I'll start off by noting that the incessant sentiments - from both my friends and countless Yelpers here - of entering and exiting the venue via their extremely tight one-way-ish street leading to and out of the parking lot is out of anyone's control at this point. That being said, it's hard not to have it affect the average concertgoer's experience regardless, including those of my four friends and me. We came here to see Hilary Duff on her Lucky Me tour on 7/15/26 and heeded outside advice to go as early as we possibly could to beat traffic going into their parking lot. Staff were proactive in guiding me and all others in front of and behind into their parking spots on a huge field that definitely warrants near-perfect driving so you don't accidentally scratch the side of someone's car. That of course didn't matter when we all stayed till the end for Duff's best song ever and tested our patience to get out with our cars and sanity intact. It took me about an hour and a half to finally budge and get out onto Auburn Enumclaw Rd SE and take my friends and myself home. Maybe I'll get the premium parking privileges next time I go to another event here. I wanna look past all that now and focus on the other parts of the venue, though. In general, the area before the seating area is vast, with many vendors that you can check out on this place's website. Food here - like most major venues for concerts - are priced high, so just be warned if you do decide to eat here, which is recommended given horrible traffic to get here the later you come. Pretty ironic, huh? For my food: - I got a double cheeseburger and fries from Mosh Burger. These are already prepared ahead of time so my friends and I got these immediately. The patties are a little hard and dry but the melted cheese brought back some of the juiciness of the burger overall. Fries are standard but filled us up very quickly. - I shared some NOLA-style fries with my friends. This had a ton of meats and jalapeno, and the fries were huge. Very rich in flavor, and one of our favorites to eat. - From a place called Riffresher, I got a pineapple yuzu lemonade and my friends each got their passion guava tea. We agreed that my pineapple yuzu lemonade had better taste than the passion guava tea, though I'm not a fan of the aftertaste of Liquid Death, which they use on all their drinks. The seating for the venue consists of a ton of magenta seats leading to the stage, and a grassy lawn all the way in the back. The magenta seats are reserved, while lawn seating looks to be on a first-come, first-serve basis as people filled that area quickly. Seats were relatively clean, and there's enough elbow room for everyone to stand up, jump around for joy and just relax in general before and during the concert. The venue is roofed only for those who purchase seats, though that's weather-dependent since the whole venue is outdoors. Lawn seating of course is a whole different story regardless of weather... Despite the parking and driving nightmares that countless Yelpers and friends have warned me about and that I have come to experience myself, I I took it all in stride. Would I want to experience all that again? Definitely not, but I had a great experience seeing Hilary Duff here regardless. read more

There's a reason so many people are complaining about the parking - it's horrific ever.single.time. But - when your favorite bands are coming, and you want to see them, you're making a fully informed choice at this point. We came later than normal hoping to avoid the nightmare (we really just wanted to see Evanescence), but that did not help ease the nightmare of the parking situation. Yes - they have flaggers; it's not true they don't exist. I don't give them grief because they've been handed an impossible situation to navigate. But the whole place is run poorly and you will get severely gouged at EVERY vendor. Especially at any of the alcohol locations. Their 'craft beer' choice are laughable. We live in the PNW - we all know what craft beer tastes like - none of their offerings are it. You will pay MORE for one can of beer than you do at the stadiums ($21 +tax). And for a 'large' strawberry vodka lemonade you will pay $26 +tax). But do NOT expect any vodka in it. Oh - and we waited 1-1/2 hrs to even start moving out of the parking lot when the show was over. This place is something we're stuck with unfortunately. I pray somebody else opens up something similar in South King County. They couldn't possibly do worse than this place. read more

Took three hours just to get to the parking lot and late to miss the beginning part of the main performance. It's cool parking is included. But they blocked so many turns that is was impossible to know what streets were closed. Getting out same thing. After concert friend and I got two waters. Not knowing we couldn't exit with them opened. But for the employees to open them for us and to not let us know. Is a bit far fetch. Of course enjoyed the lights and performance of the main event. This is a predictable venue. I had an interesting experience on this visit as I bought a seat this time. Not a lawn ticket. The man next to me was super freaking grouchy. Plugging his ears. Smh. How dare I sing at a concert. So, after the first band, The Romantics, I went to the ticket tent to see about purchasing an upgraded ticket. I told the girl what was happening at my seat and she gave me another ticket free!! I moved and had an excellent time. No grouchy pants around! I sang. I danced. It was fantastic! The food is not that great though. I had tacos. They were cold. But oh well. The pear margarita was wine based and refreshing but I'm not really a fan. Whatever. When in Rome! Great venue but the parking situation here is an absolute nightmare. We saw Hilary duff and thank god we left with four songs left otherwise we would have been waiting for two hours just to get out of the lot itself. Staff was nice, venue was clean and lots of food and beverage options. But either you stay until the end and wait in hours of traffic or leave the venue early to get home at a decent hour. read more

