I brought the wife into test drive a new Outlander and we met Brian M. (our sales rep). He was very professional and was able to answer all my wife's questions, after she took the Outlander for a test drive. We weren't ready to buy the car that day, because we did not have enough time to complete the paperwork, so Brian provided us with his contact info. I returned to the dealership on Monday (also filled out the finance application online and was pre-approved) and brought my trade in to get appraised and work out the price for my trade-in. The sales manager provided a lower amount for my trade, than I would like but we worked it out. After a little negotiation the sales manager accepted my asking price for my trade-in. I told Brian, I didn't have time to finish up the financing paperwork on Monday night due to a business meeting, but than I would like the financial papers sent to me digitally, so I can review and make a decision on which loan best fit my family's financial needs. I scheduled to return Tuesday night with Brian after our discussion, to receive delivery of the new car and finish up signing any documents needed to purchase the car. On Tuesday, I waited until 2 PM to receive the loan documents but did not receive anything, so I texted Brian to see if he can have the Finance department send me the Loan documents. After an hour, I received a text from Matt stating, he was the only finance guy today and was busy busy. He asked if I had a question and said you are all approved. I replied with "Are you able to send me the digital Financials? Matt's response: Haven't had time yet, we are busy busy. This is one of the reasons why I try to avoid doing the financials at the dealership, because I don't want to sit there for hours waiting for them. I gave them all day to send me the financials and if they are that busy maybe my business wasn't important to them. I texted Brian at 5:00PM stating I would not make it to the dealership. Eventually, after some brief text back and forth, at 6:45PM, Matt sent me the documents to review. He stated, "I needed to sign it before midnight." I thought it was just the different loan options, but it was the full loan and purchase agreement. After reviewing, I noticed there were a lot of info that was not correct on the purchase agreement. First item: My trade-in amount was wrong and not what was agreed upon by the sales manager. I told Matt about the amount, and he changed it, but I had to resign everything again. Matt sent the corrected documents over for me to re-sign. Second item: Because I received the 0.09% financing, I did not qualify for the OEM rebate, but qualified for the Dealer rebate of $2250. The documents only showed $2000, so texted Matt back and he stated that the new car manager just changed it, but he could either give me a check for the $250 or redo the paperwork again. Because $250 was not going to provide me with a lower payment, I opted to take the check and continued signing the documents. Third Item: going through the titling document, it stated that I was being charged $99.00 to title my car as a Hybrid Electric Vehicle. I sent another txt to Matt, and he stated, "It's a titling fee on all deals." so I responded with "So, everyone that buys a car at White Bear Mitsubishi is paying a titling fee that is not related to their vehicle? Matt's response, "It's just for titling, it's on every vehicle we sell!" I didn't understand why I would be paying for a Hybrid Electric Vehicle titling fee if my vehicle is neither a hybrid or electric, but decided I did not want to lose the sale for $99.00 so I replied, "I do understand it's for titling... why is everyone paying that fee when it's not related to their vehicle? I'll sign it but I'm not too excited about it!" Matt responded, back with a snarky "Feel free to bring it up to the GSM when you come in." I'm not sure if this can be investigated, but I'm pretty sure White Bear Mitsubishi is scamming people by making them pay for a titling fee that is not related to the vehicle they are purchasing. I might reach out to a couple lawyers to check this out. My wife went into the dealership to pick up her new car but was told that the $250 would be provided once the loan was funded. I was ok with it so my wife drove the car home. I picked up the license plate on Saturday but they did not have the $250 ready so the receptionist worked her magic and was able to get me a check with-in 5 minutes. I'm happy with the car and the sales rep but not very happy with Matt's attitude and professionalism. I bought 2 cars at this dealership previously and have not had any issues until now, so I was giving the dealership the benefit to keep my business again. If it was any other dealership, I would have broken off the deal and taken my business elsewhere... I'm not sure if I would go back and purchase another car from White Bear Mitsubishi, if I'm going to be paying for fees that is not required for my car. read more

The Mirages are claimed to be most inexpensive new vehicle sold in North America but Mitsubishi is falling in their demise and here is again why. Mitsubishi currently only offers I believe three or four models of vehicles. Most of their other models got hugely discontinued. Case in point the Mirage is built in Thailand, not Japan. Thais literally crank the Mirages out very cheaply. Remember the Yugo back in 1987 for $3990 MSRP? Where if any are these? I rest my case. read more

