    Aperol Spritz & Warehouse sunset

I loved how friendly the staff was at this restaurant! The food is super fresh, I enjoyed a Chicken Cobb Salad, side of French fries, and a Warehouse Sunset Cocktail. If you like a sweeter side - the coconut in this drink is amazing! There's a lot of items on the menu that I want to try next time.

I have been wanting to go here for a while and had a reason when me and 10 of my lady friend decided to go. One of the ladies called ahead to let them know we had a large party coming as they do not take reservations. Even after calling they did not have tables ready and would only add them once a number of our party arrived. They have an everyday drink special of a $5 jack black which was really good. I ordered a drink with thr name honey in it and it was horrible after seeing the old fashioned that one of the other ladies had, I ordered one sadly from looking at the other old fashioned the pours are inconsistent but tasted good. I ordered a salmon salad and the piece was small but thr salad was really good and I would order it again with another piece of salmon. One of the ladies ordered a well done hamburger and it came out medium rare. The wings looked good and one of the ladies said they were okay. Apparently the spicy pasta dish was good and had a nice kick. The place gives a hanky tonk/salon vibe which i liked very much. The service was so good from our waitress but you could tell she was a bit overwhelmed having to serve the entire room. I could see other staff around idle. It would be great if they helped each other. I understand each person having their section but giving a helping hand to someone overwhelmed should be a given.

I was torn between a 3 and 4 for this place. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 6 and surprisingly the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. The place had a cool vibe to it and was nice and clean. Our waitress came to our table promptly and was very friendly. We ordered our soft drinks and some fried cheese appetizers. They were ok but when they were brought out to our table of 5 no plates were brought. Upon receiving our plates ( no silverware) our waitress took our order and then told us her shift ended but another waitress would come. Our new waitress brought our food and left and we had to yell to get her attention to request silverware. As our food got cold she finally arrived with 3 sets of silverware for our table of 5. When we requested more we were brought plastic to go utensils because apparently ALL of their utensils were in the dishwasher. The chicken tenders and Caesar salad were very good though. The fries and fish needed more seasoning. My son-in-law, son and husband all had stomach aches by the time we got home.

Lovely rooftop for a nice night. Service was quick to come back and forth to check on us. You can never go wrong with a delicious buffalo chicken wrap and curly fries. It was so good and didn't feel heavy either.

So this place has always been hit or miss !! Weekdays with Morgan and Kristy are great. But recently the weekends are so trashy. The upstairs bar service is just mediocre and yet they add a new fee. I asked the server what's the fee for and she said it's because we didn't raise our prices for food! I didn't even eat here! So weird. Honestly as a plaza native this place is trash , just skip it and go to Thomas street! Or legion!

    Collector's Flight of Whiskey

Whiskey Warehouse has a great vibe with a cool warehouse setting and unique touches like chandeliers made from old bottles. The Collectors Whiskey Flight was enjoyable, and the deviled eggs with okra and bacon, along with the whiskey balls with pimento cheese, were tasty bites. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. A relaxed spot worth returning to for good drinks and a laid-back atmosphere.

Best Bloody Mary's in Charlotte! Service is always excellent and love the positive atmosphere.

Rooftop view from Whiskey Warehouse. (Disregard the construction crane.)

Great restaurant and bar in vibrant Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte. I particularly enjoy the Blackened Chicken Salad entree! Ate there on several occasions with friends. Service is friendly. The rooftop bar is fantastic at sunset.

Great environment for a partly cloudy day. We enjoyed the mimosas and shots of whiskey! The server was polite and very attentive.

We were seated quickly - opted for the main dining room instead of the rooftop as the rain was coming. It filled up nicely for a Friday night despite the weather. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and loved it. I love a saucy chicken wrap and the sauce was spiced well and up to my spice level. Points were taken off as my fries weren't served hot. I will definitely be back, maybe get the sweet potato fries next time!

I was in town visiting family recently and they suggested this place for dinner. It's located right around the corner from their place so we walked over on a Thursday night. We tried to grab a table on their awesome rooftop patio but there was a bit of a wait. So we ordered food and enjoyed it at a table downstairs and then moved up when there was a table available. I ordered a glass of whiskey. As a whiskey fan, it was very fitting that my family suggested this place. They did have a really good selection to choose from. We shared the pretzel bites and goodness were they tasty! As for my entree, I ordered the salad with Jack & Coke glazed salmon. It was pretty darn yummy and a good portion size. I was hungry from traveling all day and it hit the spot. Once a space on the rooftop was made available, we finished our evening up there with friends we made at the bar. I would definitely come back, especially for the rooftop experience.

I had high hopes for this restaurant when I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, but…read moreunfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. While I take full responsibility for arriving 15 minutes late, I was shocked at how rudely the hostess--who we later learned was the manager--handled the situation. Rather than a simple acknowledgment of the delay, or improbability of getting a table, she made a point to shame us, emphasizing that accommodating us would be an extra burden for her. This set an uncomfortable tone from the start. When she begrudgingly seated us at a table that had somehow magically become available, she made another unnecessary comment, implying that I should do my part to not make her job so difficult again. My partner was immediately put off and suggested we leave, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance, assuming the manager might just be having a rough night. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The food, best described as uninspired frozen bar fare from the main Duckworth's kitchen, took over 30 minutes to arrive--and even then, it was served before our drinks. When the drinks finally did arrive, they were nothing exceptional. I ordered a French 75, and my partner had a Paloma, only to realize that even the drinks had come from downstairs at Duckworth's. Given the restaurant's supposed reputation, I was surprised that it didn't have its own bar, unlike how things are set up at The Cellar. The only redeeming aspect of our visit was our waitress, who was pleasant and professional. However, what puzzled us the most was that despite the manager's initial reluctance to seat us, nearly half of the restaurant remained empty throughout the evening. With at least three or four servers working in a relatively small space, it was clear that staffing wasn't the issue--so why the hostility? It was hard not to wonder if other potential diners had been similarly turned off by the manager's deplorable attitude and the underwhelming menu. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths--both literally and figuratively. Between the lackluster food and drinks, and the uncalled-for attitude from management (she is bald and was wearing a dress on the evening of 2/14/25 at 9:30PM-11PM), I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Service: 4.8/5 - Since it was their soft opening I either expected mediocre service or top of the line. Thankfully I received the latter! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. The sauce had good flavor, but it couldn't save the dish. Mentioned it to our server--got an "oh, okay" and a walk-off. No follow-up, no fix. Tried to order the French toast sticks for dessert...still "in the oven." At that point, I had to laugh and ask is the oven on? The cook then offered to make an individual serving just for us.