We came to this amphitheater for the first time to see 311 and Dirty Heads. We had an excellent experience from beginning to end! For us, traffic was not difficult. We were coming from a local hotel. We arrived really early, and parked far outside of the Registered parking areas. We spotted locals! They were all nice and helped us out by sharing that we would likely get out easier after the show if we were willing to walk a bit. They were right! We got right out after the show. We hit our hotel room less than 25 minutes after leaving the show. As newbies to the venue, we had no idea where we were going for anything, but everyone was very nice and helpful. The sound system was great. Food and drinks were standard Live Nation fare, but who expects to get cheap food and drinks at a concert? Nothing stood out as too expensive to us. We did see many people packing snacks in clear 1 gallon bags to help avoid needing to buy food there. Due to an epic experience, we will be back! read more

We had the worst venue experience with White River Amphitheatre. As many have mentioned, getting in and out of an event is a nightmare. With just one entrance/exit into the parking lot, it's a complete fire hazard as there were no staff or guidance for cars leaving the lot. We finally managed to leave after two hours thanks to some selfless concert goers who ended up directing traffic themselves. read more

Worst parking logistics I have ever seen. Missed half the show! I attended the Doobie Brothers/Santana concert on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 and missed half of the performance solely because of an atrocious 2-hour wait just to get into the parking lot. The venue infrastructure was reasonable to allow such parking, however parking attendants were improperly trained & completely failed to handle the volume of traffic, leaving thousands of paying fans stranded at a standstill outside, parking one car at a time. Alaska's State Fair does a better job! It is unacceptable to charge high ticket prices only to lock fans out of the event due to poor traffic management. Avoid this venue unless you plan to arrive 4 hours early or just avoid all together! read more

This is by far the worst venue I have ever been to. It took over 2 hours to leave the parking lot!!! Random customers were directing traffic because there were no employees from the venue doing it. Terrible in and out avenue, nobody can move, even you get in car first then you still have to wait front rows, nightmare

Well let's start with the fact that the concert seating, view of stage and sound were good. Their seats are comfy and you have a decent view from most seats (maybe limited on the outside section and definitely lawn area). The food was inedible and super expensive, the chicken wrap was a toss out, that's how bad it was. The burger was horrible, best thing was the fries. Half the food options were closed too, which sucked, we were so looking forward to Kokos. Either it was in a closed of area (they didn't even open the second food area) or they no longer serve food here, but no one updated the website. I will never go there again without getting food before we arrive. Now, drinks are prohibitively expensive, you get better value at the Ms or Seahawks. $19 for a beer, $27 for a frozen drink... no thank you! On the positive note, they sell liquid death, which was surprising and really cool. Still expensive for non-alcoholic, but better than soda only. Getting there is a huge pain coming from Woodinville, it's far, it's a ton of traffic and where it's located, is literally in the middle of nowhere with little access options. Parking is free if you use the basic lot behind the venue, which we did. I don't see the value in parking for $40-50 to circumvent walking 5min. Getting out is another story, bring patience, it's pure chaos. I don't think I'll make effort in the future to go visit without improvement, but if a fantastic band is coming, I might do the painful everything again - just not for something middle of the road that I would probably see if access and price is good. read more

