Used to be an awesome office, but has seriously gone downhill. Rescheduled my cleaning serval times, are more interested in pushing out of pocket add ons than adhering to a schedule. A regular cleaning took almost 2 hours??? That also includes the 20 minutes past my appointment time to be taken back. Why is my time not important? I was told to be there right at my appointment time, but then I sit there and wait for 20 minutes. When I scheduled the appointment for the 4th time I specifically asked to see Dr. Sanchez, but nope had to see the other dentist, that I don't like. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND FULL OF LIARS! I should've known this place was horrible from my first visit. My first visit I scheduled a regular cleaning on 1/6/24 and when I arrived they refused to do a regular cleaning since I was a new patient and wanted to do only x-rays and do an "inspection" to see what services I would need. The male Dr that saw me was extremely rude and condescending and tried telling me "if I don't get my wisdom teeth removed asap, it would cause my jaw to become dislocated in a few months" and then went on to tell me that since I was a new patient then I would need to do a deep cleaning but I would have to make another appointment for that. So I basically wasted my time with the first visit. I then scheduled a follow up for 1/18/25 and when I scheduled that appointment I asked if my insurance would cover the deep cleaning and I was told my insurance would cover it 100% and there would be no out of pocket payment required. I also requested to never have that male Dr again due to my experience with him. I then show up on 1/18/24 for my deep cleaning and while checking out I was told actually I owe $299 payment due now before I can leave even though they said they confirmed with my insurance that is was 100% covered and waited till after the service was done to tell me I own a payment. I let that go because I believed it to be an honest mistake. I continued to go back every 6 months for a regular cleaning which my insurance does cover 100%. Then in May of 2025 during a visit, they told me I owe an additional $254 form the visit back on 1/18/24 because of an "insurance adjustment". I asked why I was just now being notified of this almost a year and a half later and all I was told was "we tried to fight the insurance adjustment but we can only fight it as a dental office for 6 months after the claim was made so we were just waiting for you to come in for your next visit to tell you about the overdue payment". I made the payment of $254 but told them it was ridiculous they just sit on insurance adjustments and don't tell the patient until it's too late. I then get another bill in the mail in August 2025 saying I have an overdue payment of $76 but the bill did not list what it was for nor was it itemized. I had to call 5 times on 5 different days just to get in contact with someone to explain what this bill was for. When I finally got an answer, I was told the $76 was from the visit on 1/18/24. They sent me a bill from a visit almost 2 years later and when I told them I already made a payment of $254 so idk what they're talking about I was told "the billings department just forgot to add that to the $254" and they made a mistake. I then requested that they send me my billing ledger so I can see all the transactions that were made I want in writing that they made a mistake and forgot to add the $76 to the $254 payment. They sent me a billing ledger that showed I owed $76 but would not put in writing they made a mistake and then refused to answer any more of my questions. I had to send 7 different emails following up about what the bill was for in writing with no response. In my final email I mentioned if I don't receive answers I would be filing a claim with the better business bureau and the Nevada dental board and would inform these agencies they this dental practice sends bills to patients with no explanation and refused to answer any of my questions. After mentioning making a claim they magically responded mins later saying they would look into my account. After a few days they followed up and informed me they did an audit on my account and found that not only did I not owe $76 they actually owed me back $200 from and over payment. It's absolutely ridiculous when I originally asked about the new bill I was just given a generic answer without them actually looking into the issue and just brushing me off in hopes that I would just pay their fictitious bill. I find it very concerning that I had to mention making a claim to these agencies for them to actually do their due diligence and look at my account. So what this dental office does is send fake bills to patients under the guise of "insurance adjustments" in hopes they just pay them and if you ask any questions they just brush you off with a generic answer and refuse to answer any other questions. They will also send you fake billing ledgers to show you owe a payment when you actually don't owe anything. Needless to say I will never go back to this place and I would advise everyone to avoid them at all costs. They are scammers and liars. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. The staff were really nice (that's how they get you) but the dentist is a LIAR AND ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS $$$$! He told me I have 13 cavities meanwhile I go to the dentist every 6 months and tried a new dentist because I just moved here from Florida. I went and got a second opinion right after and the other dentist I saw was in SHOCK! There was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth!!!! Also, I am pregnant and made it very clear before my appointment I do want any x-rays at all and they kept trying to pressure me to get x-rays done. I did not give in though. After spending over an hour there, the dentist refused to give me a cleaning unless they were able to preform "probing" on my teeth to determine what kind of cleaning I need. After the hygienist right before that told me it's totally fine to skip the probing and she would give me a regular cleaning. I'm pregnant and if you've had probing done you know it HURTS! I'm not putting myself through that while I'm pregnant and it's not even necessary to begin with. The doctor even went on to say it's for "insurance purposes and it's how we all get paid". I told him if insurance is the issue I don't mind just paying out of pocket for a regular cleaning. And he came up with another excuse right after. Whitney Ranch Dental ROCKS! A year ago, before I even became a patient, the front desk staff jumped through hoops on my behalf dealing with my previous dental insurance (dreadful). Dr. Sanchez gently examined me and immediately referred me to a specialist for oral surgery. Her front team wrangled again with my horrible insurance to make sure they would help me cover the surgery expense. This all required effort and time. The surgery took place over 9 months, and the oral surgeon Dr. Sanchez referred me to, is amazing just like she is. Finally, this week, an exam, x rays, and a deep cleaning over two days was another A Game experience from start to finish. This is the worst dental practice I've ever been too. Sure the staff is nice, but they add extra charges for thing you don't need or didn't do. One visit in particular, I can't remember the exact date, I went in for a filling and they did the usual routine by numbing me in the gums with a needle. When they were finished with the procedure I couldn't see. Everything looked blurry and I could figure out why. I kept blinking my eyes trying to focus. I said I can't see and the staff looked concerned, but didn't say a word to me and acted as if nothing happened. It wasn't until I got to my car, realizing I couldn't see, that I looked in the mirror and noticed one of my eyes was completely turned in. No wonder I was seeing blurry and double. I think they hit the wrong area when they numbed me up and accidentally numbed my eye muscle or something?! Not sure because I'm not a doctor. Regardless it was a scary experience and I wish, looking back now, that I had said something at the time. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! I need up calling a family member to come get me and drive my car home. read more

