However, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as sporting goods, they don't sale the same stuff you get at Academy to Dick's Sports, they sale outdoor mountainy type of items... climbing, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, trail walking, camping ... that type of stuff, both materials and the clothes. It is really nice inside. It doesn't look anything inside like the older exterior shows. The staff and I believe the owner are super nice. I came in today because they carry Kuhl brand clothing, I was surprised that they had more styles then REI did, and they had longer lengths. Walked out with some, very happy.

That said, the sheer size of the store usually keeps the crowds from feeling too overwhelming--unless you're at checkout. And while the prices can definitely be on the higher side, I somehow manage to walk out with something almost every time. In the store it felt okay so I proceeded with the non-refundable purchase. After skiing a few days in Utah, I visited a boot fitter there who made the discovery that these are one complete size off! I don't know how any boot fitter worth his salt could allow this to happen. The entire reason to get ski boots in the first place is to get a custom fit so one can improve their skiing. Now I've got to sell these online for a steep discount and eat the couple hundred buck difference. Thanks for nothing!

He checked everything on the bicycle and could not find anything it needed. I was impressed as he could have told me it needed different things to be done, and I would have fell for it.