Based on the ridiculous nightmare of getting into and leaving this venue, I would not come back unless Prince or Christine McVie came back from the dead and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie NIcks made up and decided to start touring together. It took us over an hour to get from hwy 18 to the venue (should take 20 minutes) due to the horrendous traffic. It took us over an hour for our vehicle to even begin moving in the parking lot to leave. Absolutely ridiculous parking situation. I can't even imagine how terrible it must be for residents in the area who have to re-arrange their lives for events at this venue. We paid 53.00 for a can of beer and a 16 ounce drink. This is my first ever Yelp review. Been on the internet since before Yelp existed. Never felt need to leave negative comments about anything until last night. The experience was SO HORRIBLE that I had to leave a review. And I once stood in line at the Gorge in the sun in 100+ degree weather for 4 hours to see Bob, Willie and John. At least we were able to get the Gorge parking lot in a reasonable amount of time. Didn't leave bad review then but will now: It took over 3 hours to get from Auburn to the White River Amphitheatre. We started on 164th which is the road the venue is on and then we were directed through the countryside and thru a gauntlet of blocked roads and switchbacks at 3 miles per hour. 5 people in the car, so 3 backseat drivers and every "faster route" from google was blocked with a security guard and cones. Car was acting weird and shuttering, had to turn off A/C. We watch people pass us on the wrong side of the road and others who were allowed to go down roads we were not allowed on. It was a very unpleasant trip. We missed all of the Doobie Brothers and the first 10 to 15 minutes of Santana. It is obvious that this is deliberate to make people arrive hours early to force them to spend more money at the venue. They even suggest this on their website. "GATE TIMES Gates are usually 90 minutes before showtime, but check your specific event page or the info above for exact times. Get here earlier so you can enjoy your night and not be stuck in traffic." The traffic is wholly constructed by them to cause this trouble to make people arrive early and eat there instead of a restaurant of our own choice. As we did last night, we left the restaurant with an hour and a half to get to the venue, which according google was 33 minutes away. We will never go to White River Amphitheatre again, I know they don't give a crap and would never reach out or make any effort to make this right, but I got to warn you if you go here leave several hours early and bring food and water just for the trip to the venue. What we saw of the show was great, but White River Amphitheatre can take NO CREDIT for that. That was all Carlos Santana and the other talented Artists that joined him on stage. Just plan ahead, leave early and bring your own food and water. Screw White River Amphitheatre. They got our money and the at ALL they care about, Customer satisfaction is clearly not their concern or this would not happen (according to many many reviews) at a lot of their shows. I have really mixed feelings about White River. Pros: ample seating, in actual chairs, and plenty of room to come and go. View of the stage is good from just about anywhere. I can't comment on the lawn seating, which we had originally, since they bumped us to seats for our concert (more in that in a bit). Plenty of food and drink options. Cons: 1. Parking. The venue is pain in the butt to get to, especially if you're coming from Seattle. We bought Star Parking, for $40, thinking this would save us some hassle. It was confusing knowing where to go for this special parking since the signage was terrible. And when we went to leave, we were supposed to have rapid departure (which we paid for!), but didn't: many folks with general parking (who paid nothing) left ahead of us. Do yourself a favor: don't pay for parking at White River. It's not worth it. 2. Drinks. To sum it up: outrageously expensive! It cost us $90 for two margaritas (and tip). Granted we did get extra shots, still, it wasn't worth it. If you must drink, tailgate before the concert. 3. Seats. The seats we ended up with were great. However, initially they weren't. We arrived about 30 mins before start, and we were given seats that were not together (as in far apart). Fortunately, we had some friends who were able to get us seats together. Otherwise we would've been seriously hosed. I'm unlikely to go back since I feel the cons outweigh the pros with this venue. read more

I didn't even park here and Parking Was Horrible! Lol I got dropped off because I live down the street 3 miles. I asked the attendant if this was the main entrance when I got out of the car, he said he didn't know. Ok whatever Then took Uber home... because again I am 3 miles away. 4 stars for the venue 0 stars for the logistics (4+0)/2 = 2 stars The venue is great! They have some pretty decent beers on tap and some well-maintained bathrooms. We saw Ghost and were in the Pit area and it was tiny and everywhere in there had amazing views. You could feel the breath of the Cardinal. The parking though. Getting into the venue is a mess. If you stay for the encore (which you should, you paid all that money to see your favorite band and now you're gonna bail on them?), you may as well take a nap in your car. Expect it to take at least an hour to get out of here...it could easily take two. The other major logistical bummer: there are no hotels anywhere near close to the venue. That would be really nice as many people drink at concerts. read more

First visit to the White River Amphitheatre to see Metric, Noel Gallagher, and Garbage on Friday 6/2/23. If you follow the information provided by Ticketmaster, Livenation, and the posted signs at the venue, you should have no issues. Note: I would not pay $50 or $75 for premium parking. We showed up right as the gate opened for general parking and surprisingly well organized and *free*. Just no crazy tailgating with grills or rolling out the keg. Note: I would not pay the upcharge for premium entrance. Everyone still goes through the security points and then race off to concessions, restrooms, concert merch tent, or cocktail/beer garden. Save your money. Just pack your patience and it's totally chill. Gates open at least an hour before. Open air amphitheatre with overhead cover. Decent acoustics. Relaxed environment. Seats get a bit uncomfortable after a 4 hour concert, walk around or stand up between sets. Definitely bring sunglasses and dress in layers. Leaving the facility was orderly and getting out of the parking area was efficient. Driving down here with Friday traffic from Shoreline took 90 minutes. Would I come here again? Probably not, simply too hella south and east. Although make a day of it and visit Mt. Rainier National Park earlier? read more

