Loved this place! My wedding is in July 2015 and I went dress shopping the last week of January 2015, knowing that my selection would be limited with my short time frame and strict $1,000 budget. I went to White Satin to get an idea of what I would like- never thinking that I would purchase my dress there. I figured it would be out of my price range after researching the designers they carry online. (Mori Lee, Casablanca, Essence of Austalia, etc.) My consultant was Dawn, and she was very friendly and attentive. Before even going back to the changing room she stood in the salon area with my family and asked me questions like budget, style, location, date, etc. She understood that I couldn't spend more than $1,000, and that we had a limited time frame. She pulled beautiful dresses for me and when she absolutely HAD to pull over-budget, she assured me she'd give me 10% off if it turned out to be THE dress. I wasn't offended because I knew I'd have limited selection. I tried on maybe 7 dresses before kind of hitting a wall, where I showed Dawn a picture of a Mori Lee dress I loved, asking if they carried it. She told me they didn't but pulled a similar dress just to see what it would look like, effectively getting that certain dress out of my head. She then suggested that we go back out into the salon and pick out some more dresses, and even suggested a mother-of-the-bride dress that I might like, and would be much cheaper than a traditional wedding dress. With the second round of dresses, I found two I was stuck between. One was a huge ballgown priced at $699, and the other was a body-hugging high-neck trumpet at $899. She let me try both on multiple times after I'd narrowed it down to the two, and when she found I was leaner more towards the tighter one, she gave me jewelry, a veil, and a headpiece to tie it all together. It turned out to be my dress! When we were all sure it was 'the one', she asked me if I was going to buy that day or come back. I told her I'd come back, and she didn't even flinch. There was absolutely no pressure. She and another consultant only joked that I'd have to be back soon because my wedding date was so close. I ordered my dress on January 31st and it arrived on February 23rd, to which I was very surprised, after they told me my dress wouldn't be in until the end of May. They said sometimes this happens, depending on if the designer has it ready at their warehouse. I ordered 132 buttons to go down the back as well, which just came to the store the other day. (May 19th). Dawn was also very attentive when it came to my family. My mother is in a wheelchair, and Dawn made sure she was able to see everything, offered her water, etc. She conversed with my family and was all-around very very friendly :) It's also worth mentioning that they have a wide selection of shoes to try on with your dress, as well as bras and girdles. They also give you coupons for 15% off MOB and bridesmaids dresses when you purchase your dress. There's also a discount on men's tuxes. Very happy with my experience! I went to White Satin for my wedding dress and loved my experience. I had Kristen who helped me choose my dress and she really listened to what I told her I liked and disliked about dresses and pulled beautiful ones for me to try on. I ended up going with the second dress I tried on. I think we all knew I would but I wanted to be thorough and continued trying on dresses. She didn't get irritated, or annoyed that I kept going. She wanted to make sure I really loved my dress. Even after I told her I wanted to put it back on, I saw two more dresses I wanted to try on first and she didn't hesitate to grab them for me. When it was time to put the second dress back on she really wanted me to feel like a bride, she grabbed a veil and a bracelet for me to try on with the dress and I knew it was the one. I did from the beginning, but at this point I had the full on tears! She did such a great job and I have absolutely no complaints what so ever from my experience. She even joked with my mom and sister and made everyone feel comfortable! Even when my sister had opinions about the "skittles" going down the back of a dress I tried on or the "snake skin" sparkles lol! Overall could not have asked for a better experience. The champagne toast and coupons downtown plus the added discount for my bridal party were an added bonus PLUS receiving a thank you with a Starbucks gift card in the mail!! I had been on the hunt for a Mother of the Bride dress. This was my first daughter to get married, so I didn't know what direction to go in.( Seeing as I didn't want to look like a grandma, nor did I want to look like I was trying to be 18 again.) After shopping with my sister in department stores and different malls, it just seemed that everything out there was a "Run of the Mill." I wanted to have something different, but did not know what style looked right on me. That's when my dear friend introduced me to White Satin Bridal. They were so helpful! My sister and I had a private appointment, and then Robyn (one of the owners) began giving us dresses to try on that she thought were not only appropriate but knew we could wear them well.. Dresses that we never imagined we would ever wear and look good in. She gave us her honest opinoin. She helped us just not with the style, but also the color that would be perfect to go along with the color theme of the Bridesmaids. My sister also picked her dress from there, and felt the same way. She tried a dress that we both say is "Out of the Box" for both of us. We love our dresses and are so happy we had an open mind and let Robyn do the work! Not only did they help with the dress, but they also took time to help us out with accessories and what would look best. I loved my experience from the moment I walked into White Satin Bridal. I was so nervous wedding dress shopping (and so was my Mom), and the staff made us feel SO comfortable and special. I couldn't find the dress I had always envisioned wearing at any other shop, and I decided to try White Satin Bridal. They listened and went above and beyond to design it for me! I was so impressed with their flexibility, how they listened to all my concerns, and how genuine and sweet everyone was in the shop. I'm so thankful I decided to stop by White Satin. Every other shop just made me feel like they just wanted to find me a dress right in the store to buy, and didn't listen to what I really wanted. I got my wedding dress from here and was very pleased with this store. would recommend to anyone that wants a variety of styles for a variety of price points. you can get something to fit your budget. I had shopped at probably 8 stores prior to this one with no luck (i guess I'm pickier than i thought), and went to this store and found 3 dresses that i loved! i went with a beaded strapless gown and i was in love with it! could not have been more perfect on my wedding day. one of the owners was my consultant and she said that she was one of the ones that selects the dresses for the store and she does a great job. everyone was very pleasant to work with every time that i came in and also the seamstress that they recommended did a great job. i hope all of my friends shop here for their dresses! read more

All I can say is WOW!!! From the time we walked in the door until we left it was nothing but spectacular. The greeting at the door was worth a million dollars!! Brittany introduced herself and helped us throughout the evening. She was by far one of the best salespeople I have ever come across!!! Very knowledgeable, kind, honest in her suggestions. This was our 3rd salon we visited and was leaps and bounds better than the rest!! We visited a bridal shop in Lemont and had a horrible experience...they couldn't even get the bride's name correct!! I absolutely loved this store. I thought the staff was fantastic and very helpful. I did not feel pressured by the staff at all, which is a huge relief after going to many other bridal stores that try to pressure brides into buying a dress. They were very patient with me...I think I came in about 4 times (at least) before buying my dress to try it on again! They took the time each time to assist me. They were incredibly helpful and nice. They also have a nice selection of wedding dresses. I highly recommend this store to anybody who is looking for wedding dresses. I purchased a dress fall of 2014 for my September 2015 wedding, and I could not have been happier! White Satin Bridal was my first and only place I went to try on wedding dresses. It is a smaller, intimate boutique- perfect for trying on wedding dresses. The entire staff was extremely friendly- especially Heidi who helped me try on numerous dresses. I had no idea what I wanted, so she helped me try on one of just about every single style of dress until I found the one I loved! My sister is going back for her wedding next year! Great experience! I went to White Satin Bridal not knowing what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Their selection of bridal gowns is wonderful, and Robin who helped me was so amazing. So kind and never at any time pushy. I went not expecting to find and love THE dress but after trying on a few gowns and loving them, I choose the first dress I tried on and ordered it that night.
