Came for drinks only though the food menu looked really good. Had two Pornstar Martinis and they were strong and very tasty! Dangerous! Service was great and comfy chairs. It's a really cool vibe inside with a DJ. It did get a bit hard to hear one another talk though.

Was really looking forward to coming here after reading so many good reviews ... Alas wasn't the best experience but I really think that was because of the bartender . I will definitely come back another day to try again. They have a great atmosphere and the door !! Love it! We luckily found a spot at the bar. Ordered drinks which just turned out to be subpar. I had a paper plane cocktail which was ok and another friend had the pornstar martini which we love from Europe but this version was nothing close to as good as the ones we've had. My friends Negroni was just pure Campari. When he asked for a little extra gin to mellow it out a little the bartender said she's havecru charge him as it was made by the measurements it's meant to. We thought that was a bit off. She never came back either to see if we needed anything. I've had much better cocktails at other bars in this area. Otherwise the place is cool and the menu for food looked good. I'd like to come back and try the food. I think we just had a one off bad experience. Dj on weekends played good music but not so loud you can't hear yourself! Not a great first time here. But I'll be back. Hopefully won't be the same bartender !!

Hidden gem! I came here for my "pre-birthday" dinner with my husband. Honestly the exterior view is very lowkey besides these large gold doors that lead you into a very sexy atmosphere. I didn't know if I was walking into a club, bar, or restaurant. I'll say this place can be all 3! This is a small quaint spot. Perfect for date night! I'll recommend to get a reservation as it can fill up pretty quickly! This restaurant serves dishes tapas style with the a variant of the same dish Latin and Asian style. I loved the idea. I tried the crab egg rolls, duck tacos, and dumplings. They were all flavor bombs and innovative! My favorite were the tacos! I ordered a mocktail and the DJ had the vibes going all night with the playlist. The music was just right! My server was very kind and attentive. I will definitely be back! Only feedback is that you sit very close to your neighbors, so I could hear every conversation when I wasn't actively engaging.

I only stopped in for drinks and a late night bite but the kitchen was closed. It worked out because we were able to get delicious drinks. I wish I remembered the bartender's name but he was very precise and took amazing direction to make me a non alcoholic drink that had amazing flavors. He was quirky and made sitting at the bar fun. The DJ was great and played a nice selection of house music for the vibe. The low lighting was excellent. I would like to come back and see what they have for food.

Was the vibes there? Yes. Set up, ambiance, decor ALL 10/10. A very beautiful place. My "appetizers?" Were good - Nothing crazy and tasted as expected. The yellowtail was okay, not my favorite but if you're a fan of limes and fish then it's for you. Service was 6/10. At first my waitress was great then there was a moment I was just sitting, looking, with an empty drink for almost 20mins... When she was there she was GREAT amazing to talk to and good recommendations but when she left that was it. Wouldn't mind coming back again

We tried this place one late evening. Super nice ambience and aesthetics. They had aDJ spinning some nice tunes. Service was prompt and friendly. The food however was not giving. I was with a party of six and we tried different things, most with tepid reviews: ramen was sweet, cream spring roll and corn fritters had very little seasoning. I think these are all great menu items but just missing a little something on the flavor side. The better ones were jack fruit tacos, and the taco al pastor. Cocktails were great. I got the lychee martini, others got margaritas and they all were good.

I was visiting Charlotte and my local friend took me to Orosoko to grab a drink. It was dimly lit, very posh and sexy vibes. There was also a DJ which made it even better. We didn't get any food but I ordered a dirty martini which unfortunately was awful lol. Our server was great and let me swap it out for a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend this spot for a date night or after-dinner drinks with the girls.

Ok so yall, this place is dope. I went with a friend to the sound experience and I was pleasantly pleased. I had one of the tastiest drinks and heard some of the best house music mixed while simultaneously catching up with a friend. I'm very pleased to say how impressed I was with the big golden door. The inside was very dark but very cute. I don't live in Charlotte, but if I did, I would definitely be a regular here.

It took me a minute to locate the place but when I did I was met with a beautiful heavy wooden door that swung in the center. The interior is just as beautiful and zen. For my first impression, I was looking forward to dinner. The service from beginning to end was good. Now let's talk about the event. The cocktails were delightful and a welcome surprise. The food was a work in progress, some needed a bit more seasoning and some were over seasoned. Some had a very nice umami flavor. I can see them being improved upon. I would come again to see if it improves.

