I love Culver's. My love for butter burgers and frozen custard stemmed from when I lived in Rochester, MN. There was a Culver's roughly five minutes away from my home. I crave Culver's whenever I am in the States and there is one nearby. I wanted dinner. It was my final night in Eden Prairie. I did a search and found this one close to my hotel. I paid it a visit. It's a huge restaurant from afar. I saw a drive-thru and decided to try it out. I had a friendly woman take my order. I got the mushroom and Swiss double burger, which is my favourite. It comes with crinkle-cut fries and a Diet Pepsi. I also saw a promotion for a pumpkin spice shake. I decided to get one. You can always substitute the fountain drink in the combo for a shake. I wanted both, so I went with a small shake. At Culver's, you pull up to the drive-thru window and pay. I used a credit card. The transaction was smooth. You then get a number to hang on your car window and you pull up to a wait area. Butter burgers need time to be made. My order came pretty quickly. A friendly guy handed me everything and said, "I hope you enjoy your meal." That nice, personalized touch is one reason why I am rating my experience high. It was a first for me at any Culver's. I drove back to the hotel and chowed down. The mushroom and Swiss burger was so good. Ever bite was flavourful and melted in my mouth. I have always loved the combination of sauteed mushrooms with Swiss cheese. The beef was seasoned perfectly and was so buttery good. I am drooling just reliving how yummy it was. I got Culver's signature crinkle-cut fries. They are so perfect with ketchup. The extra ridges hold the ketchup nicely with each dip. My Diet Pepsi washed everything down. It hit the spot. I had my small pumpkin spice custard shake for dessert. OMG, it was so yummy. I love pumpkin spice. It was creamy and pumpkiny (word?) spice good. I wish this flavour were on the menu year-round. I would definitely return to this Culver's. Next time, I'll try having a meal in the restaurant and check out what the interior is like. (420)

Just ate here at culvers. The food was delicious, but my god was the service from hannah at the counter impeccable. Her verbiage was phenomenal and she even pointed to my cup anticipating that I would forget it. Give this girl a raise!

While visiting Minnesota, I wanted something that we don't have in California. Many of my friends recommended trying Culver's. I heard their mushroom and Swiss burger was good, along with their Wisconsin cheese curds, and their shakes! I would definitely recommend their shakes, they're very creamy and easy to drink. I think we got a caramel or turtle shake. I think I liked their butter burger with cheese and everything in it, their regular burgers just reminded me of a McDonald's cheese burger. I was t impressed with the mushroom and Swiss burger. Their crinkle cut fries are pretty basic. They also have meals like meatloaf and veggies which is what my brother's gf got. Drive thru is easy, and when you pick up they tell you to pull up in spots and they bring the food to your car. I definitely recommend getting a shake, and the cheese curds! But be prepared and know that it's a lot of calories.

Burnt old tenders, old mash potatoes...why did it take 30 min wait in drive thru to get old food.

Food was ok. Drive thru was way too loud due to freeway noise. Would recommend going inside next time.

We also ordered some drinks (You're My Boy Blue & the Rhubarb/Ginger Gin Fizz). Both were a perfect balance of refreshing and fruity. I ordered the brisket mac & cheese (pictured) and was immediately in love. Truly the definition of comfort food. As it was my birthday, we were able to finish off the meal with a slice of rainbow cake. We will definitely be back, as there are so many things we didn't get this time that we want to try

We ordered the Candied Bacon flight to share; the menu listed the bacon flight flavors (whiskey jalapeño BBQ, roasted chile brown sugar, honey mustard, 4-pepper blend) and the 8 large, thick slices looked inviting but we had no idea which pieces were which flavor. *Management Suggestion: Get little toothpicks or flags so diners know what they're tasting!* That said, while I tried two pieces I thought looked good and I enjoyed them, RC munched through them unaware they were different flavors, lol. My take: they were ok. I also ordered the French Onion soup as I love trying different restaurants' take on it. Five stars for the soup, it was absolutely delicious. A thick piece of crusty bread topped with melted cheese that dripped over the crock topped rich, delicious caramelized onions and just enough beef stock to be able to call it soup. Banging. For our mains, RC ordered ribs with a side of Buffalo Brussels Sprouts. The ribs had good flavor but were definitely not fall-off-the-bone; more like saw from the bone. We both love Brussels but the beef-tallow fried sprouts with Buffalo sauce and caked in melted bleu cheese crumbles were not good. If you don't like Brussels, you might like these because any sprout flavor was overwhelmed by the bleu cheese. For my main I tried the braised Short Rib Ravioli, generous ravioli in a very rich cream sauce then topped with (I think) bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. I ate one raviolo and it wasn't for me. I thought the filling was bland and the sauce didn't meld with the flavor. I didn't eat it, the manager came to apologize and ask if I wanted something else, but RC was close to finished and I declined. Good on them for taking it off my bill without me asking. Service was five star, atmosphere nice, although the huge flat screens everywhere were a distraction lacking sound or captions. The bourbon selection looked great and I momentarily wished I could try some! :D

We dined in at Tavern 4&5 with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made in advance and our table got seated quickly upon arrival. Similar to any tavern, the dining in experience is laid back and casual. You do not need to be dressed up by any measure to eat here. The menu is robust and I had a difficult time choosing as every item sounded great. A few members in our party had been here before and recommended the Thai chicken lettuce wraps off the appetizer menu and they did not disappoint. It was very fresh and I could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. For my main entree, I got the Chicken Yum Yum which is a bowl with fried chicken, ginger soy sauce, coconut fried rice, mushrooms, edamame, egg, green onions, sesame seeds and yum yum sauce. It was nice to be able to find an Oriental meal at a tavern. Our service was excellent for having such a large party and I felt as if the prices were reasonable. Looking ahead, I can't wait to return as there's so many other great items that I hope to try including the sweet chili cauliflower appetizer, tator tots and harvest apple salad. Ordered the chili lime shrimp salad. Comes with 6 pieces of grilled shrimp on top of greens, avocado, tortilla strips. Overall great salad but we noticed the portion size is smaller. Also tried the grilled chicken grain bowl. Comes with grilled chicken, steamed green beans, greens, and quinoa. Dressing is a sweet plum sauce. It was decent but pricey at $23. The star of our lunch was the key lime dessert. More like a deconstructed pie but huge and so good! Restaurant was busy, service was mediocre, bathroom is clean. Large shared parking lot

We saw the burger of the month in December was a tater-tot hotdish burger online and man did it look like a 10/10. We drove about 30 minutes and ordered two along with a past and red sauce kids meals. While we waited we ordered a flight to try several options: the peanut butter bear was amazing, the cider / seltzers were good (Sherbet was the best) but the sugar cookie was meh. Once our good arrived a was already bummed as it didn't look like the photo. The burgers weren't cooked to order and overall there wasn't a lot of flavor for a burger with so much going on. I felt like it needed more goop....that's the best part of a hotdish, the glue. The past with red sauce wasn't well received but kids are kids. It didn't look amazing, but I didn't except much. With the menu being as big as it is I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else, but I'm not in a rush to return.
