Can't go wrong with WC. I moved out here recently and was pleased to see that I had one close to me after seeing a 100+ year location close near my old apartment in Jackson Heights Queens. I stopped and ate here right away to make sure I didn't have the crave for too much longer. I will be coming back here to eat the juicy burgers every chance I get. Long Live White Castle.

I've been going here for years and I thought I wrote a review. I know people call them belly bombers and all kinds of different names. But once I'm in the mood nothing can take the place of those old-fashioned White Castle burgers and they're thick shakes. I remember when I was younger the only White Castle was in West Hempstead and we would go out of our way to get them, brings back memories now they are all over and I still crave them now and then.

My 1st and probably last W.C. meal! LOL!

All the hype was from HAROLD and KUMAR's WHITE CASTLE. I was in the area for my trip and I asked one of my local friends and they said there was one not too far from the hotel. Ok...being from L.A...I had to try this once in my life. It's like going to L.A. and not having In N Out. So first off...this place wasn't in the best of neighborhoods. What amazed me was the W.C. must of staffed the place with like 15 employees behind the counter. I took a picture of the menu (100 pieces of their burgers for like $35.99 if I recall) and they manager yelled at me. LOL! Anyways...I tried their special 2 cheeseburgers, fries and drink. We also had the mozarella sticks. I gotta say..the burgers sucked (like I said....all hyped was from the movie) but the moza sticks were awesome! Now I can say I tried the imfamous WHITE CASTLE burger joint. I don't think I'll ever go there again unless it's for a late night after club run.

Gross. Restaurant was dirty. Food was greasy and tasteless. Better off getting the frozen White Castle at the supermarket !

All American Hamburger Drive-In offers old-fashioned food with fresh tastes at affordable prices. The menu features fresh, never-frozen beef burgers, crispy fries, onion rings, and milkshakes. It offers walk-up, outdoor service only. There is a good sized parking lot in the back and sides. There are a few tables in front to enjoy your meal or take it to go. On a Saturday afternoon, the lines moved quickly. The whole process of walking in, ordering, and picking up my order was all done in less than 10 minutes. My order# was called when it is ready. I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese ($5.05), double cheeseburger ($4.55), large fries ($3.15), large onion rings ($3.05), and strawberry shake ($3.15). This was my second time at All American Hamburger Drive-In and the food is consistent. Their burgers are fresh and juicy. The prices are definitely reasonable.

The potato chips w garlic aioli was also great. The house salad was HUGE and was plenty to share with 2 or 3. Parkview's sandwich game is on point! The Reuben is HUGE, corned beef is nicely shaved so it was easy to eat. The French Dip also had the beef shaved down nicely, perfectly balanced sandwich served with an excellent au jus! The blue burger was cooked perfectly with a bun that can handle all the meat along with the blue cheese, bacon jam and frizzled onions. Again the portions were all huge and we took home 4 heavy containers of leftovers that we all look forward to enjoying again tomorrow. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. All the staff were very nice. And while the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, the noise level was very tolerable. Lots of families as the menu has plenty but not too much but all the classics. I would like to try their chopped cheese next and their Philly cheesesteak, both look great. And the Mac n cheese looked legit as well. Can't wait to come back!!!

My 7yr old orders chicken nuggets. Over cooked , dried out and tasteless. Never again.

It's nice to go to someplace new to me. It was hard to find parking because of all the snow from the 3rd snowstorm that is still not clearing the streets and sidewalks. Hubby dropped me off and found one. It's a kitchy looking place with many TVs and multiple levels. The door to the place looks like an English phone booth with 2 dialup phones in the entryway. Our waiter Joe was very nice. The girl who sat us gave us our menus right away. I had to wait for hubby to park, but I had time to look over the menu. All the choices sounded good. Hubby wound up with a Spinach Benedict with Roasted Tomatoes with nicely Crispy fries and a lemon Benedict sauce to die for. I got a Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions on whole grain toast. The Arugula salad that was also on the plate was covered lightly with a lemony dressing. I added Cholula Sauce and it was so good. Another point I'd like to make is that the bottles of hot sauces were clean with no cruddy tops. That turns me off so good for them. I would definitely go back.

The night was bingo night but that aside we had a good time. You can eat both inside and outside. The outside offers seating in front and back. I'm a big outdoor seating person so we ate outdoors. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad. The vegetables refresh, they gave you a ton of variety of berries, and the overall size was terrific.

All in all a solid place for Mexican fare with great drinks and mostly attentive service. Opted for a spicy margarita (rocks) with tajin rim - outstanding preparation. Very generous pour, but not so much that the liquor took over tastewise. Would absolutely order again. Wifey liked her frozen strawberry marg enough to get a second. Started with the made to order guac appetizer and I must say it's one of the best I've ever had. She doesn't do spicy so they were kind enough to leave the jalapenos on the side for me. Even with that subtraction the guac was super flavorful and clearly made fresh as advertised. Perfectly paired with their homemade chips which came out hot and perfectly crispy, clearly just made. For the main I went with one of their specials which was the enchiladas poblanas - nicely elevated beyond the standard chicken enchiladas with some delicious poblanos, cream sauce corn and more. Would definitely get it again but likely ask for a side other than the rice & beans. If I had to complain about anything, it would be those - the taste was all cumin to the point that it made me wonder if someone accidentally spilled too much in the pot, not pleasant by any means but certainly not enough to ruin an otherwise good meal. Wifey had the sizzling chicken skillet and thoroughly enjoyed. Desserts we went for the tres leches and the churros. Churros were tasty and clearly fresh made but they didn't give us the chocolate sauce the menu advertised and it felt like something was missing when we had them, probably should've asked for it but that's on us. Tres leches was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but quite tasty. Service was never anything short of friendly but could've been a bit more attentive. We were never asked about second drinks until after we'd finished the entrees, including water refill that only came when I asked for it. I get busy dinner rushes but something so simple could've easily been fixed, especially had they stopped by during the meal to see how we were liking it. Those little things to the side it was overall a good meal and a very nice place that we'd definitely try again.
