I only came here once but now I wish I had gone here more often. I guess I'll have to stop here more frequently once I make the move to Denver. This was a pit stop for us to start the night but it was my favorite stop of our crusade. It was a Monday evening and we all stopped here for a quick pre game drink plus some eats while watching the Packers & Chiefs duel it out on MNF. I ordered the hazelnut brown nectar beer for my drink. Smooth with a tootsie roll flavor finish. For food, I got the fries and cheese curds. Some of the best cheese curds I've ever had and the fries weren't bad either. I couldn't order anything else since we had to meet some other friends at this other place that wasn't anywhere as good as this one. I just browsed the online menu before reviewing and they have a nice selection of drinks including alcoholic milkshakes and a nice whiskey selection. They have Buffalo Trace, one of my favorite Kentucky bourbon-whiskeys, not sure why other places don't have it. Oh that's right, this is a whiskey bar! It makes sense now. Anyways kudos to them for carrying it plus the local whiskers like Stranahans. As soon as I move to Denver, I'll be at this spot as much as I can. Just thinking about it makes me crave it already. I ordered the fried chicken here to go and once I cut into the chicken (at home), I realized the chicken was not thoroughly cooked (see pictures). I thought maybe it was just the coloring but it was cool to the touch, compared to the outer edges of the chicken. I emailed them privately so that I can show and explain to them the quality of food I received, but I did not get a response... so I guess I will add it publicly now and hope to get a response this way. I wanted to enjoy this place because it's so close to my apartment, but their food is just mediocre. Only go here if you like avalanches. Because you'll get one disappointment after another. Upstairs patio closed on a beautiful day? Check. Unfriendly bartender? Check. Service so poor that when our friends sandwich literally came out an hour after everybody else's because they forgot about it they were kind enough to offer 20 percent off instead of offering to comp it? Where has this place been all my life? I love whiskey. So much whiskey. My ex wifes both said it was a "problem", but I don't see a problem at all. I say WTF! This is the only place that has this much of a beautiful selection. I'd come here every day if I didn't just get fired again. The food is great and the whiskey is better. We got takeout from here, so I cannot comment on how our experience differs from an in-restaurant experience. We really enjoyed our meals! I think my only criticism would be that it needs more sauce added to the sandwiches (we ordered the buffalo chicken and the cajun turkey gouda). The quality was definitely there! After recently moving into the neighboring area, we have been to Whiskey Tango Foxtrot multiple times in the past week. They have a fun sports bar, as well as outdoor seating and a rooftop patio. Super friendly service as well. Our best finds so far were the tuna tacos, and the cheese curds. The cheese curds also include deep friend jalapeños and pickles, which were both delicious! tldr; fast service and the restaurant as a whole for brunch is not crazy busy. food and bloody mary's were pretty average. cute patio with lots of sun! we went here for brunch at around noon on a Saturday morning and it was not very busy. it was sunny and nice out so we sat outside on the front patio which was super cute and quiet. the service was fast which was good because we were pretty hungover. my bf got the breakfast tacos and said they were pretty good. we both got bloody mary's that were okay but they used sweet sandwich pickles instead of the classic spears (if ur a bloody mary lover you know this would make u sad) i ordered the avocado toast but unfortunately they ran out of avocado which is hard to believe because there is literally a king soopers directly across the street where they could have gone to grab some at least (i have worked at many restaurants and they all do this when they run out of popular and necessary items so don't think it's a crazy expectation). the breakfast potatoes were fine but super salty and lacking other seasonings so i didn't finish them :/ read more

Great happy hour, decent drinks and food, bad service. If you're in Lodo and you're looking for an affordable happy hour, then Whiskey Tango is a good spot. When you order one of the happy hour drinks (house wines, wells, and a few draft beers) you'll get a token for a free drink. The best part is that you can bring the token back any day during happy hour for a free drink. The happy hour is great before a baseball game since it's close to the stadium. The food is ok, but it's overpriced. For example, if you order a sandwich it's going to cost you about $10, but you're going to have to pay for fries or any other side. Then there are randomly overpriced items like $10 avocado toast. I would stick with the appetizers. Almost every time I've come here, I've had pretty bad service. Servers will hang out at the side of the bar while customers are trying to order drinks/food or trying to get their check. It usually takes 15 minutes to get a basic drink. The staff are all friendly, but they need to pay more attention to what the customers need. read more

