Great new sandwich shop in the Westwood area! I went this afternoon for lunch during their grand opening. It was my first time inside a which wich. For anyone who hasn't been there before you walk in and there are sandwich bags lined up on the wall organized according to the meat you want on sandwich. Pick your bag which lists all the possible toppings you can have. It's completely customizable. They also have salads, vegetarian options and milk shakes! When you're ready give your order over to the cashier to check out. They'll say you're name when your order is up. There's a few tables available if you'd like to dine in or you can take out. It was unclear which size to order, so I ordered the large sandwich not realizing that it was a catering sized sub that could feed four (with a price to match). This normally wouldn't be a big deal as leftovers are wonderful, but the sauce I ordered was left off and I found it tasted rather dull. The bread was a stale tasting traditional sub roll. The ingredients to choose from were nothing special, and I didn't really enjoy eating it. Cool ordering system, but I won't be back. read more

This was one of the worst sandwhcihes I have ever had. Ordering was confusing and farm more difficult than it needed to be, on top of that the San which was subway quality between two pieces of dry cardboard. Lastly, it was not cheap. Would not recommend. read more

WOW. This is one of my absolute favorite places to get a sub. The very first time you go here it does take a minute to figure out how you even order, but the staff here were very helpful and by the second trip you're a pro. The subs and salads taste amazing and the workers are fast. They also kept the place open late for me one night after I left the gym (Lifetime is right around the corner) and that definitely scored some bonus points with me. Just tried them for the first time after ordering delivery through Foodler. Food arrived over an hour after ordering. There were two people on the order, including myself. The other person ordered a salad, which was tiny and came with the incorrect dressing. I ordered a Turkey Reuben Wich (and was careful to select the regular option, as opposed to a "bowl wich" or "lettuce wich." What I received was some cold soggy turkey with my cheese and dressing selection (and no sauerkraut, despite the fact that it's called a reuben...), all of which was wrapped in water-logged lettuce and no bread. Great food and pretty great service. But it's absolute insanity that this place closes at 8pm!! Not only that, but google says they close at 9pm (I'm not sure where the fault lies with that), so you could be looking forward to a yummy sandwich at 7:55 and be quite disappointed when the doors are locked. People still eat dinner at 8! read more

Absolutely terrible. This is the only place I have ever been compelled to write a review about. It took forever to make the sandwich compared to other similar restaurants, and the quality of the food left much to be desired. They did not put about half of the things that I asked for on my sandwich, despite it being filled in on the bag by me. One would think that having the customer write the order would make it nearly impossible to get the order wrong, but I guess not. The food itself was decent at best, and very overpriced for what it was. No reason to come here, there are much better options in close proximity. read more

First time even hearing of this chain and have been pleasantly surprised. It was a little overwhelming walking in, but the staff was very attentive and explained the process. I had the thank you turkey and it was one of the better thanksgiving sandwiches I've had. It's a little similar to a subway or chipotle, but food is much better quality. Loved this place! All the ingredients were fresh and there was a great selection - you could get pretty much anything you want. The woman behind the counter explains the ordering process to you right away, because it can be confusing, and she was so nice and helpful! Great sandwiches. Friendly staff. Always clean even when it's busy. I love their Philly cheesesteak sandwich and their sriracha tuna sandwich! My daughter loves their grilled cheese kids meal that comes with apple slices and carrot sticks. The kids meals also come with a token which you can redeem at a candy dispenser for a big handful of yellow M&Ms! read more

I wish there was a shop closer to me. I recently discovered this while shopping. Cute gimmick, with the bags and the ordering. But the sandwhiches were out if this world. I had the caprese my friend had the roast beef. We couldn't stop raving about them especially the rolls. Wonderful delicate toasting. We will be back very soon. read more

Most expensive subway sandwich I have ever bought. $18.46 for a large sandwich and a small bag of cool ranch Doritos. I got a large cordon blue sandwich with double meat(I would hate to see what regular meat looks like ) and some veggies. Sandwich was ok at best kinda messy lots of vegetables where falling out, Doritos where the best part! I probably will not go back here unless Wegmans is packed a Wegmans sub is much cheaper and more flavourful and filling. The staff was friendly and the way you order is a cool concept but I wouldn't say it is worth the price. read more

