Always goofy fun and worth the experience. Custom hats, big drinks, goofy food. Laughs for days

This was our second time at Dick's Last Resort in Vegas, so we know the vibe of the restaurant. We had a fun server, and in true Dick's form, he was inappropriate and mostly fun. A huge plus for him was how much he engaged with our blind daughter. He was fun with her, but seemed to want to connect so he could include her in the experience. The downside was the food. We already knew before coming to Dick's this is a "bar food" place-we did not expect any fancy food. Just like the rest of Vegas the food is extremely overpriced. But Dick's took this to entirely new level: a SIDE of steamed broccoli was $8.99 and it had four florets of broccoli in a small side bowl. The side of fries had probably less fries than a McDs large fry and that $8.99. I wish our server had had the courtesy to advise when I ordered the broccoli as my meal that it was very, very small and maybe not worth it. That was really just not cool. Additionally, like many other places in Vegas (from what we read before our trip), there is a random service fee-not gratuity, a fee, which is added on automatically. Dick's is fun if you are not sensitive and enjoy some slightly raunchy vibes...but if you're actually there to eat, hard pass. Definitely not worth the high cost of the menu items versus what you get and the quality.

Don't come here if you are a sensitive person this place is not for pus*ys lol! They can be are rude, crude and dicks BUT that is the point of this place. We had a blast BSing with the bartender. We got the $5 margarita special it was so good. I highly recommend this gem in downtown Las Vegas. We will come back here when we are in town to grab a bite next time their food looked so good.

Dick's Last Resort was a hilarious lunch! READ WHY BELOW Not only did we get fun hats made for us by the waiters but they gave the best (I don't care about you service) that was so funny I'm so glad we joined in on that experience of being joked around and made fun of it was wonderful! You gotta know how to take a joke when going to Dicks Resort! We tried the Sampler Platter and it was delicious even though they ran out of fried pickles:( the spiked iced tea was refreshing and came along with a souvenir glass. Super great times!! The ambience is a good time!

My mom thought this was funny.

We stayed at the Excalibur, and every time we came here to get a table, the wait was over an hour. Finally, we came at shift change, and we had our opening. It's really obvious that Dick's leans a lot on the rudeness of their servers as part of the attraction. When the waiter brought the napkins, he threw them, like a ticker tape parade of napkins. Funny. And, they realize not everyone is into the game. They will happily provide an insulting paper hat if you want, but they won't shame you if you don't. My mom is 80, and she wanted a hat. She thought it was funny that they put "Titanic Survivor" on the hat. But, really, we came here for the food. The food arrived cold. Was that part of the rudeness? Probably not. My $18 burger was plain, and the fries were merely okay. My mom was surprised that the mac and cheese was spicy. I didn't think it was that spicy, but a watery plate of $20 mac and cheese was not fun. It became clear that this was not anything to do with some rudeness related schtick, but rather simply that they don't serve good food. That is, with one very notable exception. The ribs were phenomenally good. These were flat out some of the best ribs I've ever had anywhere. They were meaty and flavorful, and the barbecue sauce had a smokiness to it that was just right. Fortunately, my wife was willing to share, otherwise it would've been an expensive, disappointing meal for all of us. My mom also wanted water, and she was told they didn't have tapwater. We've been to several places in Las Vegas on this trip, including places this hotel, and they did have tapwater. It was obvious they wanted to squeeze a few dollars out of her for bottled water. The service was reasonably good, too. I can definitely see coming here if you have a birthday party or some other event where people are willing to have silly, wacky things happen to them. The prices are steep, and I certainly wouldn't come here again for anything other than the ribs.

Service is great... lol. I came there thinking they were going to be rude RUDE but they were pretty nice, just sarcastic and talks back to you when you ask for something. Actually really fun! I loved their remarks. Food was way better than I thought as well. I got the BBQ Combo platter(?) comes with a side and a steak which comes with 2 sides. It was enough for a table of 4 for lunch and we havent had breakfast before either. I recommend the frys and ask them to be Extra Well Done. its really good! The Cole Slaw was mid and but the mashed red potato is great as well. So food wise 8/10. Ambiance is like a surf shack or something. Very tropical aloha and they have people sticking dollar bills everywhere. Also, you get hats as well that insult you lol, which is the theme of the restaurant so I'd say its great!

