This was the only White Castle in Minnesota I'd never visited, and I'm glad I did! We ordered via drive-thru and it was quite awkward using the AI generated order system. My grandma didn't want pickles on her burger but the system couldn't figure that one out. The chicken rings, fries, onion peels and burgers were all piping hot. Ironically, the burgers had a plethora of pickles and were heavy on the ketchup and mustard. I removed the pickles from my grandma's burger (I counted FIVE pickle slices on one tiny burger) lol, but seriously, those were the BEST burgers I've ever had at the castle! Service is super nice and amazingly helpful. They have NEVER gotten my order wrong. The guy with the neck tattoo who's name I haven't gotten yet always helps everyone out and is extremely nice no matter who it is. This is recently remodeled and reopened as of August 2023 so it's fresh and clean. There is no longer any interior seating or public restrooms. The service available is either through the drive thru or a small interior walk up window. The crew is still getting used to the new kitchen. While my order has always been correct from this location, some fried items were overcooked. The order was made really quickly and I was glad for that because there is nowhere to sit in the small room. This location is probably a 4-star place eventually but it's not inviting to go inside and severely overcooked onion chips take it down somewhat. This is an average White Castle. Friendly and helpful employees, but food took a while and there were at least two dirty tables in the lobby, which nobody cleaned while we were waiting for our food and while we were dining in. We were there at 9:30pm on a weeknight and there were enough employees around. Food is the usual: sliders of beef, veggie and Impossible varieties, potato products and the soda is the custom Coke machine, so you can get vanilla ginger ale or something a little different than the bog-standard carbonated drink. It's open 24 hours and they have wifi, if you ever need to find shelter or are out late at night. It wasn't horrible, but it could certainly be better. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would, but there is no option for that. Let's start off with saying, I waited in line for two hours, it was New Year's Eve so I was understanding, but not even in a packed restaurant would you ever wait that long, and if you did they would be very apologetic and accommodating, but not this place. The woman at the window was super rude, she was swearing and yelling at employees for no reason, comments were made that "your food will be all over the place" AFTER her asking me if i could cut the order in half AFTER waiting 2 hours, she tried to tell me I needed to wait another hour unless I got less food, but really it was so she could start giving the sliders I ordered to others, which SHE DID. I watched her hand a bag to someone behind me in a car with sliders that were for my order. I waited 40 mins at the window, it doesn't take 40 mins for White Castle idc if it was the whole menu, they make about 20 sliders at a time and they only take 3-4 mins to make. She never said sorry, she had a horrible attitude, she didn't tell me the price just snatched my money, forgot some things and when I asked for them basically threw it at me. I got home, found out there was some big nasty burnt black spiky looking things in my fries which were wilted and soggy btw, they should have been fresh you would think since they were busy, so nobody would eat the food. I called up there spoke to a manager and he was speaking over me, finally said come in tomorrow when the GM is here at 10:00a.m and I will be there too, he even said he remembered me and that I was more than patient with the rude girl and probably the nicest customer he had all night. Fast forward, I went the next morning I was told "no he won't be in until 11:00 now, so I WAITED again for an hour, to find it it was a regular manager and that he couldn't do nothing, I refused to leave without at least my money back, it took him TWO times to speak to the GM over the phone (when I know it's something he could have done himself) to finally give my money back. That was another almost 30 mins of waiting. I left my number and name and told him to have the GM call me when he came in the next day. On another note, when I came in the next day the lady at the counter a shift lead, had a zip down shirt on with her bra hanging out and her boobs about to pop out of the bra. It looks disgusting, not a uniform at all but even so it was a VERY INAPPROPRIATE way to wear clothing in a food establishment. This place is terrible, please go to Columbia heights or Blaine. I've never had issues there. I will be reporting this to cooperate too. OK, if not for the high crime area and the elevated chance of a drive-by I would give this 4 stars. If the threat of a random stray round only costs you 1 star I think you're doing pretty good. Now this is my two or so time a year little treat. I expanded this into a office Christmas treat for all those others who would never normally admit that they like the Castle or even a couple that had never tried it. Now I do think the whole slider myth is a little overblown. Anything with chicken in it from Taco Bell is 10 times the villain over anything I have ever experienced from the Castle! Plus, how can you not love a place that puts 20 burgers in a cardboard box for you to take back to the office! Love the onion chips as well. Yeah, I'm giving White Castle five stars. Hell yes I am. This location is a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day, y'all. I used to work in this area, and before that I practically grew up here (all of my friends lived in Point of America apartments). This part of Brooklyn Park is widely considered a blemish on the city as a whole. Apartment buildings have been demolished and replaced with townhouses, but many businesses have failed and nothing much has replaced them. Brunswick Zone, a faux ritzy eyesore of a bowling alley, and Aldi, a discount grocery store, have been installed where a dozen restaurants, stores, an arcade and an old school bowling alley used to be. After all these years, this White Castle has stayed the same. Extremely courteous, down to earth employees; fast service; consistently prepared, cheap food and clean facilities. I go out of my way to give this White Castle my business because I want to do what I can to keep it from becoming another victim of BP gentrification. read more

