Hot Air Balloon theme with macaroons and cake pops!

How does Whisked only have 4 reviews?! I was in touch with Jasmine and I ordered desserts (a 2 tiered cake, macaroons, cake pops, and cupcakes) from Whisked for my son's first birthday event and I need to say it DID NOT disappoint! I only had a chance to eat the cake and it was DELICIOUS! It wasn't overly sweet, it was just perfect! I would highly recommend and I would love to place my cake orders from Whisked going forward for any occasion I need! Thank you, Jasmine!!

Light, silky, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor without feeling too sweet. I also tried the raspberry chocolate pastry which was beautifully executed with raspberry compote and chocolate mousse, but I'm just very particular about chocolate-forward desserts. The iced vanilla latte was the perfect balance alongside the pastries, and I ended up leaving with a handful of macarons that were honestly addictive. Every flavor was delicious. Love the outdoor seating too. Perfect spot to slow down for a minute, enjoy a coffee, and have a really elevated pastry experience.

Their New York rolls were full, rich, flaky, and flavorful. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has gone completely downhill. The croissants are now dry, overcooked, and tasteless , even early in the morning. It honestly feels like they changed the butter because the flavor is gone. The pastries look beautiful for Instagram, but the taste no longer matches the image. People probably come for the terrace and the "Paris" aesthetic, but nothing about these pastries feels authentically French anymore. The owner is Iranian and honestly should stick to Iranian pastries instead of trying to market this place as a French pâtisserie, because it is nowhere close to the quality or refinement of a real French pastry shop. On top of that, customer service is terrible. The employees are rude, impatient, and act bothered when you ask simple questions like the price of a croissants ; especially since prices are not clearly displayed. Paying almost $7 for a croissant or New York roll, and $10+ for many pastries, would maybe be acceptable with excellent quality and service... but definitely not with dry pastries and rude staff. Parking is another nightmare. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to park on San Fernando, pay for parking, and parking enforcement is constantly circling waiting to ticket people the second your time expires. This was my last visit. Save your money and go elsewhere for pastries -- honestly, even Whole Foods does better at this point.

Sure enough, we were seated right away. My daughter and I love the Portobello fries for a starter. They are so delicious and crispy, and the dipping sauce pairs perfect. For our meal we decided to share a Cesar salad and a pizza. For dessert we actually wanted the CHOCOLATE FRAMBOISE but they were all out. They actually were out of quite a bit of their pastries. The whole pastry counter was completely empty. I asked the server why it was empty and he mentioned they sold out due to graduation season. I decided on the crème brûlée and my daughter ordered chocolate gelato. We enjoyed our dessert. As for the ambiance, if you're looking for a romantic quiet restaurant for dinner. Bottega Louie is not for you. It is a loud up beat restaurant. I personally enjoy it. They have a person making the pizza towards the back and this night a table of guests were cheering him on as he threw the pizza dough up in the air multiple times. So fun to watch! The chefs are also cooking your food with a clear glass around them so you can watch as they prepare the food. Definitely recommend!!

My friend and I finally decided on the pepperoni pizza, the Brussel sprouts, and the Belgian waffle. The pizza was so delicious; it was evidently fresh, made with fresh mozzarella and tomato. The crust was perfectly cooked and crunchy! We were very impressed with the Brussel sprouts. They came mixed with candied walnuts, which was definitely my favorite part about this whole meal. We ate the Belgian waffle last. I thought it would have been too dense or soggy by the end of our meal. It ended up being completely perfect. The only thing I wish was that we had more of that wonderful vanilla whipped cream and fresh seasonal berries. I brought my bff here as a graduation gift. We left with full stomachs and very happy. I loved the decor and elegance of the restaurant. We will return to try the pastries next!!

The cheapest and simplest one is the Portuguese egg tart and the more fancy ones are either $1.75 or $2. I tried all of them: Portuguese egg tart, cheese tart, caramel croissant tart, tiramisu tart, berry tart, and coconut tart (my favorite). We also got the salted egg yolk croissant for only $1 which is a steal although I wish it was a tad bit sweeter to balance out the salt. It was a smooth process to go in and buy. They also have a variety of specialty desserts that are in the $8 price range if you want something more extravagant. I tried the King Panda which was filled with cream cheese mousse. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but more of the latter. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed but we managed to snag a seat.

Out the of the 4 items, tiramisu stood out the most. It has a strong cacao flavor, not overly sweet and heavy. The caramel egg tart is just alright, it is flaky if you eat it warm or toast it again at home. The regular egg tart is 99 cents, it's not bad but definitely not amazing. I think you can't expect too much with that price. The osmanthus pear cheesecake was my least favorite. It is very sweet and heavy, the filling/syrup that they use is too overwhelming. The store was simple and you can smell the baked goods as you walked in to the store. The service was just average, the staff were not very welcoming. Parking could be a problem. Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5, not a must go place. Their items are just average. If you are looking for something affordability over quality and taste then this is the place to go.

I couldn't do their window kiosk. I tried and couldn't do it. I go to the store in Beverly Hills. However this review is not about the store in Beverly Hills. Anyway, I needed a birthday present. I was going to my Favorite chocolatier at a different location. However, at the time I had to consider the heat. Since we were going to be celebrating outside. I also didn't have time to fight the traffic to Beverly Hills. So, I put on my big boy pants and went for the plunge. The associate was pleasant and willing to answer my questions. I told him I shop the B.H. Store. He comforted me that in the macaroons are no different than the B.H. And my loyalty will work here as well. Ladurée at The Americana in Glendale is a little pocket of elegance tucked into the heart of a busy shopping district. Whether you're looking to treat yourself or give as a gift. These macarons are worth every penny and yes it's going to almost 400 pennies to buy one macaron. These are best macarons in the world. They are actually imported from Paris France. Of course, the macarons are the star here, and they absolutely live up to the hype. Delicate, crisp shells with soft, flavorful fillings--each bite is rich but never overwhelming. The classic flavors like pistachio, rose, and vanilla are consistently excellent. Pro Tip: freeze them if you're not going to eat them in 48 hrs. It will keep them crispy and moist when ready to eat. Will I get my macaroons here again. More than likely not. I still prefer the B.H. Location. Why, I enjoy looking at all the macarons and other goodies available. And I always come out with more than macarons. Where as the Glendale location you can only get macarons.

It would be great if the price and macaron quantity of each box was listed to quicken the order process.
