Honestly have been coming here for tires and never had any real problems, until i decided to get an alignment. Got the alignment done and honestly my car felt worse than when i went in. A week later i went to get two tires switched. while they were putting on the new tires the Lady that is at the counter sees me and tells me "That my car could use an alignment" after i told her that i got one last week here at the shop she had this look on her face and told me to just have a nice day. after that i decided to go to different place and get an alignment just for the heck of it and sure enough my car stated feeling better when driving. that being said no longer taking my business here. Was helped right away with great energy and eager to help. Came in to plug/patch an tire. American Tire Depot on Rosecrans Santa Fe Springs couldn't do the job nor did they WANT to do the job. American Tire Depot even told me "you drive this car hard huh? Looks like you drag race, you drag race this car" after they told me they won't fix it. what does it matter if I drag race my Sports car or not?!?!?!? has nothing to do with fixing. the answer is no I don't drag race the car nor do I race, I just drive 40 miles every day to work, plus the tires are about 1,000 miles old. Don't waste your time! Saw them online on Yelp reached out to them through Messenger and they responded back. I told him that the size of the tire I needed 2 kumhos. This is all in writing and he responded $240! I called them I confirm they say yes I show up now granted it's 20 miles from my house it's raining I need tires the gas alone 20 bucks I get there it's just a bunch of used tires and some off-priced off name brand tires that they tried to sell me called I think arroyo grande and I said no thank you I'm looking for the kumhos, that we talked about on the phone. WOMEN BEWARE!! UNETHICAL BUSINESS!! I had a flat and called AAA. The AAA tow-truck driver was supposed to take me to an AAA approved shop to repair my tire, and he insisted that I could get a better deal at this place. I decided to go with his recommended tire shop. BIG MISTAKE!! As soon as we got there, I was encircled by 4 male mechanics who wanted to shoo me away so that they could take care of the tire. Well, I'm not one to wait in a lobby. I went to see what they were doing and saw where the nail was (center of tire and NOT anywhere near the wall). A few mins later, they all encircled me again and tried to tell me that I needed a new tire, using scare tactics. I had just put new tires on my car 4 months prior! Plus, I knew that they were lying because the nail was NOT where they claimed it was because I went out to see where it was. They didn't realize that I had done that. Long story short, I called them on it and demanded that they treat me fairly and that I knew they were lying. One of them said he would patch the tire but wouldn't guarantee that the tire was safe. I said I knew it would be safe and watched him patch the tire. I paid and couldn't leave fast enough. These men wanted to take advantage of me and used different tactics to pull the whool over my eyes, but they didn't realize who they were messing with. I reported the incident to AAA and am now making YOU aware. Stay away!! read more

I found out the tires sold to me were from 2009. I should have known once they said "NO RECEIPT FOR USED TIRES". I get it now. No receipt, no trail of proof. They derserved 0 star in here I bought my 4 tires (used) last friday and after leaving thier shop I heard the back tire humming I took it back to them before they closed they fixed it and in the morning I checked all the tires I saw the front passenger side tire had a slice and it so scary that is I took it back again to them, they changed it to another one then today that tire that they replaced last saturday got deflated, I told my husband to take it to them, I called my brother who is a sheriff and told him what happened he said if something is wrong again he will be the one to go to whittier tire. The Lady I spoke to said she would have her boss review the pictures. When she got back to me she told me that she doesn't know how there machine did this and they are not responsible. WOW... I found this place on Offer Up and was not disappointed. They advertise great prices on great tires. I called ahead to verify they had what I needed before I headed over. They are located on Imperial near Lambert. I was greeted immediately by the manager Luna, when i did pulled in. I showed him what I wanted and his crew went right to work. They jacked up my SUV and soon after I had new tires for a great price. They also have a nice air conditioned waiting room with a tv and cold water for your use. Luna provided me with a business card and asked to send my friends. And so I will. read more

They sell tires that are outdated, one of the used tires I had in my set was from 2002!! Also... they advertise tires on OfferUp but when you get there they happened to have sold the set you inquired about and make you get some that are more expensive. I would not pay anything over $25 for a used tires that had been over-sprayed with WD-40 to look new. Place is really sketchy. If you really want to buy used tires from here, make sure you check the dates on the side wall, YouTube will show you how to decode the month and year. I found a set of almost new used tires on offer up being sold at this place. I took the hour Drive there and had them installed. When I went for alignment, the gentleman said one of the tires had some dry rot and recommended I bring it back to have it replaced. I called, the lady who answers (a little moody but fair) told me to come back. They checked it out and corrected the issue with no problem! I used to come here for years when it was Josh tires. I read the terrible reviews and thought it couldn't be that bad. They let me drive off with holes in inside and outside of the sidewalls. My dad has purchased tires for me here. He saw an ad on offerup and they mounted the tires on the wheel, threw it through the balancer and didn't balance it properly. He noticed that they just put weight on it and don't even spin it fully to see if it's true. They reassured him it was balanced. I drove it on the freeway and my steering wheel was shaking violently. I was only able to drive around 50mph, and even then it was still shaking side to side. I had an alignment done at Valley View Tires just to make sure it wasn't that. Drove on the freeway again, it was shaking. I went back and told them I need it balanced; They balanced it again. I didn't bother to watch just in case they didn't want people watching them work. Trusted that it was fixed, I drove it for two days on sidestreets. It was fine. The moment I drove it on the freeway, same thing. Except now it was pulling to one side. I went back again and told them that It was still unbalanced. They balanced it and said one of the tires was bad, so they switched it out. I drove on the freeway again, it was better.. but after awhile it was still shaking pretty bad. I went back again today. I told them that It was still shaking and I don't know why it keeps shaking like that, because my car has never shook like that before. I even apologized for bringing the car back so many times and making them re-do it. I asked the lady if it was common and she said it wasn't. So today, they replaced both of the front tires. I saw them balance it the way they did before when my dad made a comment and I brought it up to them. They reassured me it was at 0. I immediately left and called Valley View Tires to get all 4 balanced to make sure. Sure enough, none of them were true. Adrian at Valley View Tires even showed my tire having a huge lump in the tire and that it could not be balanced since the tire is defective. All 4 tires were not balanced well. I feel bad, but I've gone here 3 different days to do exactly the same thing, spending more money and time to get it fixed. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place for tires. Maybe for burn outs or specifically for people only drive on the streets only. read more

They tried to sell me 20 year old "new" tires, they were from 02,06,09 and 18 and loaded them them up in the back of my truck while I was paying- then j drive the way back home and unload them and realize the manufacturing dates and also cracking and chips in some. Who sells tires like that!? That's deadly because I could have had a major blow out on a freeway and I have a 5 year old daughter in the truck a lot so I'm super disappointed and disgusted! I drove all the way back and told them and they tried to sell me other tires for more money so I just got my money back but no one apologized, they just tried speaking in Spanish thinking I don't understand...stay away!!! So I got in contact with Whittier Tires (new and used) on OfferUp and was quoted an excellent price for 4 lightly used Michelin tires with installation and balancing included. They were not some typical tire shop that takes wheels off and quickly puts new ones on, not here. They took the time to properly put the wheels on, balancing and alignment plus right inflation of my tires as well! Solid job all the way around!