When I moved here 15 years ago I had not been to the dentist in many years, I way always afraid of the dentist. My coworker assured me to give Whitney Ranch Dental a try and so I did. I explained to them my fear of dentists, they were very calming to me. I see Dr. Sanchez and Tyler for my cleaning both who are fabulous, along with the office staff. I have had fillings and crowns both done and without any issues and all my other dental service needs, I would never want to go anywhere else. They also do there very best to get you in, especially in the event of an emergency. Give them a try I guarantee you won't be disappointed. read more

I would not recommend this dentist at all. I feel they upsold me for a few fillings and pulled a few of my sons baby teeth. I had also not had insurance for a couple of years and was not able to get a regular cleaning and the office manager made it very clear that I needed extensive work and made me feel like I might as well lose all my teeth and start over with all new ones. Basically tried to sell me every service they offered and wasn't letting up . The dentist did reach out and apologize and asked what he could do to make it right but at that point it was too late as I felt they were all about the $$$. read more

Fraudulent & incompetent. I moved here from the Seattle area where I had the same dentist for 20 years - every 6 months. Within 3 months of moving here I went to Whitney Ranch dental. First off - they try to upsell you on everything! In addition to X-rays, they photographed every tooth and then proceeded to tell me that I had 2 new cavities and 6 fillings needed to be replaced. I was shocked. I was just at the dentist 6 months prior and ZERO mention of anything. I allowed them to fill the cavities and replace one filling. That was a HUGE mistake that resulted in nerve damage and paying $1500 to have a root canal. - I wasn't going back after that. 6 mo later, I decided to go to Galleria Dental and Dr. Fong said I had no cavities and NONE of my fillings needed replacement. Looking for a dentist in Henderson, I highly recommend Whitney Ranch Dental. Why is it so hard to find a good dentist in Henderson/Las Vegas? I'm not sure, but I am so glad that we found this office. We have been through three dentist and will look no further. I will say that I was slightly concerned when we pulled up, thinking we may have found another dud of a dentist. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff (what a relief)! Waiting Area: The waiting area is stocked with bottled water and coffee, which is just wonderful, but don't get too comfortable because this office sticks to their schedule and we have never had a wait of more than 10 minutes. Staff: Is just amazing! We took our one year old daughter, which in hindsight was a mistake but the office ladies took her and entertained her the entire time, which was not necessary and just so sweet. Both my husband and I have seen a few different hygienists at their office and have loved each of them. They are all easy to carry on a conversation with, make you feel comfortable and do a fantastic job! Dentists: We have seen all of the dentists at this location and they are knowledgeable, thorough and take time to address any concerns. Billing: No complaints! Equipment: They use the new X-Ray machines (the little gadget that you put in your mouth) and the X-Ray appears within seconds on the computer screen. I am not a huge fan of the device, but they are advanced with their equipment and it is a timesaver. And they accept HMO dentist plans. Woohoo! We recently switched to a HMO (not by choice) and have searched far and wide for a respectable office and dentist that would accept our plan. read more

