So many childhood memories to be had at this particular White Castle, as i used to live right in back of Queens Center Mall in my teens. I frequently spent most of my young life, eating here with friends after school and causing all types of silly shenanigans....Ahhh! to be a kid again. Fast forward 20 years and little has changed. Unfortunately i picked BLACK FRIDAY to go grab some sliders, perhaps the worst possible day to go for sliders. upon stepping out of my car, I was surrounded by Deal seeking, shopping bag yielding lunatics. We were shoulder to shoulder, belly to belly...and my only intention was avoiding there frantic charge into JC Penny for a couple of bucks off some linens. Approaching the door there was a big poster advertising a turkey slider with sweet potato fries which did momentarily gain consideration. But once inside the aroma of the steamed burgers blocked any possible change of my initial pilgrimage. Every table was taken, drive thru was a mad house, quickly approached the counter and ordered 20 castles with cheese. In under 5 mins my burgers where served up. With little ability to ignore the growing aroma from the bag on the passenger seat....I dig in, fingers first, slid a few out. I have to say, the softness of the bun, the slim patty with the onions and cheese was so flavorful, i cant imagine myself enjoying it much more now, than i did when i was a kid. read more

What could I say about White Castle? That it gives me a stomach ache almost every time I have it? It's not so bad though. Burger sliders are still a classic. Prices? not so much. I realized the main reason for my stomaches came from eating their deep fried stuff such as fries, calamari, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and so on. At this White Castle, their deep fryer is right behind the cashiers and you can see their oil. It looks so old, dark and disgusting. I have reason to believe that they don't routinely change their oil. This is the only White Castle that I know of in my area so it's hard to dislike them too much. read more

I just have to come here every time I'm in New York or Jersey. It's a simple burger that is in slider form and the taste is okay, really nothing special. With not many people there, we were surprised we had to wait 15 minutes for our food. Fries were bad, they had barely any taste to them. The location is great at it's between two shoppin' malls!! What can I say about the food. It's White Castle! Either you like the lil horse meat sammiches or ya don't. This location also serves rice and beans. I don't know if any other White Castles are doin' that, nor have I tried rice and beans at this location. This past weekend, I tried the pulled pork sammich. It's about as nauseating as those vomit-inducing, Flashdance inspired commercials. I guess the best way I could describe it is to say it's like a southern version of a Sloppy Joe. I love Sloppy Joe's though! Anywho, I don't think it was such a good idea havin' my first pulled pork experience at White Castle of all places. I'm gonna have to try it again from another source. Goin' to Georgia next month. I'll wait till I get down south to try one. Back to the WC, the employess at this location are always friendly. I went to this place solely because of the movie Herald and Kumar. Typical Fast food chain. Nothing special about it in any way-except their sliders. What I ordered: original slider, chicken breast slider, fish slider. Speed of food: It took a little longer than I thought for a fast food restaurant to spew out my food. Especially for tiny sliders too. Although I have to give into consideration that it was 11 at night and there were only three team members working. Taste: Personally, I liked the original sliders the best. The chicken and the fish was eh and not that tasty. Value: Each beef slider is .97. I'd say it's pretty good value. Would it give you an one way ticket to the restroom like all fast food chain does- most likely (it comes with the territory) My 2 cent: If you're a west coaster like me, you need to go and try it. I usually leave the office after hours so I'm at this White Castle's joint between 1AM and 3AM. I suppose there's no line almost all of the time. The guy behind the counter is friendly, and if you ask for a some extra sauce for the chicken rings or fish nibbler he gives it to you. I usually have the french fries with some cheese sauce and either the chicken rings or fish nibblers. It's fast food everyone, so you know it's fried. Know your consequences in advance. Good location, near all the buses and subway. I can just imagine how busy this place must be in the daytime.If you're driving there is a big parking space. There's a drive through as well. read more

white castle. mmm luscious little beef patties topped with juicy onions, a pickle, a slice of american cheese and served on a lovely soft square bun. i can eat almost 10 of these and still want more. oh man that sounds sickening but that was my last white castle meal. it was simple, satisfying, and what i craved at the moment. the white castle itself is in a busy area, right near queens center and the other queens shopping area. and irony of ironies, it's right near st john's hospital of queens (hopefully it stays open). read more

The last time I came to White Castle when I last visited NY in 2005. Now that I live here and there is a White Castle within walking distance, we had to go get some. We walked back on our way back from the mall. This location is busy but they are pretty quick. The cashier was pretty nice and didn't mind answering our questions. We ended up getting 10 sliders (no onions or pickles) and 2 fries. The sliders are okay, they are perfectly packaged in their individual carton. Even though we ordered it without onions, we can still taste onion flavor on the burger which is okay. The meat is pretty thin on the sliders and I wish it was a little bit thicker. The fries is good, regular crinkle fries. It was kind of pricey as the total came out to $18 because I think we got cheese on our sliders and 2 medium fries. But I would definitely come back again. A good (new, for me anyway) fast food option. read more

WHne you have a woman go up to you and ask if I bought my chocolate shake here I thought man I would not come here late at night if this is the crowed it attracts. Seriously, it's hard to beat this place when you hungry at 3 in the morning. Their food are made to order, so it's always fresh. The Jalapeno cheese burger, the chicken rings and the onion rings are my go to picks. Sometimes there's a line at the drive through, but the food is good and I don't mind waiting. read more

Ok, so let's begin with saying this white castle doesn't offer "fat guy out of car service". What i mean is when you're fat to the point like i am where you need to have 2 - 4.5 employees push you out the driver's seat so you can get on your merry way. So i waited on line for about 10 minutes (the same amount of time it takes for me to find my p***s ) and when i got up to order some lady that reminded me of a mix of the Undertaker and Whoopie Goldberg said "What can i get for you..... baby?" I told her i wanted a number 3 4 and 7 meals when she stopped me and said "I asked you what you wanted, not your area code" I was so appalled like Kanye West. After getting my food, i went and sat down and GUESS WHAT the seats broke. I had to eat my burgers sitting indian style on the dirty floor but no that's not the worst of it all. Some blonde haired sleaked back hair with torn fingers came in and started asking me for girl advice. Jesus christ this guy was mentally incapable of babysitting a carrot.