The place is dated but it's an impressive complex with a village of shops and vendors before you even make it to the concert venue itself. The acoustics are impressive. I don't love the idea that you MUST rent *their* lawn chairs but I understand the reasoning. As anyone else will tell you the parking lot exit situation is abysmal. Not only will you be stuck in the parking lot for an hour post-concert, the police have closed off the numerous side roads so that everybody is funneled back to Seattle nearly in a single way, so don't make any plans for the next morning! read more

Deceptive and dishonest behavior from staff. I went to the Weird Al concert on August 15th. The woman at the West drinks stand in the grassy area sold me a a can of water for $10 from a beer case. I asked if there was anything they could do for me, as anyone would thinks chilled can in a beer fridge is a beer for sale, especially one named Liquid Death. Not only did they not help me make things right, they laughed, and acted like I was in the wrong to think I was ordering a beer for $10 from a beer fridge from a stand with a gigantic BEER sign on it. Decent venue but getting in/out is a nightmare. TRAFFIC: First of all, the traffic is HORRIBLE trying to get to this place!!!! A 40 minute trip took 2 1/2 hours!! This was getting there AND getting out. I knew that traffic would be an issue since the venue is kinda out in a rural area. I had no idea it would be that bad. We had upgrade VIP tickets that came with a bunch of swag. We totally missed getting it because of how late we arrive. Okay, I will take responsibility for that. We should have left earlier. For all those reading this.....PLAN TO GET THERE EARLY! The lady sitting next to me at the concert said she arrived at 4pm with no issue. PARKING: I read a ton of reviews that stated what a hassle it is to get out of this place after the concert is over. Well, they were right! I paid for the most expensive parking option "Reserved" which gave me an actual reserved parking spot in the very front lot. It was marketed as the quickest option to exit the venue after the event. What a joke! All the cars in this lot literally sat and waited. It was really clear that they were letting cars out of a different lot first (we could see this happening). Every so often, they would let about 10 cars out of our lot and then stop. FINALLY they opened up our exit and all of us were allowed to exit. This process took about 40 minutes from the time we got into our car. Ridiculous! I'm sure that the people in the non-upgraded parking had to wait a lot longer. That said, I paid $100 extra so that I wouldn't have to wait nearly an hour to get out. SEATING: It was my daughter's first concert so I paid for seats that came with Premium VIP "benefits." I purchased seats in the front row of the 102 section. These were GREAT seats with one exception. Directly in front of these seats is the "Accessible" seating section. There are folding chairs and blocked areas for those in wheelchairs. Wow, it's an AMAZING section for those that need to use an Accessible area at the venue. The not-so-great side effect is that people that paid for the "front row" of the 102 section (and other sections at that same level) don't really have "front row" because there are people literally in front of you. Let me give some clarity because it didn't actually effect our group. The people directly in front of us stayed seated the entire time. We had ZERO issues seeing the stage and again, the seats were amazing. They were way closer to the stage than I anticipated. Unfortunately, for the group right next to us, the people in the accessible area in front of them stood up the entire time and blocked their view significantly. There was a little girl that CLEARLY was a HUGE Halsey fan that seemed heartbroken that she really couldn't see. Everyone wants to have a good time at a concert. Everyone has a right to stand up and enjoy the concert that they paid a lot of money to attend. This is just a heads up that if you purchase tickets in this location, you may or may not get a great view. It's not guaranteed even though you paid for front row tickets in that section! read more

STAY AWAY!! I can't say this enough stay away. First if you're coming from the East side of the state find another way other then the Auburn turn off. This exit alone took over an hour. Then this place is just as bad. The parking and the way it's run is just horrible. It took us a whole hour to go 1 mile just to park. I will NEVEN be back to this place. The actual venue itself I enjoyed a lot for the concert tour featuring Filter, Ministry, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. I purchased a ticket with a seat and was a little bit concerned about the situation with rain but the roof covering the seated area was perfect and well protected in case such a thing occurred. Acoustics for the shows were good, no complaints there at all. But the reason why I give this venue such a low rating is similar to other low ratings for thus amphitheater and that is the logistics. One way in, one way out basically. While getting to the show there was more than enough traffic congestion, getting out was so much worse. I was stuck in gridlock just in the parking lot very close to an hour. Once that loosened up I chose to take an actual longer route to get home because I knew the Seattle bound traffic would be so much worse. So not only are concert nights late nights but yhe longer route proved to make it an extra late night. But should I have taken the Seattle bound road home I'm sure it would have been considerably later than the arrival time at home that I did get. Prices for like concert t shirts was just ridiculous! Maybe the prices were related to this particular tour but for one concert t shirt they were asking $50. You go down to the parking lot and someone is selling the same exact shirt for $20. Just ludicrous! But the high prices didn't stop there. Food wasn't too bad in price but what you got was still slightly overpriced. Getting a beer was outrageous! For one beer it was over $20! For some breweries you could get two or three beers for the same price so all that was unnecessary and as I already said, ridiculous! But the actual show I did like. People got obnoxious as the night wore on but that isn't new with concerts but since it was amphitheater there was so many more of them! I used to go to amphitheater shows all the time in the 90's and only went because I could narrow down my bucket list for bands I want to see but other than that I prefer smaller venues and theaters and the traffic situation only affirmed it more. I love going to concerts but since my bucket list is tiny now for bands I want to see the thought process of if I am willing to deal with stadium and amphitheater shows also dwindles as well which I am absolutely fine with especially after this particular experience! read more