When Mitsubishi announced the availability of the 2023 Outlander PHEV, Whitebear was the only dealership we could find to accept pre-orders. So in July 2022 we placed down a 250 deposit. Then they followed up in early August when they had researched the changing US tax credits and offered us a contract to purchase option so we could still qualify for the 7500 credit. The car was delivered to the dealership on Dec 27th and promptly shipped to Texas. Weather was crazy with a snow apocalypse in MN. Car was built on Oct 19th in Japan and delivered to us in Texas on January 9th. This has to be the best car buying experience we've ever had. I've been sold a lemon. there have been 5 recalls and this dealer has done thing. First, they claimed mitsubishi has no fix, then a few weeks later (they drove it with 4 people who used 3/4 tank of gas and left all the floormats filthy and my sea covers in a ragged mess)., they admitted the faults yet exclaimed it doesn't affect my car, yet they kept my car to test it and admitted it was faulty. They sold me a car with keys that do not work, it's 50 below in Minnesota and if you leave your car running, you cannot get back into it unless you are lucky enough to not have locked the back hatch. Most of us do not fit thru the back hatch to climb into the front to assume priorities. That would be okay but they sold me a car with keys that do not work. On top of that, they want to first, charge me for "diagnostics to figure out the problems.. derrr my keys don't work which was about $400+ per key. My rear and front collision never worked, the screen goes black, whether I'm reverse or not. This is a cheap nickel and dime dealer (I only saw the dealer tho sold me my car once after the sale, and he acted as if I didn't exist). The maintenance "supervisor" charged me $800 to attach the front camera sensors then added that I don't know how to drive this car, yet still wanted hundreds of dollars for keys that do not work. You need to be very rich to deal with this "dealer" and dangerously drive their vehicles. As they are., they are a very dangerous and road hazardous. There are so many problems with these cars (I've talked with many of the other people who were ripped off), yet Mitsubishi, and their dealers, fegin ignorance and charge buyers astronimcal figures to correct production faulites. Stay Away!!! P.S. The navigation system is the worst! It is naviaged by other subscribers to their crap service. 95% of the addresses are unrecognizable and send you on destinations as far away as New York, I'm in MN, we really don't care about the Big Craphole. Come with pocketsful of unlimited cash and expect nothing but your pockets being drained. Bought a car at 69k miles and was said to be in perfect condition. 1 month later it's already having issues with the alternator and won't start anymore, now they refuse to cover the repair costs and won't let me return the car even though it's only been driven for less than 300 miles. This dealership is not a good dealer, I took my wife's car in for a timing belt change, was told it would take a day, got a call back saying the car would take another day over a part delay. Got the car back with changed out suspension when I came to pick up. They will certainly void your vehicle warranty if you don't understand it. Best advice is to stay away from this dealership & if getting your vehicle serviced understand your warranty if you have one. I scheduled an appointment for a "Fall special" service and detail with the option to have my car picked up by their valet service (complimentary within a 20 mile radius). I planned on picking up the car the next day. Before the valet service was scheduled to arrive at 3:30 pm, I parked at the agreed upon location a few minutes early. I made a call to White Bear Mitsubishi to confirm the pick up and appointment. The appointment was confirmed and I was told to wait for someone to call me. I waited 10 minutes before calling back. I was met with a similar response. I waited another 10 minutes before calling back. This time I asked for descriptions on the valet vehicle so that I could look out for it, but I was only told that they weren't sure about the details of the vehicle and that I should wait for a call coming soon from the valet driver. After 10 minutes, I did receive a call but not from the valet driver. I received a call that there was no one coming. They told me that all the valet drivers left work earlier at 2:30/2:45 pm. I was given options of driving my vehicle to White Bear Mitsubishi or have it picked up in the morning by their valet service. Neither could work because I had limited options of returning home and I worked in mornings before they opened. Plus I am a little skeptical of using their valet service in the future. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment because of time-sensitive personal events. I wished I would've received a phone call before to let me know that they are unable to fulfill my appointment. read more

Let me just start off by saying I wasn't too sure that getting a new car was going to happen for me.. Let me follow this up with saying I love my sweet new ride. Prior to my appointment for my test drive the customer service dept was in touch with me and very delightful. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a warm smile and huge hello and the visit just got progressively better. My sales person was Nancy and God knew what he was doing when he made this connection. Her overall professionalism was amazing. She greeted us with confidence and enthusiasm so I knew it was going to be a good visit. I explained to her my concerns in regards to getting financed although I had already secured "pre approval". She took those concerns/fears and put them to rest telling me not to worry and we began to look for THE CAR!! With taking into consideration my hurdles and upside downness in my current car we came up with a plan. I walked outside to see what she came up with and booooom.... I was in love. Of course she helped to sell the car by thouroughly explaining its features and etc but she did it with class and it wasn't pushy or being extra. We went for a drive and I was ready to close the deal... I met with Tom from Finance who also was just as amazing and said they would work hard to make this happen and that he did. I told him what I was working with and off he went to work his magic. Meanwhile during the long awkward moment of waiting I had the pleasure of meeting Richard from the commercials and his personality is just as big as the iconic bear. Simply put he rocks. Dropped off my car for them to fix. They told me the part I needed for my car isn't in stock. Said part will most likely take one month to get in. So I agreed.... kept calling to check on the status of that part. Nothing in yet.... 7 months later finally got my part, also told me someone had broken the driver side window and took my expensive stereo system. Had to deal with the police because they don't cover theft on their property. Told them to install the part so I can prep my car to get fixed at another shop. Paid $400 to get my car out, but the battery died sitting in the back for 7 months unattended. I told them it's not my fault because it's a brand new battery with warranty. So they told me since I still have warranty than for me to go back to the auto parts store to get a replacement and to tell the auto parts store a false story so I can get the free replacement. Put the new battery into my car and car still won't start. Told them it's the alternator, but that can't be too because it's a brand new alternator less than one year old and I still have warranty for that as well. Basically they been starting up my car on my dead battery to the point where the alternator was completely drained too. So I paid $400 just to get my broken car back. Worst experience ever. DO NOT buy a car here. NEVER again will I step foot in this place. They sold me a car with STOLEN plates on it. I found out because I ended up getting pulled over. My boyfriend got put in the back of a squad car, simply because he was driving the car(mind you his mother had passed away the day before. He DID NOT need this). If I didn't have the bill of sale in the car(with the vin number on it, my name, and everything) we would have both been arrested, with the car impounded. While we got pulled over, my dog ended up getting out of the car. We were up all night looking for her, and lost wages for calling into work, the next day, for looking for her. (We luckily found her the next day). They ordered new plates, and when I went to pick them up there was no apology or anything. They wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. They even tried to blow me off when I asked a question about the title, because the TITLE even has the stolen plate numbers on it. This is NOT a way to run a business, let alone such a big named dealership. They are a joke. read more