We had a great time at Dicks! Our server was absolutely hilarious. The old bay wings are sooooo good! Fries are perfectly cooked. The kids meals come with a frisbee for free so that was really nice. If you get the mason jar drinks they're great in giving you a cup to finish your drink and be able to walk on Fremont street still. If you want a good salad for dinner the chicken Cesar isn't a bad option. Decent portion and delicious! The receipt will have you filled with laughter. Beware to not be a Karen here

This restaurant/bar known as "Dick's" can be found to the left (if coming down) or right (if going up) of the stairs/escalator to the 2nd floor inside the Excalibur. ***WARNING*** DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CAN NOT HANDLE SARCASM, RUDENESS OR THE LIKE. Now, if you like a little fun in your life, head on down to Dick's, you will not be disappointed! I always come to the side (to-go) bar when I'm in Vegas and its been years since I've eaten inside. 1st time was a girls trip and what fond memories I have!!! Came with the inlaws and took them here, we came for breakfast. Mind you they loved it, it was just a basic breakfast. I do not remember the food being all that spectacular BUT you come for the entertainment and my oh my the drinks!!! The best daquari and margaritas in my opinion for a fraction of what you pay at Fat Tuesday! They absolutely loved it! The banter was hilarious to say the least! Watching others enjoy the sarcastic waiters was hilarious and reading the dunce hats.. yes thats right you get your very own dunce cap to-go! We had a cherry-lime tower daquari... amazing!!! Also ordered a surprise drink... was given a Moonshine Tea (I believe) oh soo soo sooo good! Unfortunately the bartender for the frozen drinks didn't show up today, so the other bartender was doing the job of 2 people. We were able to get our food and drinks in a reasonable amount of time...considering we came around 10:45am... breakfast/lunch rush. They definitely want to return and bring other friends and family members here. I, of course, will continue purchasing my drinks from Dick's everytime I'm in Vegas. I raise my glass to those Dick's!

    If only they knew.

First time trying this place after seeing so many YouTube videos about it. Overall experience was excellent, love the gentleman in the front desk, lots of humor. Love the waitress, Kala was awesome. I am going to break down the review. Restroom - it was messy and overflowing with paper towels. This was the first area I went to, the toilet stalls were spacious and quiet. The floor was clean and the sinks have ample soup. The Dining area - huge area with tables, very active, and did not disappoint with the setting. Whatever was trash was constantly swept up and the floor was clean. Food - my friend had chili cheese fries and it was a decent size. It filled him up. I ordered the BBQ combo which consist of pulled pork, wings and drums, tater tots, and ribs. The pulled pork were delicious, a perfect balance of fat and meat. The wings and drums were good, the chicken was well done and tender. The tater tots were nice and crispy. The ribs were decent, I like the taste, however a tiny bit dry, good balance of lean meat and fat. It came with a giant Coke Zero and it was satisfying. The service : they were rude as hell but that was what I was expecting. Rude and funny. I would definitely go back again and I hope I get the same server. Overall, very spacious restroom, well ventilated, clean except for some stains in the bowl. Service and food was excellent, no complains.

Was not prepared for the snark on my way through to the MGM and loved every second of it. Good drink made by some shithead mascochsitioc bartender, served with a side order of sarcasm. Feel free to take the $2 we left taped to the bar.

Came for breakfast. Service was great! Our waiter was funny. He made us laugh a lot. Place was clean. The food, eh. I definitely don't think my breakfast was worth $16. I got the buttermilk pancakes, bacon and eggs. I ordered this cause I love fluffy buttermilk pancakes! These pancakes were flat, thin, and small. Would not recommend. The eggs and bacon were just ok. Nothing special. My son had the cheeseburger and said it was real tasty and good.

Worst service ever!!...but I think that's the point. If I'm being honest, you should visit this place for the bad service. It's pretty hilarious. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre as well. This is going to be a weird, bizarro-world review but you should go for the bad service despite the food. I guess the chicken strips were OK, but the wings were pretty dry and it tasted like they just tossed them in straight Frank's Red-Hot sauce rather than using that as a base for an actual signature sauce. That's always a fast way to lose me. My friends who had been here warned me about the food but said the rest of it is hilarious. I really only visited because I had a Groupon but I would actually go back with certain family and friends just to enjoy watching them get roasted by the servers. Our crappy server did a great job of being the roast-master, and I guess he got our mediocre food to us pretty efficiently and kept our drinks full. Since food is my deal, it's hard to give a good review to a place that serves food and needs to up their game but like I said, with this place, it's about the experience

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

They absolutely lived up to the hype! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, and the quality matched the elevated experience from start to finish. The ambiance is what really takes this place to another level. It's glamorous, romantic, moody, and luxurious without feeling like a gimmicky reality TV tourist attraction. Drinks are strong, free little water bottles (this was a nice touch to keep us all hydrated as we hung out until late), and handled our large (80+) person group admirably. They have a number of seating spaces with plush, couch-like seats downstairs, and lots of crystals and mirrors to reflect. Open to the casino so you can see the folks gambling and enjoying the space. At least they had enough bartenders, so that was good, too! Glass staircase down to the first floor. We didn't try any food (not even sure if they had a food menu?) , but I see notes about a secret pizza place? I'll have to try it again the next time.

On another note- sadly- drunk people are extremely rude and mouthy and try to take away from the show but Kent handled it superbly. It was the integrity behind every moment. Before the séance began, Kent took the time to explain the experience, set thoughtful expectations, and acknowledge the emotional weight of what some audience members might feel. That level of care is incredibly rare. It was clear he wasn't trying to manipulate emotions or convince anyone of anything. Instead, he created a space where curiosity, wonder, and respect could exist together. His passion for his craft is unmistakable, but it's his character that makes the show unforgettable. In a city known for spectacle, Kent reminded me that the most powerful performances come from authenticity. I left feeling more than entertained. I left genuinely moved. If you're looking for an experience that makes you think, feel, and reflect long after the show ends, this is it. I'll absolutely be back.

