*****PLEASE Read ALL reviews and unprofessional responses before you decide to sign up for your MOVE FROM HELL with WHITE GLOVE!!! I had a 4-day move with white-glove movers and they were AWFUL. The move was the result of a burst pipe in the ceiling in my kitchen, so yes, a couple rooms weren't in great condition, but the garage, for example was ready to rock ( see photo). Regardless, it still required a move. Furthermore, im handicapped and cant move anything myself... (see photo of my hand.) (See Image) The Project Manager flat out cancelled the walk-through after i rescheduled from Friday to Monday. Then he tried to lie saying it was me who cancelled. Then they showed up totally overstaffed and unprepared w/o correct moving supplies. On each of the (4) days they were supposed to work (8) hours minus lunch. On no day did they arrive before 10 to 10:30ish and leave after 3:30 (except the last day). They worked roughly 5 hours per day, not the full 8. The contract said "estimated" which is how they wormed out of ghe 8-hr term. On the last day when i needed help getting my furniture placed correctly, the foreman kept throwing hissy fits because he had "another job to get to." He had the same situation on another day so i knew what was going on. They were notified i had a pool table which they said they could move. Then on the last day they balked and said the could not move it and contractually they were not obligated to do so. That became a huge situation. Ultimately they did what they were contracted to do. I had a lot of paintings which required "picture boxes" but instead of showing up prepared, the just ripped up boxes and "jerry-rigged" all my artwork. Then they gas lighted me saying that i had no clue when i had just moved my artwork a couple years prior using PICTURE BOXES. Furthermore, the put boxes marked for my apt into storage and vice versa. Quite frustrating... Now one consistency was that everyone wanted something. One guy wanted my golf clubs, another wanted a game console, another wanted a guitar amp and kitchen table and on and on... Now, i wonder if anythjng got stolen. Havent been able to confirm but i wouldnt be surprised.... Finally, in the review response, this exec is bragging over his companies 20 years of experience. Why, in 20 years do you have less than 25 YELP reviews? Perhaps because you keep changing the name of your business after the pile of crap reviews becomes untenable. Who knows who cares. Avoid White Glove Storage & Delivery - A Complete Nightmare - I left one start because zero is not an option I hired White Glove Storage & Delivery for a move in June of this year from Austin, TX, to Rockport, TX, expecting the "White Glove" experience they promise on their website. Instead, I endured negligence, unprofessionalism, and overcharging, resulting in significant damage to my belongings and unnecessary costs. False Promises White Glove claims to deliver an exceptional experience with "rigorously trained employees" who "carefully load your treasures into company-owned trucks" and take "every precaution necessary." This couldn't be further from the truth. Damaged Items Several high-value items were destroyed or mishandled during the move: A custom Italian dresser was dropped and severely damaged. An Italian leather bar stool seat was sliced with a box cutter. Shelf pins for an Italian-made credenza were lost, rendering it unusable. A 75-inch Sony Bravia 4K television was clearly dropped, causing irreparable damage. Rather than taking responsibility for these issues, White Glove deflected blame. In the case of the TV, they even tried to pin the damage on my AV installers, despite clear evidence it was mishandled during transit. Insurance Oversight and Lack of Accountability Insurance was discussed when we contracted White Glove several months before the move, with the understanding that we would revisit and revise coverage closer to the move date. It was our expectation that this crucial topic would be raised again when finalizing the details. Shockingly, it was not. When we raised concerns about damages, White Glove refused to take responsibility, hiding behind their liability policy of $0.60 per pound. Their failure to follow through on the insurance discussion left us unfairly exposed to the consequences of their negligence. Overcharging and Poor Planning To make matters worse, I was overcharged due to their poor logistical decisions: Despite the delivery address being in Rockport, they lodged their team in Port Aransas, 32 miles away, resulting in daily 60-minute round trips (including ferry time). Hotels were readily available in Rockport, just 5 miles from the delivery site, but White Glove chose not to use them. On one day, I was even billed for a 2-hour ferry wait caused by their planning errors. Final Thoughts White Glove Storage & Delivery's reckless handling of my belongings, failure to uphold standard industry practices, refusal to take accountability, and exploitative billing practices have caused me immense financial and emotional stress. Their service is far from the "White Glove" experience they promise. If you value your belongings and expect professionalism, do not hire White Glove Storage & Delivery. My experience cost me thousands of dollars in damages and unnecessary charges--and no, they don't actually wear white gloves. read more

