Big sales happen on holidays, of course, so those are the best times to shop. Their regular sales aren't too shabby, either, though. Unfortunately after trying on again at home, I decided to return everything I purchased. I feel like I could have picked something better with some guidance from the sales staff. Customer service was sparse, but my interactions with the employees were pleasant overall. The women were kind when I checked out, and on my second visit, it was easy to return the items. My advice to Madewell is to focus more on customer service. If I originally had help picking out the right jeans for my body, I would have ended up keeping them and the company would have made $300 instead of $0.
