Ordered 4 Dozen of the Cheese Steak Perogies for the Eagles Wildcard Weekend tailgate. They were the talk of the entire tailgate. Some fried onions and a little seasoning. FANTASTIC. They are on the larger side. I'd say two normal size perogies equal one from White Eagle. Definitely call ahead if you're getting a large order. The service was top notch. It will not dissapoint. First time going to White Eagle Foods and I got the cheese babka and chrusciki both were delicious.

I had the opportunity to eat the famous White Eagle pierogies at the Burlington County Farm Fair. I was greeted with friendly service! The menue had a myriad of different pierogies flavors. I had the cheese steak & bacon & cheese. One word: Fantastic!! Be careful, if you think your are getting Mrs T's size pierogies, think again. One White Eagle pierogi is the size of at least two Mrs. T's and twice as thick! The cheese steak perogies were my favorite! The bacon, cheese & potato filled pierogies were great too! I will definitely be visiting White Eagle when I'm craving delicious polish cuisine! read more

Anyone saying these pierogi's are good clearly doesn't know Polish food. I bought the Kapusta (Sauerkraaut) pierogi's and, yes, they were giant. The problem, however, was the inside-- chunks of onion and celery mixed in with the sauerkraut. Disgusting. The only thing that is supposed to be inside a Kapusta pierogi is the Kapusta. For Easter, I placed an order from here for kielbasa, pierogies, and babka. We tried the farmer's cheese pierogies which were amazing. They were quite big- more like the size of an empanada than a pierogi. Definitely worth the price. The chocolate cheese babka was delicious and the kielbasa tasted just like the kielbasa I had growing up. We'll definitely be back for more. read more

My husband and I decided to try something new for dinner since we like to stay home for NYE. So we decided to come in and grab some items to try out. We bought the sauerkraut pierogis and some stuffed cabbages. Both were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back! White eagle foods will now be a part of our NYE tradition! I wanted to pick up a couple of pierogies for Christmas Eve and didn't want to drive into Philly so I took a look around to see if there was somewhere near by. I found White Eagles Food on Yelp, just changed over from Masonville Deli, and they were nicely tucked into the corner of a small shopping center. There was ample parking and easy enough to spot their sign. Tiny little store, clean and easy to navigate. Freezer/ fridge to the left, all pierogies, labeled. I picked up potato cheddar for Christmas eve and cheesesteak for a later day to enjoy. 6 or 7 in each container, about 8 bucks ea container, is maybe a dollar more than Philly, but they are HUGE. These puppies had weight to them. Only saw 2 babkas when I was in, but I didn't need any that day and a deli case with all the sausage, kielbasa goodness. I tested out a cheesesteak when I got home because I was already famished. 2 filled me up. More like cheeseburger but so damn good!! So I had very high hopes for the potato cheddar. Here's the funny part; got to my cousins for Christmas eve, got to cooking, loaded our plates up. My mom took one, said it was sauerkraut. And then my cousin, same thing! But mine, mine happened to be the potato cheddar lol. They loved the sauerkraut ones and the potato cheddar was absolutely amazing. We had cooked one more, I poked it, kraut. We had 2 left that we didn't cook and I was fingers crossing that they were potato cheddar but they weren't. I did try a kraut one and it is good, my first time trying that kind, but would have loved the actual potato cheddar. Seasoned very well and the dough was just the right thickness. I'll be back for more and hopefully the pierogies won't be mixed up. read more

Those who criticize the food here clearly don't know Polish food. Much of the stuff we bought, the pierogi (with grzyby), kapusta/grzyby soup and the "regular" kielbasa are VERY close to my grandmother's cooking. It's also very close to the "farmer" food I enjoyed when I spent two consecutive summers in Swilcza, a village not far from Rzeszow. One of the best offerings is the pierogi with just potato (NO CHEESE PLEASE!!!), EXACTLY as I remember. We bought my favorites but I look forward to the "white" kielbasi (must be from a different region (???)) and placki ziemniaczane. Philly and Trenton DO have good Polish food but this place is absolutely the equal and VERY traditional. No need to travel far. read more

Completely forgot to take photos - sorry!! Noticed this place a few weeks ago and decided to try it. I apparently came in on the wrong day. The owner ?!? said they just came back from vacation so didn't have a lot of items. What I did get was delicious!!!!!! The best pierogis since my grandmother made them. Better than all the places I've tried in philly. Tried the farmers cheese - my favorite since that is the closest to what I had growing up. Also tried the potato cheddar broccoli. Very good. Filled to capacity. Dough didn't fall apart during cooking. Was also able to get some smoked kielbasa- regular snd cherry wood. Both outstanding. I can't wait to go back and try the fresh kielbasa and other pierogi flavors. Prices were decent for what you get. read more

Terrific local find tucked into a small unassuming strip mall. Traditional polish foods and specialties. Try the double smoked kielbasa - delicious! Stuffed cabbage reminded me of mom's! Just bought a whole bunch of pierogis and kielbasa from this gem of a store (now called White Eagle Foods). ABSOLUTELY delicious. The pierogis were HUGE and very tasty. The stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes were fantastic. My family was tired of eating the same things over and over so we decided to go this route and sooooooo glad we did. Delicious food. Love the polish foods and the pierogis are terrific. My only gripe is they run out of the popular items around holidays. But that happens when the food is good. I wish they had mini pierogis as they'd make a great side dish too or appetizer for parties. Their service is friendly and can't wait to go back for more. read more