I absolutely loved this dentist! My 2year old needed to come here to get a referral to a pediatric dental per the insurance and they are amazing! The staff is over the top the girls were super duper friendly and Dr Martinez is amazing! The office was squeaky clean and everything they offered was neat. The coffee station is wonderful, the treasure chest they offer to the kids is super cute, and the books were a nice touch to. I was sad to be referred out as I wish Dr Martinez could treat my baby girl they made her feel really comfortable and made the visit super fun! read more

Is there a way to give ZERO STARS??? Patient for 3 years. it started out well and went downhill fast. The whole family went for cleanings and always had extra cavities, fillings to be "replaced", etc... the x-rays were horrific and I ended up with sores under my tongue and in mouth. They were rude when I declined unnecessary x-rays... and the Dentist made a point, to leave his current patient just to tell me they were REQUIRED. I asked to have old bonding removed. Assured the dentist would be able to do this. He never did. By this time, I knew this would be our LAST visit. I should have gotten up out of the chair before opening my mouth. I was upsold to replace existing fillings. I was made to feel like a fool walking around with the metal still in my mouth. They were ready to fix them immediately. At $800+ I was hesitant. Nothing was deteriorating. It was completely esthetic with the dentist. Husband had same issue of old fillings. He had them replaced only to have them not fit in his mouth and subsequently changed his bite. Luckily, I got a second opinion and found out there was nothing WRONG with the fillings, and no replacements were needed. I am glad I found a good second opinion. Cleanings seem quick and not as thorough like past dentists. Seemed weird. (Almost felt like a way to get a set of x-ray and make the bigger dollars. $$$$) I asked for my records to be sent to new dentist and it took forever to get them to do so. Seemed Unethical. Finally, had to get my new dentist to make the request. This was the second time I had a problem with follow thru with front office. The front office is negative and unprofessional, they gossip and roll eyes at one another when a patient is at the front desk. read more

I loved this office, the staff is great, the Drs. are very nice and compassionate, it is the billing that is off. I have pointed out where I was overcharged, they admittedly have an over payment, but they will not give it to me!! I am apparently now blocked as my emails are sent back. I am going to a medical billing advocate to get my money. What a shame this will be their downfall but then greed always is. CHECK your payments and insurance payments very carefully. This could have all been taken care of if they had refunded the money as they said they would but it has been now 5 months. read more

So I have been doing an epic search for a dentist that took my insurance and did a search on yelp to look at reviews. To be honest this wasn't my first pick considering it only had one review at the time. So I made several appointments only for them all to be canceled in a day or two bc they don't take my insurance. Any-who I contacted this group and they told me right away they took it. Made me an appointment for in the morning. I have major issues with my teeth and the lady doctor was rly nice and took good care of me. I had three fillings today and so far it seems to me that he did a good job. She even gave me a second shot during the procedure to make sure I wasn't in pain. I rly enjoyed going to the dentist. Everyone from the front desk lady to the staff in the back to the wonderful dentist were very professional and wore smiles the whole time. The first time this office recommended a procedure that wasn't needed I wrote it off but going back a second time for a cleaning and because I didn't do their recommended "deep cleaning" and pay approx $500 out-of-pocket instead of just providing me with what I asked for - a regular teeth cleaning - approx $100 or less. The staff there told me that they would not give me just a regular cleaning and that I would have to take on the higher-priced deep cleaning and that no other dentist in town would give me just a regular cleaning if they knew that a deep cleaning would be beneficial. What a bunch of BS!! Since when does a dentist not provide a general cleaning and get to tell me what I want or need - they are there to provide a service - they let me walk out the door- completely frustrated and in my books they are a bunch of scammers and really don't have anyone's best interest at heart but their own pocket books. I've been a patient for 10 years. My doctor and other staff were great. However, recently I noticed a billing error that I over paid $300 and it took them 3 months for them to tell me that they refuse to correct the situation and took no responsibility for the issue. If you decide to go here make sure all your charges will be submitted to your insurance with the correct codes. Having 100% coverage isn't enough for this office. read more

I seldom write a review on Yelp, but I thought I would make an exception. I have been a patient of Dr. Sanchez for several years now. I have needed quite a bit of work done, and my experience has been 5 stars. I have a fear of dental work and they have helped me so much by the use of nitrous oxide gas! I can still drive myself to my appointments while using sedation. My appointments always run on time, the front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The Dental Hygenist, Maureen, is awesome. But the best part is the dentist herself. Dr. Sanchez is excellent and takes such great care of me. Even has called me at home to see how I am feeling. I probably will need more dental work in the near future, but I feel relieved and confident that I have found the right dental office and dentist for my care. Highly recommend them! read more
