Brought my daughter to get a pumpkin. This is my second time coming here and it's not a huge patch but it's enough. They have a huge selection of nice pumpkins. They are clean and look fresh. They have a variegated of sizes and colors. They have pumpkin painting station, 3 big slides for $15 per child - no time limit and in and outs allowed. (That's definitely a great deal!) October 27, 2021 first time going to the Whittier Pumpkin Patch yes they are part of the Whittier Christmas tree lot company. We were very impressed with the large selection of pumpkins they had the offer from the small ones from 3 to 5 dollars and medium to extra-large for $45. Of course we went with the medium which was about $17 which I was fine paying. The pumpkins look fresh clean healthy and ready to carve. Try to do my best not to wait till the last minute but I'm glad I waited this place always has a large variety in a selection definitely will be back next year. I love that the pumpkins are reasonable (we buy a few & make pumpkin Pies ) & it's walking distance from our condo.The kids love picking their own pumpkin & bouncing in the jumpers. It's also a nice perk that we live close by because the bracelets to play in the jumpers are good for the entire day. Went on a Friday morning with my two daughters and it was empty :) Definitely not as big as I thought it would be so crowding can be an issue is my guess on a weekend. They have little battery powered tractors, jumpers, few quarter rides (50 cents) and few other activities, and of course your pumpkins. I personally wish it was bigger but between the rides and jumpers spent about an hour here. I don't think I would have stayed if it was crowded because again it's not that big of an area. They definitely outgrew there roots. This place is way too small for the crowd it holds. It's about a quarter of a parking lot which would comfortably hold about 30 people and we came out on a Saturday late afternoon and it was about 80+ people attending. Good thing is it's free entrance but jumper rides are $15, pumpkin painting is $12 and to purchase a pumpkin will range $3-$16 depending on size. No food just chips, hotdog and candy. read more

Pros: clean and inviting. As you walk in they have a lady selling trinkets toys and candies. Once you walk in you see all pumpkins and they do have a lot of photo props up to take pics with ur kids. Cash only. They had one atm machine. They do sell drinks inside and have supermarket quarter operated rides for the kids. A little goat petting zoo. cons: honestly thought pumpkins were overpriced. We bought two small ones and they came out to six bucks each. So spent 12 bucks on two small pumpkins. Also the jumpers. They have 3 big jumpers for the kids. Which was why my kids were excited to come here. So they charge 15 bucks per kid to jump as long as you want I'm assuming. Wasn't really expecting that. read more

Bad spot. Lots of broken branches trees on display. We wanted a large tree. They unwrapped 2 for us they guessed would be good. Both had large broken branches on all sides. Not possible, especially for $200. They didn't want to find any for us that didn't have large holes. Addition to the above after owner's comment. -These are from your lot. -One of the trees you showed me HAD AN ENTIRE SIDE MISSING. The other had a giant hole on either side. Tell me, owner, why after showing us a tree with en entire side missing, that your staff even laughed at, would you not show me another? Of course I didn't ask them to pick the trees back up you showed us so I could take a picture to post a bad review. These pictures are a good example of your stock. We drove 30 minutes to your lot because you sell yourselves as a good, honest experience. The next lot I visited, where I bought a tree, could not believe that you would show only 2 trees then turn us away. Shame on you. read more

Not a lot of pumpkin patches are open but I'm so glad this one is. Every year they have this patch with a jumper for kids and of course pumpkins and props. It's my baby's first Halloween so I had to bring her. Even though they don't have to jumper this year due to Covid, they have people selling those light up balloons. And little quarter machine rides and a little go kart race track(very small) I recommend going to get out and buy a pumpkin to carve. Cool little family picture/pumpkin patch night. read more

I wanted to bring my one month old for some pumpkin patch photos during the fall and chose to come to the Whittier pumpkin patch. Most of the complaints I read on the reviews were about pricing or the not so good location. Since my newborn couldn't participate in any activities, my review will only be on the pumpkin patch walk thru itself. The location was on the corner of a stater brothers plaza. Though the lot size was not very big, it was nicely occupied with activities and nice photo op areas. I did not find the location to be ghetto at all. The workers were very nice and even helped us take photos while we were there. The lot was well organized and nicely decorated for visitors. Each pumpkin had numbers marked for pricing so you knew exactly how much each one cost. I came a little before noon on a Tuesday so there wasn't much of a crowd. However, I can definitely see this place getting more packed after hours and on weekends. I got some really cute photos with my newborn and I was very happy with the visit. So came back to this place again and was really pleased with our experience. Due to Covid, I knew it was going to be different but was hoping I would still feel safe/comfortable being there. To my surprise, The Honda random acts of helpfulness were there giving out free pumpkins! I've never seen them in the act (only on TV) so that was actually pretty cool lol. Once inside i was just enjoying the moment with my kids. I felt comfortable. All The staff were wearing mask and requiring the public to wear mask as well. Everybody there seemed to be complying and keeping their distance. They had hand sanitizer and for the tractor rides the staff handling them was using clorox wipes every time a kid got off. What a cute pumpkin patch! Truly family friendly and seemed busy when I drove by at night. Finally got a chance to visit in the morning during the week and there was a good flow of people and families taking pictures of their little ones. I can't wait to go back & hang out at night. We waited about 25 minutes to get in because they are taking proper precautions in only allowing a small capacity of people from entering. I really didn't mind at all, the other closest place to from my home was almost 1 hour away! The pumpkin patch acrivities is very well spaced out away and they have a big variety of pumpkins to choose from. Ben at the entrance was very attentive with keeping an eye out with the families making sure they were having fun safely and made small talk with us. That really makes any family feel welcome, they are all very nice. This is our 2nd year coming around and we look forward to (once pandemic is over) spending more time here bringing more family along. read more

We came here based on the great reviews. we wanted something local, something that was open during the week, inexpensive and fun for our kids. First off, this pumpkin patch is in the parking lot of stater bros. its small. its expensive. a $6 pumpkin at walmart is $40 here. ridiculous. we did the pony rides. my kid was hanging and about to fall off because the saddle was not on properly. the pony looked miserable, the man had to drag the pony because the pony did not want to do this. they had a petting zoo, $3 to get in, petting zoo food was $3 meh prices. the petting zoo was good here. if you want your kids to go in the jumper, its $14 ridiculous price. Im not sure if our family is spoiled or what but this patch sucked and i was embarrassed that i brought our parents. wasted their time. we will be going to tanaka instead. read more
