I must confess, I never had a macaroon before I stopped here last week. Excited to try one or two. Alas they didn't have many flavors to choose from. Only five, chocolate, crème brûlée, coconut, biscoff, and mocha. So I select three, one each of chocolate, crème brûlée and biscoff. Looking up and staring at me was a chocolate peanut butter cupcake so I included it also. It is set up more as a coffee shop than a bakery. Lots of tables and seats. There is really only one bakery display with everything inside The staff was pleasant so no complaints there. There pricing is....well, pricey. $3.50 per macaroon,and I believe the cupcake was $4.50 Once home the cupcake container didn't hold up very well. Cupcake was smashed. Each macaroon was individually wrapped so they were okay. I enjoyed the macaroons as each was tasty and not overly sweet. The cupcake was good too. But none of it wowed me enough to go back and spend that kind of money on treats. read more

Blueberry cake was EXACTLTY what I needed for my husband's birthday celebration. Only blueberries, yellow cake and whipped cream... nothing else... just simple perfection! He said the blueberries were devine. The cake was moist and flavorful and the whole cake was balanced and not overly sweet. I contacted a few other "asian" bakeries because we prefer less sweet cakes, but the others only offered blueberry yogurt cake. Whipped Bakery had both choices... blueberry yogurt and plain blueberry,which apparently,some of the other bakeries have stopped offering. Thanks for making this special occassion a memorable one. There're indoor seatings and shared outdoor picnic benches to pick. With lil nephs, they ran for the picnic benches lol While they played, we adults gleefully indulged in their uber light pastries. The fluffy airy whipped cream frosting made the cupcakes easy to down. That pine lime cupcake (fave) was tangy-zingy. Order this if you're a fan of acidic citrusy flavors (raising hands here). btw, carrot cake and tiramisu flavors will be my next purchases fo' sho. My matcha latte w/oat milk was hecka strong and that's what we expect from korean cafe-like joints. Yes. And thanks for offering oat milk. I really can't rate them on their product yet... But their customer service is excellent. I was trying to find a bakery that could put together a cake for me over the weekend for pick up on Monday. The young lady who helped me on the phone and went to her supervisor to ask some questions was more than helpful. I even texted the baker who happen to be offsite at that time-it was near closing on a Thursday night. Sadly it didn't work out this time but the next time I need a cake for an occasion I will definitely try them again. I now know that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This beautiful tiramisu cake from Whipped bakery was absolutely heavenly. Very light, not to sweet, delicate texture with a delightful coffee flavor. Going forward, any time a celebration calls for a cake we will definitely purchase it from Whipped. The only downside is it is almost impossible not to eat the whole thing in a single sitting. Ordered a customized cake for a milestone birthday as this place came highly recommended. But THAT was a terrible mistake & will not repeat. The cake had Black icing as it was the theme, the black dye used for the icing was way too strong, which left the birthday boy and many of our guests with stained black lips, face, fingers, clothing and everything the icing touched, due to which the rest of our guests refused to eat the cake, which was quite embarrassing for us. For a cake that was just mediocre , to have paid a premium and not have enjoyed as expected has left me disappointed with this order. I called the bakery & also emailed the owners to give my feedback, but as irresponsible as it may seem, till date there is no acknowledgement or any courtesy from them, makes me feel cheated as well. read more

Cute concept but the place is a little dingy with stains on seats, dirty tables and mediocre baked goods. We live around the corner and wish it was a place where you got what you paid for so that it could be a place we frequent but everything from the earl grey créme brûlée (came with sugar water on top) to the french canelle (overcooked with a burnt exterior) I was so excited for let me down. My daughter has ordered some cupcakes there because they looked pretty but has never felt they were good enough to finish. Lattes were average and probably the best thing there. Such a great little bakery and coffee shop! Our family has tried several things from here, and everything has been so delicious. They even have lately been making fresh pies for holidays which has been awesome. The owners and staff are amazingly kind people, and this has slowly become a go-to spot due both to them and the quality of the food and drinks we get. So we decided to give this one a try. I really liked their Tiramisu cupcake which was so soft, love the coffee bean topping which was crunchy and fresh. Their black forest was fresh and spongy. I was ready to scrape most that frosting off because I know...I'm crazy and hate over sweet frosting...but...it's a whipped topping and it has real cherry bits and juice in it! I custom ordered a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday about a week ago. I prepaid. We even purchased a couple items that we ate that night that were delicious. Fast forward to yesterday, my daughter goes to the bakery to pick up her cake and they sold it someone else!! And!! For cheaper!! They said they were so sorry and that even though they were closed the next day, Sunday, today, they would make it right. My daughter just called me with all her friends in the car in the parking lot of the bakery to say no one was there, doors are locked, and no one is answering the phone. This place has one of the best desserts I've ever had. The fatcarons are soooo good. I'm sad that it's so far for me to get there but I would make the trip if I'm in the Austin area. The buttercream is so smooth and compliments the shell very well as the shell is typically very sweet. I can confidently say that Whipped offers some of the best Fatcarons that I've tried and also the cutest:) I would say my favorite is the Honey Lavender flavor which has a Lavender cream filling with a dollop of honey in the center making it the perfect bite. The texture is also AMAZING because the shells are cooked to perfection and the filling is very smooth, creamy, and not too overwhelmingly sweet. The frosting wasn't too sweet and the cake was very light. The online order form was easy to navigate as well. I ordered the cake for a 9am pick up. I arrived at 10 am due to a traffic delay and when I arrived it took them a few minutes to find the cake and they let us know the writing hadn't been done and they needed 10 minutes to get this done, prompting us to take a seat. My experience here was pretty bad. I bought 4 cookies (choco chip & white chip) and a Matcha Green Tea Latte. The cookies were so dry it was like eating choco chips & nuts mixed in Flour; other than the taste of the chips, the cookies really have no flavor at all. While they are generous with the chips, the price of one cookie clearly buys a Baker's Bag of Choco chips at any grocery Store. I am really feeling a bit offended by having paid such an exorbitant amount for each cookie for such subpar quality and taste. It would be one thing if these cookies were fairly priced and just not very good, or over priced and out of this world, but to be over priced and really bad is kind of insulting.
