I bought a Groupon for Carpet Cleaning (2 rooms) but also needed my stairs and a hallway done. The tech arrived on time and was nice, even calling ahead like I had requested (you'd be surprised how many companies won't do this and then just leave if you aren't home!) After checking the area he said the hallway could be covered under the Groupon since it wasn't that big. I paid extra for an "enzyme" cleaner - I'm not sure if this is a scam or not, but I had lots of cat barf stains and figured it couldn't hurt. Carpet cleaning removed almost all of my stains - one room looked horrible before and looks almost brand new now. Very happy with that! One large cat stain couldn't be helped much, but I had figured that would be the case. I was happy with the carpet cleaning and the tech's professionalism. read more

I have had White Glove clean my carpets in the past and was so pleased to have them back to clean my dryer vent and my furnace air ducts and vents. I even had them clean the first floor carpets again so my home was ready for christmas company. The best part was I gave them my garage code and came home to a fresh clean home. The air smells cleaner and the furnace doesn't have the restricted whistle it had when I left for work. My dryer vent was completely clogged and I had no idea!! Scary. Found White Glove through their Groupon. Great service. Great communication. Very professional in appearance and demeanor. I had a true consultation on site. As I mentioned to them, "my carpet was so dirty I was embarrassed for the carpet cleaner to see it!" They upsold me a bit, but with good reason. I don't mind because the carpet is really amazingly clean. I paid extra to get a severely dirty carpet clean -- and it IS clean. It was awful... We bought a house with white carpet in a dining room / living room. (Who does that!?) It then suffered under three toddlers, one puppy, and several miserable spot cleaning and professional cleaning attempts over the past 8 years. I was literally planning to rip it out and paint the subfloor - the carpet was that bad. I was hoping to just get it touched up enough to make it another 6 months or so. Amazingly, the white carpet is actually white. Almost every single mark is gone. I did pay extra to utilize a commercial machine that goes beyond traditional steam extraction equipment, but it was completely worth every penny. I just saved thousands on carpet replacement that I can now put toward wood floors that is the ultimate long-term plan when the kitchen is remodeled within the next 2 or 3 years. I'm very satisfied. I will use them again for regular cleaning maintenance. I've used other cleaners in the past, they only made the problem worse! White Glove told me what they were going to do... what they thought would work... and it worked. Great job! My carpets were so dirty! That is until the crew at White Glove Carpet came out. I called today and they came out on the same day ... I live in a small apartment so it is not difficult for my carpets to get dirty in a short amount of time. The crew pretreated all of the stains and cleaned the steps and the other rooms in a little over an hour.. they even cleaned my area rugs a no extra charge. I called White Glove Carpet Cleaning for an estimate to clean my 2 bedroom house. They were the first company I called and the only company I called as they were very professional and had an amazing rate. Two guys came in and started working right away, one started setting up the Vacuum and the other started spot treating the stains. I let them know about the 3 stains, after those were treated he walked around the rest of the house and spot treated numerous other spots. They worked together very fast and efficiently. I was also told if I noticed anything after the carpets were dry to give him a call and he would come back and make it right. I hired white glove to clean my carpets and had an amazing experience. My carpets were filthy!!! I had stains that were in the carpet before I moved in that the previous owner told me would not come out. A year and a half later along with my 2 kids food and milk and traffic staining the technicians turned my carpets brand new!! Seriously, every stain came out! I needed the carpet in my basement cleaned (hadn't been cleaned for about 7 years), and my experience with White Glove Carpet Cleaning was exceptional. They were fast, professional, and friendly, and even threw in complementary ScotchGuard treatment because they were just five minutes late. They gave me a quick quote over the phone that was very competitive. They not only did a great job, but even got out several stains that I had assumed were permanent. They also assured me that if any stains reappeared in the next few days (which they said sometimes happens as the carpet dries), they would come back and re-treat the spots free of charge. Professional, courteous, dependable. I had just re-done my bathroom and figured that we were going to need to re-do the carpet in the hallway as there had been a LOT of tracking dirt in and out of the room. I do believe there was actually grout on the carpet from the tile as well. I figured before I replaced it, I would give these guys a shot.... pretty amazing. They also did the stairs, rug, a couple of rooms, the dryer vent and the ducts. All around awesome. I was really glad to have friendly cleaners who were happy to explain what they were doing. They left me with little plastic booties to keep the carpet safe and little plastic tabs to put under the feet of any furniture that might bleed into the wet carpet...talk about thinking of everything! I found White Glove through Living Social, also researched and liked that it was a local company. I was able to schedule cleaning within the same week. They provide quotes over the phone. They walked me through my house and using a black light I could see where my little dog has had accidents beyond the ones we knew about. We had to pay to use special enzymes, but they were necessary. Two Technicians knocked out the whole house in two hours using 2 trucks. Very professional and the owner was one of the technicians. You get what you pay for. You can go with another company and maybe pay a little less, but you will not see the same results and have the same experience. read more

