The Eifel tower full of cats!

This is a truly magic place. No, there is food to eat, but you are getting great experience talking to people there and giving your attention to our furry friends. Love them all!

Came here back in May and since this is the first cat cafe I've been to in Philly, it didn't disappoint! If you think one hour is enough, that one hour will pass by quickly because there are many cute cats to interact with here! There's an area by the door where some cats nap, there's also cat towers, and even shelving along the wall for cats to run around! There are also tables for guests to sit at and light refreshments too. Overall, the atmosphere is really relaxed and many cat personalities are present. Some cats will approach you, some are just napping, others are ready to play, and some just want to do their own thing. All of the cats are adoptable too! I'd definitely come by just to visit and spend some time with some of these cute cats!

Excited to check this place out and play with the cats. Cost $15 per person to reserve for 1 hour. It's not much of a cafe with specialty drinks, but they offer you Keurig coffee or tea that you can make inside. You are able to apply and adopt any of the cats. I assumed when you reserved the hour that it would have been more private session or less people, but there was at least 12+ people in the same hour we reserved. The cats seemed very overstimulated with the amount of people there. Most of the cats I tried to interact with either hissed or didn't want to play. I did get scratched by one and bit so I was intimated to interact with the rest of the cats. Staff offers you treats to feed the cats while you interact with them. There are toys available for you to use to interact with them as well.

I would've never known a cat cafe existed until someone told me about it. This is a nice spot to check out if you want something to do and like or tolerate cats. You have the option to stay for 30 or 60 minutes. There's a section that has coffee and tea. The cats here have different personalities like humans and it's pretty comfortable here with seats and tables. I think they have board game nights. You can adopt a cat permanently or foster cats temporarily. They staff was friendly and informative.

    Sleepy cat vibes.

My daughter and I went here to visit and it was great to see and spend time with the cats. Tbh, it's $15 for 1 hour and the coffee or tea you get is just Keurig type so it's definitely pricey but a cool experience overall. It's a good organization that helps find homes for cats.

Many places for the cats to sit or hide

Absolutely loved my visit here for my first time at a cat cafe! The process was very simple - reserve an hour (or more) slot online beforehand ($15/hr) for non members & includes coffee if you want, sign a waiver beforehand, and read house rules. The cats were almost all very playful, and you can tell the place really cared about their cats at least from talking to the employee who was there at the time of our visit. He shared stories of the cats, especially one very sweet shy one they nurtured from hiding in their basement to being upstairs and comfortable with humans. There were even cat treats there you can use to feed them! Would definitely return to visit.

Super cute place! Our Host was very welcoming and I'm sure if we had asked questions they would have been more than willing to answer any. The cats are all adorable and I can only hope they all become adopted. This was part of my child's 16th birthday gift and they told me afterwards that they had a blast. Very chill and laid back spot to sit, have some tea and play with cats. Easy to find. Clean! HIGHLY Recommend

For $15 an hour, you can spend your time with some of the cutest little cats. Theyre all rescues and can be adopted if you decide that is something you want fo do. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There is also coffee, free wifi, and chargers in case you might need it. Would highly recommend to all cat lovers! You can also learn more about all of the cats there on their website at https://lecatcafe.org/meet-the-cats/

Then you need to make sure they're enjoying doing it. Lastly, you need it done right. It's a skill. Philabundance clearly understands this and has the entire process mastered - from check in to departure. I arrived to work with a group of colleagues from my company. The volunteers have their own parking spaces and their own sign in and waiting area. Cleverly they have these little kiosk things that allow you to use your credit card and make an instant donation that adds to a total for your group. Nice. Tables, chairs, clear lockers for storing personal goods, heavy coats along one wall for those working in the refrigerated area. We had a brief orientation where they talked about the mission of Philabundance, then we were split into two projects. I was on a project making up food boxes for elderly people in need. They reviewed what each of us did and we were off. The boxes came along a conveyer belt and we all had stations. I kept thinking of the "I Love Lucy" episode and smiled to myself. We worked a total of 3 1/2 hours with a 20 minute break halfway through. We made up our goal of boxes - 600 - and helped the other team package pints of milk in the cooler area when we were done. Group photo on the way out, and we were leaving feeling accomplished and happy. They were professional, friendly and very organized. Impressed.

I was able to take a little over 24 hours in this serene home to meditate, walk, read and sit with Sister Maria for an hour of spiritual direction which felt like cool water. Whatever your faith or place in this world this home and center opens its doors for quiet and discernment. Sister Maria explained that the history of the house has always been for justice and discernment so there is a rich legacy on these grounds from those who were here before. There is also a quiet beautiful cemetery nearby for long walks and quiet reflection. The room I stayed in had big windows and natural light poured in during the day. I am already planning my next silent meditation retreat. (The center also offers big beautiful rental spaces for gathering. ) Thank you for the love, Cranaleith!

I highly recommend it to anyone desiring a break from worldly cares to rest and rejuvenate. The site is easily reached by commuter train from Philadelphia and the house has an interesting history as host to suffragettes like Susan B. Anthony.