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to change my once good review for this venue to a more accurate one that reflects the utter chaos & disorganization you will encounter when attending a show here. My previous decent experience must've been a freaking miracle. Traffic getting to and from the venue is HORRIBLE. Be sure to give your self at least 1.5 -2 hours because it's going to be bumper To bumper, oh and then leave early too because it we'll definitely be the same on the way out. Drinks are 20-30/ each. On the website it does not say anything about glowsticks or flow toys being prohibited items - but they are. The glow sticks I understand (because bad for the environment & those are cheap and easy to get rid of so no biggie.). However, they did not lot me enter with an LED flow toy and made me walk it back to the car- literally so dumb, and they should add ALL Prohibited items to their website. I def heard many others being turned away for stupid things as well. Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of places in this state for live music, and this venue is pretty & fun, but it lowkey sucks. This was my first time ever to this venue. I went to go see the Backstreet Boys. I was so looking forward to it. Without traffic, I live about 30 minutes from the venue. Because it was my first time there, I thought I would leave about 2 hours before the time listed on the ticket, which was 7:30pm (it said 7:30pm, but I figured the band would go on about 8:30pm). I should have left like 4-5 hours before! (i should have read other reviews first). Traffic was fine until I was about 2.5 miles from the venue. It was like insane gridlock. There is only about 2 roads that lead you to the venue. The way that I came was through some fields, so there were a few 4 way stops. I didn't get parked in general parking until a little before 9pm! I literally spent longer driving to the concert than the actual concert was. The only thing that made me feel better is that lots of other people were in the same boat as me. Tip: Pay for the special parking! The show was great - i was sad I didn't have time to get a drink or anything because the show had already started and I didn't want to miss more than I had already missed. I didn't really have a chance to explore the venue. Seems very large and they and a lot of food and alcohol stands. By the end of the night, the bathroom I went to was out of TP. I knew leaving the venue was going to be insane, so I took my time leaving the venue. I got to my car and waited about 30 minutes to let some traffic die down....I ended up waiting at least 90 minutes to leave. I swear for a good 45 minutes, I didn't see a single car that was in line to get out leave! The only saving grace was 2 good samaritans got out of their cars and started directing traffic. However leaving the venue, they were only letting you turn out one way. If they opened it up to both directions, it could have gone faster. Venue seriously needs to work on the process. read more

2.5/3 stars. The seat under the coverage of the roof of the amphitheater were amazing. We were in section 102 for Snoop Dogg and honestly it was a perfect view. I also loved that there are a ton of food cart and drink vendors in the venue itself so you can grab snacks and drinks during the shows. My only issue (but a huge one) is the parking situation. Parking and leaving concerts here is the literal definition of a nightmare. There was nobody directing traffic. We got there 2.5 hours early to get a better general parking spot but after the concert it didn't matter. We rushed out and every single lot was grid locked. It took over an hour to even get out of our spot and get moving. It took almost 2 hours to leave the venue. There needs to be some logistical change to the parking here. I loved the vibe and the concert area itself but I would not come back due to that. I've never had such bad parking at any concert venue. read more

Commute and parking is nightmare. During road construction on the south of the Amphitheatre, there is only ONE line to the venue and back. Yes, just one. They will help you to park before the show. But you are on your own after the show. They do not organize the lines. Today we've spent more than 1 HOUR to driving from parking to the road. Just leaving the parking. Last time we've been here 2 years ago. Hope I won't have to come here again ever. Prices are through the roof (and there is no roof on the lawn). Beer 15-17$ Boba drinks 12$ Pita burrito 15$ By the way, they denied to use lawn chairs from home. Because "it is not safe". But we can pay and rent THEIR chairs. Just 10$ per chair. Nah, blanket works perfectly well. read more