I purchased a Groupon for two rooms of carpet cleaning. I've tried three times to schedule the service. The first two times, we were not able to find a time they were willing to come up to my area (less than 10miles outside of mpls, so it's not like it's that far away! Plus, I confirmed before I bought ut that they service my area). The third time I tried contacting them, they did not even respond to my request. Definitely NOT impressed. read more

We have used White Glove twice. The first time (Sept 2010) the service was fine, the people were friendly, but they had an issue with their hand-held credit card device used to process payment. I was forewarned that I might be charged twice. I was. Fine. I called to get it resolved, but it wasn't. In the meantime we scheduled another service with them, but we very disappointed. The carpets didn't seem any cleaner after they left than before. The techs were in and out in less than 20 minutes, which could be fine, but I feel like they skimped out. My biggest concern is that I still have no resolution to the double charge and it's been 8 months. I even emailed the company owner directly and asked for resolution, letting him know that I'd file a BBB complaint if I didn't get reimbursed for the double charge. He has never responded. I would never in a million years recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of carpet companies out there and it is not worth the hassle of one that doesn't take customer satisfaction seriously. read more

They went over and above to make the place look unbelievable. The next day we had the carpets cleaned. After I arranged for daycare, picked up the whole house, the person who should be here at 12, is not here at 12:30. I call and try to reach the office. Nobody answers; but they were there listening. She called me in a condescending manner and informed me that the arrival time was between 12-2. Which they did not tell me, because I wouldn't have made the appointment otherwise. When I press her about this, she says it is because of driving time. Bull..t! I know driving times around here. If there was a blizzard, maybe 2 hours can happen. And they go places with a set time appointment. They know how long they are getting paid for, and I am sure that they don't hang around just because. How is it not possible to make a precise appointment give or take 15???? I returned my groupon, which was a birthday gift ; so thanks. read more

My father-in-law gave me his groupon after he learned his home was outside of the service range. I figured great, free carpet cleaning. I have two cats and a dog, and had quite a few stains from them, as well as a lingering fruit smoothie stain courtesy of my nephew. I called and set up an appointment. The woman I talked to was very friendly and the appointment was set about 3 weeks out, which was fine since I was in no rush. The day of the appointment, they called ahead which allowed me time to get home from work and let them in. They asked what my problems were and I pointed out a few urine accident spots and the smoothie spot. They recommended a deoderizer and scotch guard treatment because of the animals. I paid the additional 60 bucks for both and went back to work. They were very nice, locked up the house, and even offered to let out my cats from the bedroom they were locked in. When I got home, everything was beautiful. The carpet was white, no visible stains. The problems I've had began after the treatment. I have no idea what was put onto my carpet, but originally, if my cat would pee, I would put my little hand held carpet shampooer over the spot, it would clean it, and it would look basically like new and remove the urine smell. I tried that same process after the cleaning company came, and it would clean the carpet, and look fine when it was wet, and then 2 days later when it dried, there would be a dry, bright yellow spot and it would smell like urine again. No matter how many times I cleaned it, I could not get the urine out of the carpet. I finally learned that I soak up as much as I could when it was wet, spray it with a carpet cleaner, and then the next day after it was damp, I could soak up the rest of the urine. I have no idea if this is normal for scotch guard or whatever was put on my carpet, but it was a pain in the butt for the month that it took me to learn how to clean it. My troubles did not stop there, now I'm noticing that EVERY stain I ever cleaned is now popping back up. Each is now a dull gray color (looks great on my white carpet). I had used my handheld carpet shampooer on almost every stain, which cleaned a small 6 inch in diameter circular spot, and now little circular grey areas are showing up everywhere I've used it. I'm talking about stains that I had cleaned 8 months ago and never saw again are now coming back. I'm not sure what this cleaning company uses, but it seems like they know how to temporarily get your carpets white, but then past stains eventually start to come back and haunt you. I've never had a carpet that is so difficult to clean. I'm to the point where I'm going to re-carpet my living room I'm so fed up. I would not recommend going with this cleaning service if my life depended on it. read more

Beware of hidden fees. I purchased a Groupon for $85 to have 4 rooms clean. I was not informed that they charge $5 per stair, I had to pay a $25 environmental waste fee, $25 fuel surcharge, and $30 for cleaning solution. So $156.25 was what the bill came to in addition to my $85 - $241.25 for 2 rooms, stairs and small hallway. This is 3x what I spent last year to have the same areas cleaned. The job is average, so I would encourage you to find another more reputable company to do business with. read more

I would never recommend this company to anyone. We made sure that furniture moving was part of the deal, we were told it was. The employee came to clean and said they dont move furniture with living social deals. I called the owners (Mike) wife and explained the problem to her. She called me back and said yes it should have been moved and they could come back and fix it at two different times, later this afternoon or next week. I chose next week, she then went ahead and called me difficult because I chose an option that she provided to me. Then to top it all off, I told them that the hoses from the cleaning were pulled across the corner of my base board and ruined it, her response "that happens" WHAT?! Wrecking my home is just part of the deal? This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Terrible work, terrible customer service. Never again! I strongly urge others to stay away as well. read more
