On the night I visited, they only had the special of blueberry doughnuts and orange donut holes left. These were also delicious the next morning, so if you want doughnuts for the morning, cross that to-do list off your list and pick these up the night before. The first issue is that the shop has been closed during advertised business hours 3 out of the last 5 times I've tried to stop by. All locations share an Instagram where they advertise flavors but this location usually doesn't have them. One of the highlights of Hello Honey are the fresh waffle cones but nah-nah! Not here. Sometimes they are pre-made but when they do make one on the spot they tend to rush it and undercook it. The waffle maker was apparently broken the last time I stopped by so they picked up a replacement from a local store and it took a while. The employee was clearly annoyed but continued with it and handed me a disaster of a cone that required a cup just to salvage the ice cream. It didn't help that he rushed to put the scoop into the scorching hot, undercooked cone. If you're in Ft Thomas and want ice cream I'd suggest skipping this place and going to The Parlor or Graeter's.

We both LOVED our ice cream, and the flavors were present without being too sweet or overwhelming. Their waffle cones are homemade and it was honestly the best waffle cone I've ever had- the contrast between the warm waffle cone and the cold ice cream is indescribably amazing, and I hope I get to experience it again soon. It was around $13 for the two of us combined. The inside is cute, but the plants could use some TLC- all of the plants were halfway to death and most still had the tags on from the store, which made me sad.
