Which Wich and this location is no exception! The service is quick, I waited maybe 5 minutes from paying to getting my food and the sandwiches are delicious as always. Everyone I interacted with was super polite which is a plus. Maybe it was the "airport location syndrome" but the people were aloof, at best, and being a WW tyro I had no idea you had to go get a brown bag and write what you want on it, get back in line, wait 'till they notice you, hand them the bag, point out that you did indeed mark "make it a meal with chips and a drink", pay, and step aside to wait. This is the airport location located inside the terminal. The sandwich was good but I think I had much higher hopes and expectations. It was toasted but after I had it and hour later in the plane it was completely soggy and they had put away way way too much sauce inside which soaked up the entire bread and became a wet mess when I wanted to eat it. I don't typically opine on restaurants in this way but I had such an annoying experience at this Which Wich location I felt prompted. For one thing, I am actually put money for products I purchased but did not receive, and I have no recourse other than to complain. I should add that I went to the Which Wich website but as far as I could see there was no where to leave a complaint. So Yelp is it. I have never eaten at Which Wich prior to today, and don't expect ever to again. Here was my experience. 1. Went to the counter, at the time there were two other customers. I began looking at the rather busy menu board, while the young man behind the register repeatedly asked what I wanted. I motioned to him that I was trying to see what I might want. 2. Finally making my choice, I stepped up to the counter and began to hide my order. The young man interrupted me and said simply "fill out the bag." What bag? Oh, there are small sandwich bags on which you write your order and hand it to him. I finally figured that out - it was an unusual mode of operation to be sure - and filled it out. At the very bottom of the bag I checked the box that said "add chips and drink." I filled out two of them identically for each member of our pair, and handed them to him. 3. In return he handed me one drink and turned to put the bags up on the roto for the preparer. I assumed that since it was only one there he'd give me my drink while I waited. 4. Immediately after giving my order about twenty people walked up and formed a queue - probably from a flight that was just deplaning. So he got quite busy. 5. I looked around but couldn't find any chips so I decided just to ask when my order came up. 6. The preparer called out my name and handed me two bags with a sandwich each. I asked "where are the chips? And I still need another drink." She just waved in the direction of the guy at the counter who was pretty swamped. I said "well, he's pretty busy, I just need a couple of bags of chips and my other drink. She called to the fellow and said "he says you only have him one drink." 7. So there with nearly two dozen waiting customers looking on, the fellow begins to argue with me, claiming I hadn't ordered another drink or any chips. After a few seconds of this, I said, you're holding up your customers and it's almost time to board. Forget it. EPILOGUE: horrible service like this including a total lack of attention to detail is what kills a business. I expect to see this spot in Terminal A of Bush Intercontinental vacant at some point in the near future. There are too many options for fast food, or for sandwiches. I won't trouble myself with Which Wich again. read more

Three times they toasted my sandwich anyway despite the big red block letters that says "DO NOT TOAST PLEASE." Got in for my flight to Atlanta and was craving a chicken and bacon sandwich. Unfortunately they didn't have any bacon due to the hurricane and shortage of trucks at the moment. Shae (hope I spelled that right) heard me ask and offered to go to the store next to them and get bacon just to make my sandwich. I stopped here to grab a bite in between connecting flights thinking it would be quick and convenient. Boy was I wrong! I filled out an order paper simply stating that I would like The Double Avocado add gr chicken. Easy enough right? Guess not. By the time I got to the register the cashier did not know how to ring in my order so she requested the help of another woman NAMED ROSIE who told me I needed to step out of line and fill out a "Build Your Own" form instead. Seems like a lot of TIME CONSUMING work when they could have just charged me extra for the grilled chicken. Upon being told this, I turned around to notice the now 20-25 ppl in line behind me. I asked her if she was joking and she said "No". So I gave her back her pen and said "No." right back to her and went next door to Blaze's Pizza where there served me in a polite and timely manner. My breakfast sandwich was very good, however the customer service this morning was absolutely horrible. Bags to order were placed under "Pick up", so I did not see them when I went to order. The cashier and another employee then proceeded to comment how "maybe if we move them in front if their faces they will see them". When I commented that it was deceiving because the bags were on the pick up side, the same girl turned to the cashier and said "I hate when they give you attitude". Been super excited for this to open. Had which which a few times before and the subs are always delicious. Unfortunately, this location is slow as Molasses!! It's an airport, people have places to be. If there was time to relax, I or anyone else, would likely go to a sit down restaurant. Not fast food. 15 minutes for a sub when there was only a single order ahead of mine... These workers have no sense of urgency. I mean, I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt because it's relatively new. But they've for real had enough time to get it together. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time and to our surprise it was nkt what we expected. It is was/is breakfast time and the service was horrible. There were 4 young ladies, one working the register, two preparing the orders and one just standing against the wall whom we assumed is the manager. There obviously was no communication between the staff as the the young lady at the register stated that they only had orange juice. My wife asked her does it have pulp? The lady standing against the wall replied with a slight attitude "We dont have orange juice." We didn't reply to her remark. My wife and I decided not to get anything to drink. As we were waiting on our order. We notice that the young lady standing against the wall began to put gloves on without washing her hands. As she did so, she was struggling to put the gloves on as they were possibly to small. At this point, she began touching the finger tips an pulling on areas of the glove to force it on. After fighting with the gloves and they were completely on her hands. She then went and leaned her butt on the prep table where it literally overlapped the edge of the table and then touched and gripped the edge of the table which was visibly dirty. She then began to assist one of the young lady's with preparing sandwiches due too the line getting long. Mind you, during this entire time she has not washed her hands nkr changed her gloves. So all the germs she picked up went into the stomach of some diner. At this point my wife and I were over the experience and decided that was our first and last time eating at this particular location. Then when we thought it could get no worse. We sat down to eat. As we unwrapped our sandwiches we realized that the sandwiches we ordered were about 3 inches long and filled with more spinach than a side salad at Olive Garden or any other restaurant that you may dine at. My wifes sandwich had literally 1/2 of a strip of bacon when it was supposed to have at least 2-3. I ordered mushrooms as and addition and received literally 3 mushrooms. Being in the professional Food, Beverage, Hospitality and Restaurant Management Industry. This is not what customer service looks like. I am not bashing the workers, but I pray this is a wake-up call for the owner and the IAH Airport that you never know who is walking through your airport and tgat every customer young, old or any financial class known to society pays for a service particular service and should receive that service from open to close. read more

My wife and I stopped at the Which Wich for a quick lunch on the way to catch our flight home on Sunday, October 28. This was our first time eating at a Which Wich. The food was good but nothing to rave about. The real problem was the staff / service. We were treated rudely by the staff there and will never go back. Having never ate there before, we didn't realize we needed to fill out the proper brown bag order form. We stepped up to the ordering station without the order for properly filed out and you'd think we'd violated some TSA rule with the way the person at the register spoke down to us. After receiving our order, I asked the person who handed it to me for a cup of water. I was told "I can't help you, you'll have to get in line at the register". With all the stress and anxiety of travel, the last thing we needed was a bunch of attitude from the workers at the sandwich shop. I recommend getting one of those pre-made sandwiches two booths down. No attitude there. read more