Beautiful small bar in Southend. I loved the vibe here and the ambiance was great. It gets pretty crowded so it's best to make a reservation if you want a table. The live dj was playing great background music. Our server took our orders and they were sold out of 3 of the 10 signature cocktails they sell. I went for the pearodox. It was pretty good. It had strong ginger and honey flavor and a little spicy too. They were also sold out of many others drinks we tried to order. Finally we settled for some other drinks. When they came out, they were not as expected so we tried to get the server so we could order something else instead. We never saw her again and waited over 30 minutes. Finally we flagged down a different server and just had her take off the drinks that weren't touched and left after that. Overall, the place is nice and I may come back at an earlier time before things sell out.

A night out in Charlotte brought us to Orosoko. food we ordered: Food: Chicken Dumplings Blue Crab Burrito Blue Crab Spring Rolls Drinks Pstar martini * bartender's choice Hugo Spritz (reimagined) Pstar Martini (reimangined) Angel was an exceptional bartender. He is incredibly talented, personable and a true mixologist. We enjoyed his cocktails and riffs (with a twist) on classics that were unique and tasty. He made our night here an A+ experience.

This was a small, but an exquisite restaurant-lounge with a dark, exotic, metro vibe. Very NYC. As expected, they played cool lounge-esque music (perfect sound system!), which really amplified the dining experience. I made reservations in advance, so we were able to slide into our seats during rush hour Saturday. However, the parking was a bit iffy. Luckily, we found a metered parking nearby...but if unlucky, you may have to cruise around the block several times. I tried to call the restaurant several times in advance to get parking directions, but all I got was a voice mail (even during restaurant hours!). I liked their East-West fusion concept, with mostly (if not all) small plates. We ordered 4 items to share...Special of the day Tacos (forgot the name), Blue Crab Burritos, BBQ Chicken Dumplings, Miso Lobster Crepe. Surprisingly, all the foods were really good...but the presentation was somewhat of a yawn. I had high hopes for the Blue Crab Burritos and Miso Lobster Crepe...but they both looked so basic. The burritos actually looked like simple Spring Rolls...and the Lobster Crepe also looked like this soft burrito wrap. Even with this gold paper on top, it wasn't exactly a show stopper. For some reason, I expected the plating to be a bit fancier. So yeah...the foods tasted great, but looked quite boring. Portions were really small for the pricing...but forgivable, given the overall swanky vibe of the place. BTW, for drinks, I opted for 2 cups of SAKE ("Mist" something?) Very strong!! All cocktails were priced at 17 bucks...again, quite pricey. Again, you'll be paying for the ambiance here. Service was good. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and our waitress was attentive, and checked with us throughout our meal. Overall, I LOVED the restaurant ambiance-vibe (and the music!). I actually hate small, tight spaces...but they managed to pull it off. Still, the tables were set a bit too close to one another...and that's just not my preference. There were a few more iffy things...like the difficult parking situation, small portion-high pricing, and the boring presentation as mentioned above. Also, they served lukewarm water...which actually kind of grossed me out. I would have loved to drop 5 stars, but there were just one too many things that seemed a bit off to me. Still, given how much I liked the restaurant and the vibe it had to offer, I'm definitely open to returning. PS***Still having issues of my pictures attaching! (?!?)

Service is great and a wonderful ambiance with live dj music. The seating is well done and it felt private, even though we had people around us. Drinks are great and different. The food we tried was good too - I liked the hamachi. Prices are a bit up there, but good for date night or an outing with friends.

Wanted to know if this restaurant is suitable for children? My wife and I would like to dine with our 16 month old

This is a restaurant-lounge that's really for adults...date night vibe. Also plays very loud ambiance music.

I don't see any vegetarian options. Are they accommodating to vegetarians?

Yes. While the majority of our menu includes animal based proteins, we offer a small number of vegetarian items, including our “hen of the woods” mushroom taco and shiitake bao bun, both of which are among our most popular dishes.