Shitty service, shitty location, shitty attitudes, shittily microwaved crap. The one off 65 is way better and more clean. Jesus ^that's from my tip if anyone missed it. Don't believe the reviews that give this a good shot. Holy moly, is this place bad. It's in a "bad" neighborhood, but I'm guessing that's what Minnesota locals refer to as a place where a high number of African-Americans reside. We ordered some sliders, I don't prefer onions so I asked without. They literally unpackaged the little sliders you buy at the grocery store, wiped the onions off the buns with their (thankfully) gloved hands, and stuck them in a microwave. I watched it all before me. Oh my god. The manager was a big guy who had a nasty attitude. He was gossiping with an employee about another coworker right in front of us. I've had quite a few sliders here since I moved to BP about 3~4 years ago. And for the most part, the service is courteous and the food is very good! But... there are times where I am left wondering "what {blank} is going on" with the staff working at this location. Like this morning, my wife & I stopped by @ 5:45am to dine in for their breakfast and the doors were LOCKED. Even though the sign on the door clearly indicated their dining area is supposed to be open at 5 am and their drive through is open 24 hours. (One other oddity we noticed is that their lighted neon "drive through open 24 hours" sign was also turned off.) Now, I can understand if the mgt decided like the local Denny's over in Brooklyn Center, that they weren't able to be open in the wee hours either because they don't have enough staff or perhaps crime concerns (which was what caused a Forest Lake gas station that I used to goto to refuse to allow anyone inside until daylight hours). At the very least, do like the local Denny's did, and put a note up on the door that your dining area is closed, or some warning for those of us customers who have mobility problems and have to take a significant amount to time to walk up & try the door. Well anyways, since there was a long line of people queued up for the drive through, which was SLOWLY being served and after my wasting a lot time walking up and then finding out that their dining area doors locked, my wife & I decided to heck with it and headed over to local Superamerica for sandwiches instead. And another time was, I'd say, a unbelievably stupid response by one of their staff. My wife and I had gone inside and ordered a crave case with the usual pickles, ketchup and onions on them, but stated that we wanted to get mustard packets for our burgers. Now, we've previously noticed that when they use their pre-loaded ketchup & mustard mix squirt guns, that our sliders always has way too much mustard in it for our tastes. And we figured this was a real simple solution for this problem. Apparently, not so. When the server heard we wanted mustard for our sliders, she changed the order to have mustard put on the sliders as they were being made. We said no, that's not what we ordered. The server immediately disagreed with us, even after we tried explaining about the too much mustard issue. The server claimed that if we wanted mustard on our sliders, it had to be put on them as they made them. My wife asked "Why - are you out of mustard packets?" thinking that this might be why the server was acting this way. Nope, the server complained, because it would be a *waste of time* to dole out so many mustard packets! My wife almost walked out right then. But since our crave case was already done by that time, my wife decided rather than let all that food go to waste, she paid for it - but boy, was she ticked off at that server, and it was one of those really rare times she was quite ready to never go back ever again even though we love White Castles. So in summary It's a bit of a dice throw with this location - Sometimes you get a beautiful shining 20 critical success where everything is golden and other times you get a bloody 1 critical failure and things just don't go right. You'll have to decide (like my wife did) whether because of your love their food, you're willing enough to brave all those silly idiotic failures that occasionally come with what you're actually there for! :) read more

Every single time we've gone through the drive thru and ordered fish sliders and mozzarella sticks, the tartar sauce and marinara are always missing. I have been putting food up my nose ever since I can remember because I would watch my dad eat evaporated milk up his nose on the kitchen table with his friends and then I went here and the lady working showed me how to eat through your mouth and it makes a BIG difference taste-wise and time-saving technique now I don't have to fine-chop all my food into lines anymore and can just focus on flavor now thanks to the food doctors on duty here! read more

I was in the area and just happened to come across this White Castle, I'm not too familiar with this area but this was a pleasant surprise. Actually I'm not all that surprised that there is a White Castle here, it seems to be the perfect place for one. Now I haven't been to one of these establishments in about 10 years or so. I've also never had White Castle when sober either, I swear! Right about then I noticed that my change compartment in the car was full, so I decided to swing in a grab some sliders. I had 2 of the Jalapeno cheeseburgers and 2 regular, They weren't as good as I remembered but they were still actually pretty good! Nice and greasy, the buns had absorbed a decent amount of the grease and they had the strange taste that only White Castle can provide. I also had an order of fries and they were excellent, I don't remember their fries being so good. being a fan of harold and kumar, i spotted a white castle burger and convinced my friend to stop. we don't have any white castle burger places near where we live back in seattle. we wanted to see if these burgers were really as good as harold and kumar depicted on the movie. burgers here a lot smaller than i expected, i guess that's why people buy by the dozen here. the burgers are more like sliders, with just grilled onions and cheese, none of the veggie stuff. we brought the burgers back to his sister's house and had a couple of burgers. they were ok, not as awesome as the movie made them to be. juicy and flavorful, the small size made you want some more. a good burger, but doesn't compare to california's in n out burger read more
