In order to get a higher rating, Jersey Mike's team needs to pay attention to the orders as people place them. For this order, my husband ordered two giant subs on the app. While there he had to wait quite some time to receive his order and before he left, he mentioned if they had made sure to remove the onions as requested. The response was "if that's how you ordered it then that's how you'll get it". Well that was wrong. Not only did we have onions, they didn't even make the correct sandwich that was on the receipt. A giant sub is almost $20. While I'm writing this, I'm ready to reduce down to two stars because I'm so frustrated about the Customer experience. It's going to be a long while before we put this sub shop back on rotation.

I immediately went back to the door to have it fixed, but was completely ignored by employees inside, even though they could clearly see me. I ended up wasting $30 on food I couldn't eat. Being close to closing time does not excuse this level of service, food quality, or refusal to address a mistake.

While they were making our sandwiches we chatted with the owners a bit and they seem like really nice, down-to-earth people. The told us how some of the menu options got their names and a little history of the business. It's really nice to to be able to chat with the owners. It wasn't long before our food was ready. My wife had, basically, a Rueben minus the sauerkraut (I hate that stuff) and a bag of chips. We both got a bottle of water. Our total was about $38. I've seen a number of reviewers comment on the cost of their meals. We had no complaints at all. They're serving Boar's Head meats, which a higher class/higher quality than most restaurants go near. You're also paying for locally, home made foods. I'm willing to bet that not a single food item came ready-made out of a jug or a box that came from Gordon's food. This is genuine food made with care and pride by the owners themselves. There's a small seating are behind the counter area and a much larger seating area outside, but the weather wasn't suited for such chicanery. We REALLY enjoyed our first visit to Boone's Deli. I think they've got a great product and I hope they stay around a long time.

It's the Little Yellow House that is so quaint. The Owner is Susan Woodward, and she is such a hard worker! Donna, our Server was fantastic! She answered every question, knew everything about every sandwich, every soup and every dessert. She had the fastest assistants that brought us our drinks and kept our glasses filled and delivered our food. Their menu is very well laid out and full of the most amazing lunches. I didn't need to go past the Hot Brown! My husband and I both ordered Hot Browns. This is our very favorite item! It was delicious. There was a lot of tender turkey, covered with the best tasting Mornay Sauce and topped with beautiful tomatoes. I'm sorry there wasn't enough room to get up and take pictures of everyone's food. I did get a picture of our Hot Brown and our friend's Meatloaf and Chili. You'll just need to stop by and have hunch with them. And don't forget to check out their desserts.