You could tell they were very busy, so it took a while for a host to come and seat us. Once seated, it then took a while for a server to come to the table. Natalee eventually dropped by with some water, and admittedly let us know they were short staffed for the night. However, after she greeted us, her service remained attentive throughout the course of our meal. Now for the food, everything came out quickly, but one by one as it was ready. The roasted beets came first, which I expected because it was the only item we ordered that didn't need to be cooked. The pistachio butter and goat cheese really complemented each other well. Then came the empanadas and croquetas. Both came out piping hot, so we had to let them sit before trying. The stuffing inside of the empanada was very flavorful, and the croquetas are some of the best I've had in the city. Lastly, the calamari, shrimp, and mussels came in succession. The aioli served with the calamari was delicious and the breading was perfect. My friend ordered the shrimp and mussels, which I didn't try, but both were sizzling upon arrival and she thought they tasted great. Our drinks came in between the food items and while they were good, my friend had to send hers back due to the lack of juniper berry. When Natalee returned with the corrected drink, my friend was able to taste the difference immediately and finally enjoy it. As for my drink, I'm not big on dry red wine, but with the added components, I could barely taste it. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and we will be back! Additionally, this restaurant does validate parking if you park in the attached garage on the side with the ticketed entry. If you use the QR code to prepay, they will not be able to refund what you spent, so be wary.

The roasted mushrooms, come on a sliced yogurt, with verde hummus, and sumac onions. Again so flavorful and so many different things going on in this dish. Highly recommend this. I think real crab meat was used which is always nice. There was some aioli on the plate, but certainly not enough to dip with meal in. The Avocado Toast was recommended by our server and it was a top tier choice! It had chili dukka on it so everything from the eggs, sourdough bread, and avocados tasted very seasoned, despite the dish sounding a bit plain. They do not skimp out on the avocado here. My friend said the Wagyu Burger tasted good and I tried the Shakshuka (for the first time in my life) which tasted very tomato-y but still yummy with the bread! Luckily, the barstools were comfortable, so I didn't mind at all. The service was great--fast, attentive, and the bartenders were really friendly. The drinks were also really good. I had a lychee martini that was strong but delicious. We also tried a few of their shots--they had a unique, acquired taste. The only one I didn't enjoy was the Hierba shot because the aftertaste reminded me of licorice, which I'm not a fan of. But if you like licorice, you'd probably enjoy it. As for the food, everything was amazing. The yuca balls were a 10/10. We also had the "Pulpo Anticuchero", which was a Spanish style octopus that came with roasted potatoes that were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very fresh and flavorful. I ordered the arroz con mariscos (seafood rice), which included calamari, octopus, squid, and more. It was really good, and the portion size was huge--definitely enough to feed 3-4 people, so keep that in mind when ordering. The ambiance was really nice as well. The music was good and not too loud, which made it easy to enjoy the overall vibe. Overall, I'd give this place a 10/10.

It's different for a traditional sushi/sashimi and different from a conventional ceviche you may find in Central America. I always stick with any of the nigiri and tiratado. If you want more of their traditional ceviches they have that as well. Pair the tiratado with their tostones - *chefs kiss We did venture and try the New York strip - it was fine, I didn't think the steak had enough time to rest so it's lost the sear it probably had when it got to our table. Probably will favor ordering more of the fish items again next time! Service is exceptional. The music is bumping and the interior is gorgeous and modern. Will be returning next time I'm in town!

10/10 -- highly recommend this place!…read more From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere. The vibe was fun and welcoming, the food was outstanding, and our server went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. Our group tried the duck, steak, lengua, and carne asada tacos, and every single one was delicious. The duck taco was the standout for me--the crispy fried duck skin added the perfect texture and flavor. We also shared the Para la Mesa with sweet corn on the side, empanadas, and churros for dessert. The empanadas were incredible, especially with that amazing sauce that had just the right kick of spice. The wagyu steak from the Para la Mesa was another favorite, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. And I can't forget to mention the warm, fresh tortillas--they were absolutely delicious and elevated every bite. Sometimes it's the little details that make a meal memorable, and these tortillas definitely did. If I had to pick my top three items, they would be the duck taco, the wagyu steak, and the empanadas. A special shoutout to our server (I wish I remembered his name!). He introduced us to mezcal tequila, which none of us had tried before, and it ended up being such a fun experience that made our evening even more memorable. Great food, great service, amazing drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere--we'll definitely be back!

The steak was perfectly cooked, the papa's were delicious. We got the plantains as an appetizer and those were great as well. My favorite drink there is the Yucatan, but this time I went with one of the specials, the Rosalita. It was also fantastic! You really can't go wrong at Puerta.