This was our last second stop on the way to an event in Westwood. We were in a rush. There were three of us, all vegetarian, two vegan. I got the avocado sandwich and the other vegan got the black bean patty one. It said on the menu the black bean one was fully vegan, but it had mayo, so I asked, and a few minutes later, the guy came back and said it wasn't vegan. They should really edit that. Jalepeños were put in inatead upon request. All the food was great and yummy. Would definitely go if nearby, but would not drive an hour there just to eat. read more

I work two doors down in University Station, and I've been here at least 15 times in the last 3 weeks..no joke. The sandwiches are awesome, and they have great variety. I love that you can customize the sandwich to exactly what you want. I've referred a ton of people over for lunch and everyone always comes back raving about how good they are. My picky father in law who never likes anything even loved them. That staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them. read more

In general I have visited this site a dozen or so times in the last few months and for the most part been satisfied so prior to this visit I was a satisfied customer. However I believe this site has new management and though I have only been there twice I normally would not make a rash judgment. But on my 2nd trip after they did not give me reward points on the first trip and the 2nd trip I was a bit annoyed, especially when they did not say just keep the receipt and we'll add to your account at a later time. Maybe they do not plan on giving or redeeming points because I tried to redeem my points the 2nd trip but again they said they are not equipped to handle it...yet. No big deal, I was going to keep my receipts and maybe get credit but since they did not say to do it I hoped maybe that in the future I could catch up and get what I was "promised". This actually has nothing to do with what transpired but wanted to mention it anyway. I ordered a 10" sub and when I received it the size which always extends outside the bag was well inside the bag so I opened it to look and it certainly appeared as it was not a 10" sub so I walked to the register to ask the man who made it if he mistakenly made a 7" sub but he said no it was a 10" and I said it really did not look like one and blah blah, we had a conversation that was not accusatory or disrespectful back and forth and he apologized and said what would I like done and I just said if you are sure this is 10" then there is nothing to do. I asked if they measure and they said yes but never took it and put it on the counter to check just said it was 10" and I said ok. I left and was going back to work as my 30 minute lunch was close to being over but could not leave the parking lot without knowing. I went across and bought a tape measure and lo and behold it was 7". I returned to the store now as my lunch period was past my allotted time because it was now bothering me a lot he had lied and when I walked in I told him I want my money back as it is 7", as I measured it and the boss just returned so he handed him to me. I opened the paper and showed him my sandwich and asked, how big is this? Without knowing what I wanted or why I asked he simply said, that is our 7" sandwich. I told him a small bit but told him I was way over my lunch time and wanted my money back, I would never return to this store and now I will get no lunch since it was used up by this stores incompetence. He apologized and gave me my money back and that was it. As I drove home I thought how ignorant for him to not even offer me the sandwich, as it probably would be thrown away, for my troubles knowing I was not going to eat lunch that day because of his crew. Anyway, I feel better venting and I may have wasted my time but until I find a place online to place this complaint I wanted to start here. Have a Merry Christmas. read more

Very slow. Ordering is confusing. Small waiting/sitting area with dirty tables. The sandwich was OK but overpriced for what it was. If you have an hour for lunch you probably won't make it back to work in time, that's how long it takes to make a sandwich here. read more

Nothing special. Bland deli meats, but good selection of toppings and sauces. The sub rolls are pretty good too. But not worth the money. I can make much better subs at home for much less! The Oreo shake was my favorite part. read more

First time here and last 45 min for a sub and after that much waiting the sub was missing most of the staff I asked for it was no busy the time I went and I was hopping to get fast service and good food orever I went back to complainte they told me I have to wait because the manager was in brake really no thanks guys read more

Great start! I am a big fan of the location in Chestnut Hill and have been waiting eagerly for a location nearby to open up. So far, it's very much in it's infancy, but the people have been very kind and the food was made with no problems. I look forward to frequenting this location in the future. read more

University Ave was lacking a sub/sandwich place, but this is not a good option. Maybe it was my mistake to try the cheesesteak, which was lackluster in comparison to any neighborhood pizza place around town. It was also small for the $8 price tag and had a slightly off, artificial smoke flavor. There is little room to sit or wait, and boy did I wait...25 minutes from order to food at lunchtime. They somehow managed to produce a bland cookie, too. It fills a niche in this shopping center, but I wouldn't go back. read more
