Well let's start with the fact that the concert seating, view of stage and sound were good. Their seats are comfy and you have a decent view from most seats (maybe limited on the outside section and definitely lawn area). The food was inedible and super expensive, the chicken wrap was a toss out, that's how bad it was. The burger was horrible, best thing was the fries. Half the food options were closed too, which sucked, we were so looking forward to Kokos. Either it was in a closed of area (they didn't even open the second food area) or they no longer serve food here, but no one updated the website. I will never go there again without getting food before we arrive. Now, drinks are prohibitively expensive, you get better value at the Ms or Seahawks. $19 for a beer, $27 for a frozen drink... no thank you! On the positive note, they sell liquid death, which was surprising and really cool. Still expensive for non-alcoholic, but better than soda only. Getting there is a huge pain coming from Woodinville, it's far, it's a ton of traffic and where it's located, is literally in the middle of nowhere with little access options. Parking is free if you use the basic lot behind the venue, which we did. I don't see the value in parking for $40-50 to circumvent walking 5min. Getting out is another story, bring patience, it's pure chaos. I don't think I'll make effort in the future to go visit without improvement, but if a fantastic band is coming, I might do the painful everything again - just not for something middle of the road that I would probably see if access and price is good. read more

Based on the ridiculous nightmare of getting into and leaving this venue, I would not come back unless Prince or Christine McVie came back from the dead and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie NIcks made up and decided to start touring together. It took us over an hour to get from hwy 18 to the venue (should take 20 minutes) due to the horrendous traffic. It took us over an hour for our vehicle to even begin moving in the parking lot to leave. Absolutely ridiculous parking situation. I can't even imagine how terrible it must be for residents in the area who have to re-arrange their lives for events at this venue. We paid 53.00 for a can of beer and a 16 ounce drink. The sound was great and all seats had a great view. BUT, you can bet your sweet *ss we will not ever go back here. read more

I have really mixed feelings about White River. Pros: ample seating, in actual chairs, and plenty of room to come and go. View of the stage is good from just about anywhere. I can't comment on the lawn seating, which we had originally, since they bumped us to seats for our concert (more in that in a bit). Plenty of food and drink options. Cons: 1. Parking. The venue is pain in the butt to get to, especially if you're coming from Seattle. We bought Star Parking, for $40, thinking this would save us some hassle. It was confusing knowing where to go for this special parking since the signage was terrible. And when we went to leave, we were supposed to have rapid departure (which we paid for!), but didn't: many folks with general parking (who paid nothing) left ahead of us. Do yourself a favor: don't pay for parking at White River. It's not worth it. 2. Drinks. To sum it up: outrageously expensive! It cost us $90 for two margaritas (and tip). Granted we did get extra shots, still, it wasn't worth it. If you must drink, tailgate before the concert. 3. Seats. The seats we ended up with were great. However, initially they weren't. We arrived about 30 mins before start, and we were given seats that were not together (as in far apart). Fortunately, we had some friends who were able to get us seats together. I didn't even park here and Parking Was Horrible! Lol I got dropped off because I live down the street 3 miles. I asked the attendant if this was the main entrance when I got out of the car, he said he didn't know. Ok whatever Then took Uber home... because again I am 3 miles away. They didn't let uber take a left so we ended up going towards Enumclaw and wandered around every back road saw so many road closures. 4 stars for the venue 0 stars for the logistics (4+0)/2 = 2 stars The venue is great! They have some pretty decent beers on tap and some well-maintained bathrooms. We saw Ghost and were in the Pit area and it was tiny and everywhere in there had amazing views. You could feel the breath of the Cardinal. The parking though. Getting into the venue is a mess. If you stay for the encore (which you should, you paid all that money to see your favorite band and now you're gonna bail on them?), you may as well take a nap in your car. Expect it to take at least an hour to get out of here...it could easily take two. The other major logistical bummer: there are no hotels anywhere near close to the venue. That would be really nice as many people drink at concerts. read more

