I'm writing this review to warn other customers - we used this company last July, their rate was reasonable - $120/hr and no fee for driving to our home. We were moving again and we reluctantly accepted a increased rate of $150/hr given that they'd dive a good job previously. The DID NOT warn us that they now charge the hourly rate to drive to your house. I've worked with other companies that charge for mileage but 1. Not warning us and 2. Charging the labor fee is both ridiculous and exorbitant. Wouldn't recommend purely based on their business practices. read more

We were put in a tough spot when our moving company backed out MID JOB. They literally unloaded the truck they had started to load and took off, leaving us stranded the day we were supposed to be out of our house. We called around and Limestone was able to send out a 4 person crew the next day. They finished packing and loading the truck. Not only did they come in clutch for us, but they were all very professional and handled our things with care. There have been lots of pivots during this move, and Limestone rolled with the punches the entire time. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I saw the great ratings for this company and that's what led me to booking their services for unloading a box truck in advance for my move. Initially communication with Katie was great, she double confirmed the date and time. She also confirmed my message when I knew I was running a behind schedule due to low tires on my box truck. Unfortunately after that, it was not excellent. Two hours prior to our scheduled time, I had Esteban showing up to my house and calling- I assume miscommunication to the movers on the original scheduled time. Once I arrived I was met by Esteban and another polite young man. Esteban having what seems to be a lot of experience, did not handle communication or my belongings and home without damage. Perhaps he was in a hurry, but after being asking politely to slow down and take his time with the other laborer almost tripping up the stairs on the other end of things and scraping the wall and tearing across the carpet, there was still rushing and a failure to protect the property. Furniture was slid across the box truck floor instead of lifted by the dolly when it was an option. This resulted also in lost feet to some furniture items. Door frames were scuffed, walls were scraped and scuffed requiring touch up. I'm lucky the carpet did not tear on the edges of the stairs where the person going backwards was bending his shoes across in order to not lose balance. I did ask them to stop before even getting to my expensive leather couch and washer/dryer to avoid any further stress of damages. I feel like interaction with a male homeowner would have resulted in more respect being shown to the property and some of the communication would have been taken into consideration when asked to slow down multiple times. If you use this company and have carpeted stairs, I'd highly recommend having plastic put down prior to the moving date as well. This isn't explained in the quote but in addition to the trip fee out to your residence, they also charge for the time it takes to drive/return back to the business location/house location, which they were kind enough to remove from the bill since it was not explained on the quote. read more

They were very friendly and went out of their way to carefully move my 4 bedroom 3 bath house across Texas. They are straight up with their reasonable prices and have no surprise fees. They had to drive my belongings for 4 hours and unpack them into PODs at the receiving location. There was no damage to any of my furniture, and they were able to arrange all my belongings into only two PODs! This was the most devastating move I ever had. I was being moved from one apartment to another. Just up stairs from the place I was living. I came home to the following in my new apartment. The Limestone crew was so helpful and accommodating during my move. My partner and I were moving out of a two bedroom into another two bedroom within the same building. I have moved several times and had varying experiences with movers so I usually move some items myself to ensure they will not be broken. I was not expecting the level of service that I received with Limestone Moving. Mark and Ben did an exceptional job. They paced themselves well and were very careful with every item they moved. The move was also across town and they arrived just minutes after I did at my new residence. This was by far my best moving experience and my only regret is that I did not have them move more items.