if I could give 0 stars I would, my spouse worked for this company and they sent him on a work trip 3.5 hours away where they went the cheap route and put them in a FILTHY hotel with human feces and dead roaches. His manger ana has sent him and all the feild workers to wrong locations multiple times 45minutes to an hour to the wrong location with the wrong supplies but turns and blames the feild workers. the managers then proceeded to call him on his work trip threatining termination because they sent them to a job where the house is yet done to be built so their job can't even be done. This company treats their workers like absolute SLAVES and pay them the absolute bare minimum promising a raise every week to string the poor guys along. read more

Set up appointment for a move at the end of December. Met with Patrick at my house who inventoried and said no problem on the dates. Waited two weeks and had not heard back after calls and texts to Patrick. Called main office and was told they had no record of my request. They completely ghosted us, Didn't return calls, and when someone answered the phone they kept passing it back to Patrick. Finally able to get them to admit they had no idea what they were doing when an estimator shows up, commits to a move and then forgets to do his job. DONT USE THEM read more

Horrible experiences. I have had to deal with this company 4 different times and they managed to screw up 3 of them. They ask you to schedule your pick time but they don't feel the need to have your items ready for pickup and you will have to wait as if you had not scheduled anything. Then they will lie and say that you're early to cover up their failure to do their job. If your company needs a warehousing or delivery company please choose someone other than them. It reflects negatively on your company and the buyer customer experience. I used this company in July of this year. I had three rings, two wedding bands with diamonds and one gold band which was my husband's, who had passed away. I kept them in a drawer next to my sink in my master bathroom for convenience since I wore them everyday. I take full responsibility for not securing them the day of the move. Somehow during all the chaos, I left them in the drawer. After the move I realized they were missing. I've waited this long to write a review, hoping I would recover the stolen items. Things were marked for "new home" and "storage unit" and my hope and prayer was that they somehow got moved into the storage unit. After going through every box in the unit, I realize the movers must have taken my jewelry. I had packed up all my other jewelry and put it in my car before the move, however, I wore my husbands wedding band (he passed away a couple years ago) and my wedding bands everyday. I failed to take them out of the drawer I kept them in for convenience instead of putting them in my safe with the rest of my jewelry. After moving into my new home, I realized what I had done. I searched through every box brought to my new home (much of my things went into storage) and could not find the rings, and also missing was a rather large jar of quarters I kept in my closet (there was close to $300 in that jar). I contacted the moving company but they were unresponsive to my concern, assuring me their people would not have stolen my things. I vowed to go through every box in my storage unit hoping they had inadvertently put them there instead of my home (which they had done a couple times already). After searching intensely, I am heartbroken to realize that my jewelry (and quarters, which I don't care about) had been stolen. I am sure they were in the drawer next to my sink because of the sentimental value I was extremely careful each night. I contacted the company again and they didn't even bother to answer. We have used White Glove's services in the past and they were very good. This time, the movers who came to our house were good but the quote was not. We were quoted the per-hour fee for 4 guys, which was fine. We were moving furniture within our house, so they did not need to drive anywhere except our house. Before the guys left, I asked them to document the time worked. They kept saying "the office will have it." It was a little suspicious, so I documented it and I have it on our cameras. When the bill arrived a few days later, they charged us $40.50 for fuel, which was not in the quote (just to drive to our house?) and they padded time on both the beginning and ending times, which added another $160. The quote had a per-hour fee plus time to/from the warehouse, but not the fuel and not inflated time during which they did not work. If I had known that, I would have asked them to leave 5-6 minutes earlier. By staying an extra 5-6 minutes when they were doing nothing but getting ready to leave, they charged us for 30 minutes, which at $320 an hour, adds up. Plus they did that on the front end of the move, also. Are they trained to make sure they stay in extra couple of minutes so White Glove can charge an additional 30 minutes that is not in the quote? Charge what you want but disclose it upfront. I think $760 for 4 guys for 90 minutes is excessive. They agreed to remove the fuel charge after a couple of rounds of emails showing them the actual quote but that was it. We'll go somewhere else next time. read more