First visit to the White River Amphitheatre to see Metric, Noel Gallagher, and Garbage on Friday 6/2/23. If you follow the information provided by Ticketmaster, Livenation, and the posted signs at the venue, you should have no issues. Note: I would not pay $50 or $75 for premium parking. We showed up right as the gate opened for general parking and surprisingly well organized and *free*. Just no crazy tailgating with grills or rolling out the keg. Note: I would not pay the upcharge for premium entrance. Everyone still goes through the security points and then race off to concessions, restrooms, concert merch tent, or cocktail/beer garden. Save your money. Just pack your patience and it's totally chill. Gates open at least an hour before. Open air amphitheatre with overhead cover. Decent acoustics. Relaxed environment. Seats get a bit uncomfortable after a 4 hour concert, walk around or stand up between sets. Definitely bring sunglasses and dress in layers. Leaving the facility was orderly and getting out of the parking area was efficient. Driving down here with Friday traffic from Shoreline took 90 minutes. Would I come here again? Probably not, simply too hella south and east. Although make a day of it and visit Mt. Rainier National Park earlier? read more

The place is dated but it's an impressive complex with a village of shops and vendors before you even make it to the concert venue itself. The acoustics are impressive. I don't love the idea that you MUST rent *their* lawn chairs but I understand the reasoning. As anyone else will tell you the parking lot exit situation is abysmal. Not only will you be stuck in the parking lot for an hour post-concert, the police have closed off the numerous side roads so that everybody is funneled back to Seattle nearly in a single way, so don't make any plans for the next morning! read more

Deceptive and dishonest behavior from staff. I went to the Weird Al concert on August 15th. The woman at the West drinks stand in the grassy area sold me a a can of water for $10 from a beer case. I asked if there was anything they could do for me, as anyone would thinks chilled can in a beer fridge is a beer for sale, especially one named Liquid Death. Not only did they not help me make things right, they laughed, and acted like I was in the wrong to think I was ordering a beer for $10 from a beer fridge from a stand with a gigantic BEER sign on it. Decent venue but getting in/out is a nightmare. TRAFFIC: First of all, the traffic is HORRIBLE trying to get to this place!!!! A 40 minute trip took 2 1/2 hours!! This was getting there AND getting out. I knew that traffic would be an issue since the venue is kinda out in a rural area. I had no idea it would be that bad. We had upgrade VIP tickets that came with a bunch of swag. We totally missed getting it because of how late we arrive. Okay, I will take responsibility for that. We should have left earlier. For all those reading this.....PLAN TO GET THERE EARLY! The lady sitting next to me at the concert said she arrived at 4pm with no issue. PARKING: I read a ton of reviews that stated what a hassle it is to get out of this place after the concert is over. Well, they were right! I paid for the most expensive parking option "Reserved" which gave me an actual reserved parking spot in the very front lot. It was marketed as the quickest option to exit the venue after the event. What a joke! All the cars in this lot literally sat and waited. It was really clear that they were letting cars out of a different lot first (we could see this happening). Every so often, they would let about 10 cars out of our lot and then stop. FINALLY they opened up our exit and all of us were allowed to exit. This process took about 40 minutes from the time we got into our car. Ridiculous! I'm sure that the people in the non-upgraded parking had to wait a lot longer. That said, I paid $100 extra so that I wouldn't have to wait nearly an hour to get out. SEATING: It was my daughter's first concert so I paid for seats that came with Premium VIP "benefits." I purchased seats in the front row of the 102 section. These were GREAT seats with one exception. Directly in front of these seats is the "Accessible" seating section. There are folding chairs and blocked areas for those in wheelchairs. Wow, it's an AMAZING section for those that need to use an Accessible area at the venue. The not-so-great side effect is that people that paid for the "front row" of the 102 section (and other sections at that same level) don't really have "front row" because there are people literally in front of you. Let me give some clarity because it didn't actually effect our group. The people directly in front of us stayed seated the entire time. We had ZERO issues seeing the stage and again, the seats were amazing. They were way closer to the stage than I anticipated. Unfortunately, for the group right next to us, the people in the accessible area in front of them stood up the entire time and blocked their view significantly. There was a little girl that CLEARLY was a HUGE Halsey fan that seemed heartbroken that she really couldn't see. Everyone wants to have a good time at a concert. Everyone has a right to stand up and enjoy the concert that they paid a lot of money to attend. This is just a heads up that if you purchase tickets in this location, you may or may not get a great view. It's not guaranteed even though you paid for front row tickets in that section! read more