So it's a really pretty they allow dogs here they have some good drink portions on the menu I went with a Mamosa because it was earlier in the day I did go with the WTF chop salad I do not recommend it for $16 the dressing is watery they charge you an extra six dollars for pumpkin seeds is Romain lettuce two slices of crumpled up egg and little tiny bites of grilled chicken that had no seasoning and six grape tomatoes unfortunately there was not a server upstairs when I got up there so I walked back-and-forth to the bar although I do say I should've went with the bartenders choice when he suggested that I get the Aji tuna nachos so I'll try those next time read more

WTF is in a great location in LoDo. We met a friend who was visiting from out of state who wanted to see Coors Field and we were able to walk over after brunch. We sat outside on the deck upstairs. We were pleasantly surprised that they had live music while we were there. Brunch with bottomless mimosas is always a plus! They don't have bottomless Bloody Mary's, but they have a couple different flavors to choose from. I had the Picante Bloody Mary - it was spicy, but not overpowering! I loved it. I had the Mushroom and Spinach Scramble and it was amazing! The portion was pretty big and it came with an English Muffin on the side. My favorite part of the meal was the delicious sun dried tomatoes. Our server was super friendly! We saw they have happy hours and whiskey deals on Wednesday's. WTF is a great place to go watch games. The beer selection is good, the handcrafted cocktails are delicious and the whiskey selection is one of the best in Denver. We had the cauliflower wings, meatballs and poutine. All were really good. The wings are light and tasty and the chili in the meatballs is great (the meatballs themselves are a bit dry). The poutine is worth it if you like fries with gravy and melted cheese curds. The only thing keeping me from the 5th star is the fact that there was one bartender on duty for the entire afternoon and he fell behind tending to one well, an outdoor bar and the entire indoor bar. This review is going to be based on the incredibly amazing gyros we had and have since returned another time for :) If you are a gyro fan or even if you haven't had the pleasure, check theirs out. They are PACKED full of shaved rib eye, feta, lettuce, onion and tomato (except mine, no tomato for me). It's really a meal in a pita and I am unable to finish it but give it my best effort! The tzatziki is delicious and comes on the side - I essentially smother mine in it. Sides are a la carte but I recommend sharing an order of fries - they are always really crispy and perfectly cooked. For 2 people, this is more than enough food! We have sat on the rooftop both times and will say, it can get a bit rowdy so if you are looking for a little more quiet with your meal, the downstairs patio or inside the bar seem to fit the bill. Our servers have always been great and attentive, no issues there either! My goal is to eventually tackle the cookie dough ice cream sandwich - which I've literally known about since they opened but alas, have not yet been able to eat. But I will. Ordered through doordash and I don't plan to ever eat food from here again. Ordered 4 items for me plus 2 others; Fried chicken, Tunas tacos, fried cheese curds, and poutine. Poutine was canceled, and removed from the order. Not sure if this was a doordash issue or not. Did not know until after order arrived. Cheese curds were delicious. Fried chicken was very basic. It was two small pieces, with a couple dipping sauces. I would have rather done to any drive-through fried chicken restaurant. I would have had more chicken, and of similar quality. Tuna Tacos were disgusting. The tuna and rice are put into a paper bowl, which is fine. The first 2 tacos were ok, nothing special. The problem was the tuna on the bottom of the bowl smelled old and a bit rancid. I ended up throwing 1/2 the order away. So I feel nice giving 2 stars for the cheese and not blaming WTF for the item being removed. read more

It was a hot day in Denver! Fortunately the Rockies were off aka all star week in BB. The traffic getting through town was like driving in SF or NY hella bad! Attended a work function And had to keep my wits about me so no whiskey... otherwise I might have asked my vendor to foxtrot or tango on the table. Believe it or not this is the first time I sampled cheese Kurds! Yep never imbibed prior. There were deep fried with jalapeños served with a cool but spicy dipping sauce . Pretty darn good! So good I could hear my arteries harden with each bite. Pork wings? Had to try.... ah I get it! Ribs with a bit of the bone exposed at the end. Easy to pick up and eat and very tasty! Finally had the fried chicken app which was actually half a damn chicken with a sweet spicy Thai like dipping sauce. Trivia was about to begin... and all the after work hipsters who live in the nearby apartments, condos etc were popping in. That was our queue to settle up and boogie. Fun spot 4 sho!
