For tasty food, quick service, and reasonable prices, this is one of the better options available unless you don't like Mexican food... Pappasito's offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their breakfasts include huge, loaded burritos, breakfast platters with scrambled eggs, your choice of bacon or sausage, potatoes and tortillas. Their lunch and dinner options include various tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas, salads, fajita platters, shrimp, chicken, and more. They offer coffee, bottled juice, sodas, bottled water, bottled beer, margaritas, etc. I do wish they had more salsa options. Adding some fresh made salsas would take them up to 5 stars for fast Mexican food. Their food is always served in take-out disposable containers. Order and pay at one end of the counter, then watch the cooks in action while you wait. Your number will be called out when it is ready and you can pick it up at the other end of the counter. Since it is a food court, if you prefer coffee from Starbucks you can go stand in their line. If others in your party want something else, there are other options right there such as Chinese, Italian, salads, BBQ, burgers, etc. Restrooms are located around the corner. Since this is located in an airport food court, the dining room is shared with other restaurants, and can be crowded during peak hours, but I've never not found a table. Pappasito's is one of my favorite eateries in Terminal E.

Love Pappadeaux! Was…read moreleaving Houston and I had a long layover. I usually love to visit the restaurant when I'm in town but unfortunately has no time so I was super excited to try this location in the airport. Took the train over and was promptly sat when I entered. The menu is pretty extensive but I ordered the chicken and shrimp with French fries when a side of the dirty rice. Portions were huge and delicious. I was able to take some home back with me when I was boarding my plan. Even though it's in the airport, the restaurant has a family feel to it. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to come back!

Definitely a cool, relaxed atmosphere, especially for an airport spot. I was seated right away and greeted quickly. I ordered the crawfish étouffée and added a side of catfish. The catfish was really good, seasoned well, crispy, and came with tartar sauce and ketchup. The étouffée was a solid portion with plenty of crawfish and rice. I do think it could've used a little more seasoning, but still a good dish overall. Only downside was the service after ordering, it was a bit hard to get my waitress's attention, and I had to wait to order a coke. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend if you're passing through the airport.