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to change my once good review for this venue to a more accurate one that reflects the utter chaos & disorganization you will encounter when attending a show here. My previous decent experience must've been a freaking miracle. Traffic getting to and from the venue is HORRIBLE. Be sure to give your self at least 1.5 -2 hours because it's going to be bumper To bumper, oh and then leave early too because it we'll definitely be the same on the way out. Drinks are 20-30/ each. On the website it does not say anything about glowsticks or flow toys being prohibited items - but they are. The glow sticks I understand (because bad for the environment & those are cheap and easy to get rid of so no biggie.). However, they did not lot me enter with an LED flow toy and made me walk it back to the car- literally so dumb, and they should add ALL Prohibited items to their website. I def heard many others being turned away for stupid things as well. Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of places in this state for live music, and this venue is pretty & fun, but it lowkey sucks. It's a concert venue. With loads of people. Super packed! Poor parking lots that require you to either, pay extra for the star parking, premium parking (you get it!), or arrive Uber early and park by the entrance/exit as you enter the general parking area. Or, stay at the local casino / hotel and take a Lyft/ Uber to the event. I'd imagine the poor reviews are associated with the parking issues at this venue. The overall vibe probably depends on the artist too and the crowd of people who attend. The food is of course super expensive as it is a concert. You are allowed to bring in a gallon ziplock bag full of food! Which is exactly what I did, thus not spending money on the expensive stuff. Empty water bottles are allowed and water filling stations for refill. The sound here is outstanding and loud! With screens to watch the main performance. The actual venue itself I enjoyed a lot for the concert tour featuring Filter, Ministry, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. I purchased a ticket with a seat and was a little bit concerned about the situation with rain but the roof covering the seated area was perfect and well protected in case such a thing occurred. Acoustics for the shows were good, no complaints there at all. But the reason why I give this venue such a low rating is similar to other low ratings for thus amphitheater and that is the logistics. One way in, one way out basically. While getting to the show there was more than enough traffic congestion, getting out was so much worse. I was stuck in gridlock just in the parking lot very close to an hour. Once that loosened up I chose to take an actual longer route to get home because I knew the Seattle bound traffic would be so much worse. So not only are concert nights late nights but yhe longer route proved to make it an extra late night. But should I have taken the Seattle bound road home I'm sure it would have been considerably later than the arrival time at home that I did get. Prices for like concert t shirts was just ridiculous! Maybe the prices were related to this particular tour but for one concert t shirt they were asking $50. You go down to the parking lot and someone is selling the same exact shirt for $20. Just ludicrous! But the high prices didn't stop there. Food wasn't too bad in price but what you got was still slightly overpriced. Getting a beer was outrageous! For one beer it was over $20! For some breweries you could get two or three beers for the same price so all that was unnecessary and as I already said, ridiculous! But the actual show I did like. People got obnoxious as the night wore on but that isn't new with concerts but since it was amphitheater there was so many more of them! I used to go to amphitheater shows all the time in the 90's and only went because I could narrow down my bucket list for bands I want to see but other than that I prefer smaller venues and theaters and the traffic situation only affirmed it more. I love going to concerts but since my bucket list is tiny now for bands I want to see the thought process of if I am willing to deal with stadium and amphitheater shows also dwindles as well which I am absolutely fine with especially after this particular experience! read more