We had so much fun we went back on Sunday night just expecting good energy and live music. We coincidentally made friends in line and the bouncer asked if we wanted a table that would allow us to cut to the front of the line. Minimum was $500 and there were 5 of us so we said yes. To our surprise Bruno came out again!!! No one ever knows when or if he will be there and we were lucky enough to see him 2 nights in a row, and made friends along the way. It was truly a magical experience, Bruno was the cherry on top but even without him making a suprise performance, Pinky Ring is still such a unique vibe I think everyone who visits Vegas should experience. I have no photos to post, just as intended :) The security was very strict about no photos. We were so impressed how well they caught every person, shining lasers at their camera and spotlighting them then escorting them out. Don't be that person, they will catch you and kick you out and make you delete any photos or videos (even from recently deleted, I asked). Just enjoy the experience with the people around you. No one else has to see photos to believe you, and even if they did they would not fully understand the vibe and experience because they weren't there. If you made it to the end of this review, I hope you make an effort to visit Pinky Ring, you might get lucky!!

Note that it is significantly less expensive to go on a Sunday or M-W than a Thurs/Fri/Sat would be... When I was there, they were very strict about their no photos policy. A few people in the club took their phones out on occasion, but it was nice to be mostly distraction free. The people I saw attempt to take photos were reminded of the policy and forced to delete the photos. I watched it happen twice... The security was locked in this night- Huge security staff and everyone could see them enforcing policies. The bottle service was great. Expensive, of course, but you know you're paying for that. Our server was so kind and accommodating. The busser was incredibly attentive. We got a bottle of rosé and a few cocktails. The cocktails were delicious and quite unique. Lon the Don was my favorite. The live music was incredible! A lot of talent and a wide variety of songs. The energy was electric. The DJ between live sets was great too, he really kept the hype going. This club is worth the hype and the splurge.

Looking for some ideas for our anniversary when I found Play Playground at the Luxor. This was…read moreright up our alley because it fell on a Saturday this year (lucky for us, because my LTP is currently busy with school and work during the week). The last time our anniversary fell on a Saturday, it was in 2020 and we literally couldn't do anything due to COVID restrictions, so this one was extra special for us. We marked seven years of dating on 7/18/26! I had a pretty good childhood, back when there was no such thing as smartphones, VR, and AI, and Play Playground allowed us to play like a kid again. This is a family friendly place during the day, but they implement it to 21+ only after 7:00pm and 13+ only after 6:00pm when accompanied by an adult. Make sure to sign the waiver online and forward it to everyone in your party before arriving here to save time. You'll get plenty of playtime here; the entire thing lasts about 90 minutes, which includes Duck Duck Boom across from the main entrance. Once you enter, you check in and they will give you a lanyard that you can hook your play card on, which is extremely convenient. You will also be assigned a random name (I was "Neutral Guava and my LTP was "Pleased Hare") so that they appear on the scoreboard for each game. All games are worth 15 credits and many of them mirrored games we played when we were kids, such as Frolic (Simon Says), Perfect Popper (Perfection), and Rolla Derby (Skee Ball). Tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, and Jenga can be found at numerous tables as well. The Bullseye Bounce was one of my favorite games to play here, where I got to jump on a trampoline in a Velcroed suit and throw myself as high as possible onto a Velcroed target in three tries. There's also a bounce house maze in the very back, which was also fun to experience since I've been inside several bounce houses at birthday parties and other events when I was younger. Their cocktails are absolutely amazing, too. I got myself a Pop Rock Punch cocktail and my LTP got himself a Duck Duck Boom cocktail. The Pop Rock Punch came with a pack of Blue Raspberry pop rocks that I could add in myself (I did not choose this flavor specifically; it was selected at random). We got both of these in a 12oz cup. Being a Las Vegas resident of 25 years, I think this was the most fun I've ever had on The Strip thus far. Play Playground is a great place for any occasion.

This is a super fun place for a date night or just to take some friends and challenge each other…read more No arcade games just fun interactive puzzles and brain puzzles. I mean that some of these require you to think and be fast. Some are games like operation and match the shapes till the board pops. Others require that you and your team mate have to get a red ball through the maze and score points. They have different passes one basic and one VIP, family pass and also group packages. I got the vip this comes with unlimited game play as the games require you to swipe your pass and before you know it your credits run out. Trust me the games are super fun and most of them you will try to beat your score playing multiple times. The vip also comes with one cocktail and swag bag. We had lots of fun and we be back to try and get higher scores. The staff here are super helpful and offer up lots of help with games some are challenging. So head on over to the Luxor hotel and give this place a try....

The drink I had was well balanced and strong, where some bars can water down the cocktails. It was cool that the bartender helping us was the one that made that cocktail!
