What a find! Their coffee is wonderful and I have a very picky coffee snob in my group. we also had pastries that were so flavorful, try the old fashioned cake doughnut. Their breakfast sandwiches were also very good. Get there early on the weekend to avoid a crowd. We will be back!

The iced Carmel lattes here are by far one of my favorites. We also ordered a build your own breakfast sandwich which was absolutely delicious. They also offer tons of options for making lunch at home, bottled drinks, bakery items, and fresh flowers. Staff is very friendly and willing to explain menu items. The outdoor seating is very convenient and aesthetically pleasing! Highly recommend when in the area!

Great little roadside stop for breakfast or lunch. My wife and I both went with the Salmon Bagel, with different cream cheese varieties. The staff is quick, friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee is amazing (we went drip, but hey....if you do the basics well...). Would highly recommend for a quick but delicious bite.

We love Whistle Stop! Great spot for sandwiches, coffee, and niche grocery items. Many syrups and flavors for coffee. Plenty of outdoor seating with shade. We especially love the sandwiches! Quick service for a small spot.

What a rip off! Pay $4.25 for an ok coffee ... and want a refill ? Pay another $4.25 Go down the street to Barn Dog where ... yes, you pay .25 less for your coffee and ... the refills are free Whistle Stop has since opening has been overpriced; along with a bad attitude I hate being squeezed! If you are looking for a quaint place along the west side of Michigan to stop for lunch or coffee before hitting the beach or, if you're like me, finishing out a long road trip, this spot is perfect! The quaint shop, while small inside, offers a wide variety of cafe services. From artisan sandwiches and baked goods to delicious coffee from Ferris Coffee, I always make a point to make this a part of my drive back to the Chicagoland area after a Michigan adventure. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful if you need recommendations.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Whistle Stop Grocery! Their grocery assortment is unique and great brands of better quality foods. We got breakfast sandwiches and they were so good! I got a side of garlic aioli and it was fresh and amazing. My marshmallow latte was perfect. We went during Labor Day weekend and the wait was 30 minutes. It was worthwhile for us, the patio is lovely and we could bring our pup. What a beautiful little place! Reminded me of a place we went to in Sag Harbor called Harbor Market and Kitchen.

Sadly, disappointed in the new ipad ordering system which led to long waits and frustrated customers. This neighborhood gem is a perfect place to stop for a breakfast sandwich, lunch, deli items, snacks, household specialty items, wine and a great Kombucha on tap. Hoping they figure out the new system soon, one of our favorite spots in Harbor County!

The ordering process is confusing and they're super sloooooow to fulfill orders. We ordered online ahead of time and while the ordering system indicate our food would be ready in 35 mins, it took just under one hour. While waiting customers were confused, clustered, and staff didn't do much of anything to help. I assisted more customers than the staff did, as customers walking in asked "do I need to order sandwiches online?" or "where do I order coffee." Happy to help, but I wasn't being paid haha Food quality was excellent, however not worth the chaos, IMO

i got matcha in my chai tea latte which i am not a fan of. if i was allergic i would have complained but since they are busy i will stay quiet. stay safe with the food contamination here, i have a fear allergies are not taken seriously here. the chai tea was good.

The pie itself is pretty good but the thick layer of sugar on top is obnoxious. Always end up with a pile of coarse sugar on my plate.

TLDR - overpriced for low quality food. $15 for a lb of chicken salad, $10 for a bagel sandwich on a sub-par bagel, soggy kale salad.

Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in and looked at the menu, the woman with purple hair at the counter greeted us with extremely unpleasant energy. She rushed us through our entire order, wasn't friendly or welcoming, and was extremely difficult to connect with. What stood out to me most was that after our interaction, I noticed her greeting other customers who didn't look like us with a noticeably warmer energy. We ordered two sandwiches, two drinks, and two pastries, spending almost $40, yet the experience lacked any real sense of kindness, consideration, or basic human decency. Because I was being rushed, I actually had to get back in line a second time to purchase something I had missed during our initial order. We were especially disappointed because this was supposed to be a nice experience while celebrating my friend's birthday. We were grateful to see vegan options on the menu, and the space itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, it felt like the energy and level of hospitality inside depended on the color of your skin. That experience left a lasting impression, and sadly, we won't be returning.

I really enjoyed my lox bagel and thought it was one of the best I've had!! The flavors were nicely balanced with the onion, capers, cream cheese and lox. I was able to eat it easily and get a little piece of everything in each bite. The bagels seem smaller than average, but who needs giant bagels anyway? I found these to be reasonably sized. Big overstuffed bagels that fall apart while you eat them - lox sliding all over the place - are really annoying. These were satisfying without making you feel gross after. The coffee selection exceeded our expectations. We shared a chemex for 2. They had a few single origin coffees to choose from and we had their pink bourbon Columbian. We enjoyed our coffee and bagels outside in their seating area and this was once of my favorite parts of our trip! We didn't have to wait too long, but as we were finishing, a long line was forming down the block. Consider getting there a little early!

I ordered the pesto egg panini alongside a pistachio iced latte. The panini was the standout--fresh bread, flavorful pesto, ripe tomatoes, and a well-balanced combination of flavors.