This was my first time ever to this venue. I went to go see the Backstreet Boys. I was so looking forward to it. Without traffic, I live about 30 minutes from the venue. Because it was my first time there, I thought I would leave about 2 hours before the time listed on the ticket, which was 7:30pm (it said 7:30pm, but I figured the band would go on about 8:30pm). I should have left like 4-5 hours before! (i should have read other reviews first). Traffic was fine until I was about 2.5 miles from the venue. It was like insane gridlock. There is only about 2 roads that lead you to the venue. The way that I came was through some fields, so there were a few 4 way stops. I didn't get parked in general parking until a little before 9pm! I literally spent longer driving to the concert than the actual concert was. The only thing that made me feel better is that lots of other people were in the same boat as me. Tip: Pay for the special parking! The show was great - i was sad I didn't have time to get a drink or anything because the show had already started and I didn't want to miss more than I had already missed. I didn't really have a chance to explore the venue. Seems very large and they and a lot of food and alcohol stands. By the end of the night, the bathroom I went to was out of TP. I knew leaving the venue was going to be insane, so I took my time leaving the venue. I got to my car and waited about 30 minutes to let some traffic die down....I ended up waiting at least 90 minutes to leave. I swear for a good 45 minutes, I didn't see a single car that was in line to get out leave! The only saving grace was 2 good samaritans got out of their cars and started directing traffic. However leaving the venue, they were only letting you turn out one way. If they opened it up to both directions, it could have gone faster. Venue seriously needs to work on the process. read more

The location makes for an amazing view of Mt Rainier though which was a nice photo opportunity. The venue has some good things but where it fails, it fails miserably. Sat in lawn lat night. Rented chairs which was a plus both in price and comfort. Massive fail is the wall way and wire "fencing" not being monitored at all. Kids playing and jumping in fence, people recording the entire show on their phones, people standing there blocking everyone else. It states clearly you are not to stand in that area. No staff or security to manage had to go get staff twice. Horrible management and experience for paying customers. We parked in accessible parking and it was easy getting out(we did leave about 15 early). It was the traffic management once out of the parking lot. Omg I have never in my life see such a mess. They make you leave going the wrong way then "detour" you onto country roads with NO DIRECTIONAL signage!!! Followed our Google maps and when coming close to connecting back to the main highway oh there are the cops with road closed signs. Not kidding we drove over 45 mins on the detours to get back to the main road home. This is only our second concert and no more we will go to Ridgefield if needed. Don't waste your time or money here. It's hard because in Utah we saw many shows at the usana amphitheater and it was well managed, secured, and getting in and out was so smooth and that venue is easily twice the size of white river. 2008. Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick. Free parking at the SuperMall. A whole fleet of yellow school buses were loading people up and transporting us to the venue. Rock n' Roll, ready to go. The bus driver was excited for us and got us there safely. Organized and well staffed event. After the show: Same fleet of buses were ready and waiting to transport us back to SuperMall parking lot. Fantastic experience. 2024. Disorganized Sh--show. No yellow bus transportation option. Miles of traffic congestion. Gas wasted. Poor venue signage. Short staffed. After the show: People standing around in the parking lot with no regard for vehicles leaving. Vehicles cutting other cars off. A free for all hot mess. Forced detour in the opposite direction of our destination. Joan Jett and Alanis Morissette were amazing. Unfortunately, there was inebriated trash in our section. I will spare you the details, but overall it really sucks when all of us spent money on our tickets and made the trip out to the farmland, while our section had to bear the brunt of some B's unsavory comments and entitled drunk behavior. Then after the concert ended there was vomit splattered around the amphitheater grounds. The artists were fantastic but I don't want to return to this venue again until I know event management has improved. read more

WARNING: THERE IS ONLY ONE EXIT/ENTRANCE. Like LITERALLY ONLY ONE way to get in/out from. Parking is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS a hellish nightmare, no matter how early or late you leave the concert, you will be stuck leaving the parking lot for over an hour, and then you run into more traffic by the cities obstructing the roads and redirecting traffic. It's so ridiculous that I don't even want to go to the concerts here anymore. Like I absolutely want to boycott this place until the parking is solved at LEAST. Also fat smelly and annoying attention seeking people always standing in front of you no matter what seats you pay for to see the concert, you won't be able to because people LOVE to stand up during for some reason. Security does NOT do a good job at keeping people out of the walk ways to prevent people from standing in the way of the screens. If you have people standing in front of you and people standing on the sides blocking even the screens, there is zero point in getting tickets to see bands live. Have hesitated buying concert tickets at this venue EVERY TIME I regret going because of the traffic leaving the parking lot after the concert. Cars are a free for all leaving the parking lot causing a dangerous setting, if a ambulance is needed the person would probably die before they'll be able to get into that parking lot while the cars are trying to leave. Worst experience ever. I am handicapped and the white river has changed their policies to use the main gate parking in front to make an extra money. Handicapped parking which is a regular parking lot no room to get in and out of a vehicle to park. Handicapped is in the back parking lot a long walk away from the main entrance. We were forced to move 3 times because I need room to get out of the door of my car into a wheelchair. Parking attendants don't seem to know what's going on and how to help someone who is handicapped needing accessibility parking. Update: beyond the Parking the handicapped had its own entrance but it's in the opposite side of the entrance to go to the handicapped seating. If I didn't have someone to push me in a wheelchair walking this venue with my cane would have been impossible. PARKING sucks, came out to where the parking attendant moved us to and someone was parked so close no idea how they could have even got out of their car ( they crammed their car into our stall ). The parking attendant took a picture and said oh ok I will report to my manager just move your car, no sympathy at all. read more