I used WG to receive and store a bed, bedside table and a desk and then deliver and assemble the 3 items to my daughter's apartment. I gave a 2 month notice on when the items were to be delivered and I forwarded shipping notices indicating what day the 3 items would be received at WG. In advance I confirmed delivery information to be sure they received the items and move in date. When delivery day came WG said they had not received 2 of the 3 items. After giving them confirmation of receipt they said they did not have time to look for and deliver them. I flew in from another state specifically for the move-in and they still would not look for the furniture they misplaced. I will say that the actual guys who delivered and assembled were great. They searched and found all 3 items in five minutes (they get a 5-star review). Terrible experience from start to finish. read more

So I ordered a beautiful white suede chair from nest modern. They told me that white glove would be delivering it. I did kind of cringe because of my past with them however I thought I would give them a second chance. So on delivery day they bring the white chair in two young gentleman with no white gloves. There are black fingerprints all over my $7000 chair. I should've never allowed them to deliver it. In all fairness Nest Modern has been incredibly helpful. Just want to give a shout out to WG Storage and Delivery. The helped sort out some multiple shipments from vendors that went missing and help get the correct items delivered in time. Also, helped last minute to touch up some pieces that got scuffed during shipping. Their delivery team did a great job unloading and placing furniture pieces in the business and were willing to help fix some last minute items. All their staff are polite and helpful. The lack of answering my clients calls, not showing up on time, and now they are coming back to finish on day 3 when per the contract states she had to be out yesterday and house clean and ready for new owners??? Now my cleaning crew came yesterday and had to leave, just to return this morning at 6:30 a.m. and it's still impossible to clean. The guys are all on their phones in different rooms, and are not fully packing each room so that the cleaners could at least start SOMEWHERE??? Will cost her a $500 holdover, plus a hotel with 3 animals, and she is have to drive to Oklahoma tomorrow and rent a Uhaul in OK to come back and get the rest of her things as she is having to place them in the neighbors garage. Come on White Glove! We are all SO busy right now, but my other two cross country client moves were seamless. Make a rule that your guys cannot be on their phones when they are there to work, and to be on time. The client is their boss during the move. This is a costly embarrassment and I myself do not like being waken at 6:30 am on a Saturday to deal with the mess you've caused. read more

Nice guys, professional image. But of the six items I had moved, White Glove managed to damage two of them. When I pointed that out, the supervisor was adamant he did not cause the damage. I know my furniture well and I KNOW that they caused this damage. I paid a premium to use White Glove with the expectation they would take good care of my stuff. We used White Glove Storage & Delivery for a local move, whole house. Their pre move communications were excellent and the crew leader Justin notified us about 30 minutes out from the appointed time. This was a 2 truck two day move. They under estimated the job but, they put the crew back on the Job the following day. The final price was more than fair and understandable. I continue to use their services because of the care they used to move my household, to receive furniture at their warehouse, and to deliver furniture to my home. The movers at White Glove set them apart from other companies. A team of two movers worked each move or furniture delivery to my home. No matter who was assigned, the movers worked as a team to carefully pack, deliver, and assemble furniture. While expeditious, the movers took time before moving each piece to plan the move with thought and precision. As a result of the attention, the movers never damaged my home or any piece of furniture that they were moving. The movers were methodical and careful when assembling furniture in my home. The movers from White Glove were always extremely courteous and very professional. As yes, the movers do wear their white gloves when moving fragile pieces and upholstery. White Glove might cost more than other movers, but the service, care, and attention that they provide is worth the cost. read more

Took almost 6 months to settle with their insurance company & throughout the process of filing a claim, management was unapologetic & unavailable. Very frustrating!!! All I had was a sofa that needed to be delivered that I had purchased from LOFT Home. They said that White Glove was the company that they use to deliver their furniture, so I thought this would be no big deal, as this was a pretty standard sofa. I was very unimpressed. The man who was in charge was Patrick Maxwell. He bumped into and marked up my walls at least three times, and he kept having to put the sofa down to take breaks. They finally got the sofa where I wanted it, but the biggest problem was that the sofa smelled like cigarettes, like someone had been smoking right next to my very expensive sofa. High price. Low customer service. Charged $150 to deliver a buffet console 4 miles to my house. Said it took them 1 1/2 hours. Turns out they include the time it took them to go from their yard in north Austin to a south Austin store, a detail they left out when I tried to get a price quote the day before delivery. When I complained to their manager he said I got a great deal. Same attitude of denial that other reviewers point out. Stay away from this company unless you don't mind paying double. read more
