i went to popeyes @ 155 w. sunrise highway in Lindenhurst N.Y. about on 3/31/2026 the girls hardly spoke english and i do not speak spanish. they not only were rude but also very nasty. 1 young lady was very nice but hardly spoke. i asked for 3 piece signature chicken on the $5.00 special. i asked for 3 pieces of chicken breast she told me another $2.00 more and then raised it again to another $4.00.. this is unheard of and in all of the other popeyes i have been to they have never ever have done this. plus all of the others are extremely nice and well spoken. i was in store and this was not a 3rd party or delivery. there is no excuse to charge $4.00 more on a $5.00 menu I refused the order and walked out. and she mumbled something as i turned away. if this was the first time i was in one of your stores i would never go back to any of them. but your other stores are great and so is the chicken. read more

These new wings are volcano hot. The meat of the wing is so red, like it was soaked in hot sauce before frying, then the sauces were spicy. We tried the honey BBQ and garlic parmesean. Their chicken is pretty good whether you get the regular or extra crispy or spicy they're all good And if you want it freshly cooked they'll do that for you too but you have to request it They're mashed potatoes are pretty good and also their coleslaw And every once in a while they will have fried crawfish which were pretty good but they don't give you enough of them My only problem with them is sometimes there is a language barrier between you and the person that's waiting on you but they seem to be taking care of that also read more

I had never been to Popeyes before coming to this one, so I can't compare to how things are run in others. In addition, I have only gone through the drive-through on this one as I'm usually on the go for getting this. Unfortunately, the first time I decided to come to Popeyes was in the midst of this whole sandwich craze, so I've had to skip this stop in the past as both the line inside and outside are absolutely wild (ie. wrapped around the store). The food I've gotten here has always been fresh - and I think I've found new favorite fast-food chicken tenders! They've been crispy, hot, and have a great combination of spices on the mild tenders. They also come with good fries, seasoned, again, and a biscuit, which can be a tad too buttery for me, but that's just not my jam. My main complaint has been the speed of the drive-through. Even if there were only a handful of cars in front of me, I need to make sure I have a spare 10 minutes on my commute, which admittedly is not too bad, but more than I'd expect for fast food service. The staff here is friendly, and you really can tell they're putting in the work here, regardless of the speed at which the drive-through line moves. For the time being, I won't be trying their sandwich - I plan on trying to skip out on that craze, but the chicken tenders are good enough that I don't really feel like I'm missing out. read more

Ive come here like 30+ times. The service is always ridiculously inconsistent. Sometimes they do it properly and i get all my order and other times they leave out random things. Today I wanted to try the blackened tenders. I attempted calling thw restaurant multiple times but no one answered. People shouldn't be surprised that Popeyes has high ratings, especially this beast of a location! This place is located between Sunrise and the Straight Path next to a Dunkin Donuts and a Dominos. My brother and I saw the butterfly shrimp special for lent on tv one night and we came here the next day. The shrimp is greatly seasoned with a little kic to it, the fries here are always great (not for the heart), and the fish fillets they have are so flakey and fresh! Yes you have Pudgies, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings & KFC to name a few but none come close to southern fried chicken like Popeyes. It's truly fingerlickin good. I recommend you to try it if you haven't already. They're not many locations in Long Island. This location is my favorite. They will even cook the chicken fresh while you wait. The chicken as far as I'm concerned is all fresh because it doesn't stay under the heat lamps long. Constant flow of customers. Quick efficient friendly service at the counter. Seating in booths in dining area can comfortably seat 25 people. Specials decorate the windows which are around the whole restaurant and inside as well. Tall table seating is available too. Restaurant is clean and kept filled with necessary condiments and utensils. If you're in the area check out this location for some goooood fried chicken. This so the first place i went when I left the airport. Now granted I know that it was late @1am however if your business is gonna be opne what ever tkme of the day you should still serve fresh food. The cahsier was so dull and not pleased at all and whole i was placing my order i was trying to advise the sauce I want and she stopped me and told me to tell her once i got to the window. To celebrate National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day, I decided to order Popeyes because they also had a free sandwich coupon which I applied to my mobile order and then checked out. When I got to Popeyes to pick up my order, the manager wouldn't allow me to claim it after she wouldn't acknowledge me the first time while I was waiting patiently to speak to her. One of her staff saw me trying to get her attention and she finally approached me after they spoke to her in Spanish about me wanting to speak with her. Stopped in around 10PM on the way home from Rise of the Jack O' Lanterns. Was craving something a little heavier than a snack. The gentleman helping me was a little curt with me, but otherwise OK. The chicken was excellent and not greasy at all. Which was great considering it was fried. The biscuit that came with it was very good and tasted buttery and the mac and cheese was decent but probably not super fresh.