I think it is a shame that greed is in full strength here! A bottled water $9 That's just crazy! There is a good amount of free parking. It gets really busy, lots of traffic. Best advice is to definitely eat and have drinks before arrival, or get there early and have a little tailgate party! You can bring sealed water into the venue! If bringing a reusable waterbottle, they will have you dump the water but not the ice cubes ...hint, hint It is not a place I would want my teenagers to be without a parent, but that's me! The Tim Love Bad Ass Nachos were delicious and the Prickly Pear Margaritas were just right, although $30 each for the large ones which is a bit steep but not uncommon for a concert. My only complaint is the chairs in the venue don't have drink holders, which meant sometimes setting our drinks on the floor which made me nervous. The parking is free which is a huge bonus. It did take some time to get in and out of the venue due to traffic but I expect that any time I go to an event. read more

2.5/3 stars. The seat under the coverage of the roof of the amphitheater were amazing. We were in section 102 for Snoop Dogg and honestly it was a perfect view. I also loved that there are a ton of food cart and drink vendors in the venue itself so you can grab snacks and drinks during the shows. My only issue (but a huge one) is the parking situation. Parking and leaving concerts here is the literal definition of a nightmare. There was nobody directing traffic. We got there 2.5 hours early to get a better general parking spot but after the concert it didn't matter. We rushed out and every single lot was grid locked. It took over an hour to even get out of our spot and get moving. It took almost 2 hours to leave the venue. There needs to be some logistical change to the parking here. I loved the vibe and the concert area itself but I would not come back due to that. I've never had such bad parking at any concert venue. read more

The concert I saw itself was great, SuicideBoys put on an awesome show. But the security was extremely low, on the way in security essentially didnt check me at all but made my girlfriend take off her necklace and leave it behind? Also while entering the venue they guide the parking situation but leave you on your own when you leave. Its one massive parking lot with one way in and out. So people are driving all over the place growing impatient, drunk people hanging out, and people fighting. Matter of fact a young man lost his life in a fight in the parking lot. If the venue actually managed the parking lot after the show this could have been avoided, this is seriously sad. It took me 2 hours to get out of the parking lot. I am giving 3 stars mainly because exiting the venue is always such a long and tiring ordeal. Also, I got funneled into Enumclaw directions, with 1 directional sign. After the turn, there were no more directions for the detour. I did bring my own chicken salad sandwich from QFC and a bottle of water. I figured that the sandwich was a much better deal than the venue food (burger was $15, I think vs my $6 sandwich). Fair scone was $5. I do not drink alcohol, so I have no idea what that cost. Judging by the way people were drinking around me, it must cost less than a pop. LOL! The older couple in front of me were enjoying themselves during the opening act with their drinks. The wife did not last much into the 2nd band, before bending over to make room for more beer. LOL! My seat was in section 4 row row 12 in the middle. I counted 12 rows of seat ahead of me. This is a great section to sit in. Section 1 & 2 are up front and much more expensive. Picture is from my seat. I did buy the Fast lane. This is to get into the venue faster. I showed up at 5:30 pm, for a 7 pm show. I did not need to waste my money. It would have taken me about 10 -15 mins more to get in without the Fast lane ticket. If you show up 30 mins before the show starts and the line is really long for general admission, then it is worth the $14. read more

Commute and parking is nightmare. During road construction on the south of the Amphitheatre, there is only ONE line to the venue and back. Yes, just one. They will help you to park before the show. But you are on your own after the show. They do not organize the lines. Today we've spent more than 1 HOUR to driving from parking to the road. Just leaving the parking. Last time we've been here 2 years ago. Hope I won't have to come here again ever. Prices are through the roof (and there is no roof on the lawn). Beer 15-17$ Boba drinks 12$ Pita burrito 15$ By the way, they denied to use lawn chairs from home. Because "it is not safe". But we can pay and rent THEIR chairs. Just 10$ per chair. They charge $75 a ticket for "vip- eagle club" which allows you your own bar with ticket purchase, but that bar is supposed to have a viewing area to the stage. Instead, there's no TV's, no stage view, and they play their own music so you can't even see or hear the stage. What really tops it off though is you can't take your drinks out of that area, if you want a drink that you can actually take to your seat, you just gotta go stand in line with everyone else. I usually love it here. I have been a few times. First off, the food vendors were lacking, and we paid $7 for a can of lukewarm water. We had planned to be on the lawn in chairs with blankets, but when we arrived they said the lawn was closed?? There wasn't a ton of people. Originally we sat where they said buy it was crowded and loud, so we moved seats. So yeah, not the experience we paid for. Although the concert started at 6, the main band (Live) did not come out until almost 10pm. By then my family was so over it, we stayed for 3 songs. We went to leave early and they had a kid directing traffic who directed us to exit the venue left which made it so we had to drive in a giant circle just to get re routes back in the right direction. Horrible. Upgraded through Ticketmaster but venue would not honor my purchase. Said their scanners were not working right and they had given up and were turning people away who had upgraded. They did not care that people had paid extra to enter early into the lounge The staff were a bunch of wankers. read more

If you're reading this and it's BEFORE the concert, do the following: -Plan to go very early (you'll see why below) -For the love of God, TAKE. THE. SHUTTLE. -Enjoy the gorgeous sky and breathtaking views as your ears feast on your artist with impeccable acoustics -For the love of God, GO TO THE SHUTTLE EARLY before the show is over. If you do these things, you will have a good time. Now for the rest: *The shuttle meets at the Auburn Supermall. Super easy to find, can't miss it by driving around the parking lots. You'll see big busses. We got on a later shuttle (I think 5:30 for a 7:00 show) and it still took us over an hour to get to the amphitheater. We got very antsy, but I can't imagine being one of those cars and then trying to find parking!! ONE WAY IN, ONE WAY OUT PEOPLE. *Therefore: I recommend getting on a shuttle 2-3 hours before ticket time. Plus, it drops you right off at the front. Whoo! *FOOD/DRINK - right there, spread out kind of like the WA State Fair. Good selections, but MAN ARE THE LINES STANDSTILL SLOW AND THE WORKERS ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. I mean.. completely. Our guy was frying one taco at a time. One. Taco. At. A. Time. I rolled my eyes so hard and so often my husband thought we were in a fight. No, I don't care that you popped an edible to get through this. In fact, I'm jealous. *So, the -1 star is for the lines and the workers who have 0 idea what they're doing. *VENUE: This is why people come here. Seriously, it's so gorgeous. We saw Maroon 5, and they looked and sounded A+. The entire back of the stage is a screen, but you can see above and all around and behind you with hills, hazy clouds, and pastel sky. Seating was easy to find and comfortable. *Again... it's a must: Leave for your shuttle before the end of the show. We got on the first shuttle out, and as soon as we were full, off we went! Past all the cars trying to crawl their way out of 68 little turns. We really enjoyed this, we just would have: 1 - eaten first, so we could just focus on drinking, and 2 - Left earlier and taken a 4 or 4:30 shuttle for a 7:00 show. If White River can somehow construct a new road out of here, or do something about the exit/entry, it will be the #1 spot to see shows in WA. read more

This review would be so much higher but when you get in drinks are way over priced and that isn't even the bad thing normally you can buy premium parking for any show you go to which we were able to fot Anderson Paak at $50 but not even a week And a half later it was $170 and not available thru white river so they are selling parking to people without seats and they're scalping the seating you should have to have seats to buy the parking it took us an hour and a half to get out of the lot read more
