Services are not spectacular, and the attitude of the staff is even worse. The girls are borderline hostile, and it feels like one is intruding by being there. Not a great place to relax for a mani/pedi. The pedicurist was rude, rushed and hostile. I mentioned this to the manager and she could not have cared less. There was a sign on the door that said appointment only (I assume due to covid). I have called four times to make an appointment (giving over an hour before coming in) to only be told they can't take me. On my fourth deny, I called Maggie's up the block and they took me within 30 minutes of calling ahead, they are also a much smaller place. On my way walking past Wi Nail, I saw three estheticians outside smoking. I completely get breaks, but why couldn't someone take me? Done trying to go to this place. read more

Stay Clear Of This Business. This Place Did Everything But Relax Me. I Walked Into This Empty Establishment And Asked For A Simple French Pedicure. The Pedicure Was A Mess So I Asked Very Politely If Instead Of The French Pedicure Can I Just Do A Regular Pedicure With Regular Polish. The Owner Or Manager Of The Business Immediately Went Straight Into Telling Me That There Was No Refunds. After Making It Clear That I Never Mentioned A Refund, The Same Nail Tech Proceeded To Put More Polish On Top Of My Already Painted Toes. I Rate This Business A Big Fat Zero. The Nail Tech Proceeded To Beg For A Tip And Payment Before I Could Sit Down And Dry My Toes. As A Woman Of Color This Behavior Was Very Offensive And Disrespectful. read more

I almost don't want to leave a glowing review because this spot is my oasis and I want to keep it to myself. 3.5 star rating on Yelp shows how nuts this website is and how deeply unfair the customer service industry is. I come here 2-3 times a month. As a Jersey girl relocated to NYC, I've gotten my nails done a few thousand times in my life. Wi Nails has always given me 1.) the best gel manicure you can buy 2.) the most soothing experience. Everyone who works here is lovely. Manicures take a bit longer but that's because we're going for perfection here folks. Give over to the tranquil atmosphere and let peace wash over you, you'll end up appreciating the additional 15 minutes it takes. read more

Ada did a good job of removing my gel manicure from another salon, but she did a terrible job with my manicure. The gel nail polish is everywhere and the tips of my natural nails aren't even smooth. I do not recommend. One extra star given for care with gel removal. read more

Clean but nothing special - I felt a little bit like each finger/toe was being rushed through an assembly line of mani/pedi. Even the 10 minute massage felt rushed (How? I don't know. I know it was 10 minutes. They showed me the timer. But the speed at which the woman rubbed my feet was almost anxiety producing...ya know, for a massage, so it was still good.) They also only have Essie and OPI colors - no non-toxic options. I'd go back on a Monday (when my usual place is closed), but definitely won't make a point of it. read more

The good: looks clean, quite music, lots of nail polish colors to choose from. And now the bad: (1) one of the worst manicures I've ever had; and (2) the service was not pleasant. Some of the girls kept on talking in Chinese about their tips and clients. This is a great nail salon that was desperately needed in the neighborhood. Not only is it conveniently located, but the girls are all extremely sweet and do a lovely job every time. I go here for all my pedicures and gel manicures. They always treat me very respectfully and my nails always come out looking perfect. The salon is always clean and sanitary. I had a really great experience at this salon, however I paid $2 extra for the Essie Gloss Polish and it chipped by the next morning on three fingers. I ended up having to remove the polish from all fingers as it looked so bad. I wanted to love this place, but would not go back. read more

I showed up at 6:30 for a gel manicure (they closed at 7) and they told me I couldn't get my nails done because it would take 40 min and they closed in 30 min. This nail salon ALLOWS people to talk on their cell phone during their manicure and refuses to tell the customer to stop talking on the cell phone. In fact, they asked me to tell the woman to stop talking on the cell phone. I left mid pedicure. Paid and paid a generous tip to the pedicure salon staff person. Unfortunately, their lack of customer service cost them $1,200 because I used to go twice a month easily spending $100 per month. Don't patronize a salon that doesn't provide a relaxing environment to all customers. read more

Used to be my go to place BUT went for a gel mani and spa pedi and the new girl they gave me was AWFUL. Had no idea how to file or paint during the pedicure. Told her that I had gel on my nails and needed to soak and she couldn't understand a word I was saying. Then she proceeded to paint my toenails and it looked terrible. She then scraped the gel off my nails and I had to call over the manager. Thought we were back on track until she took over an hour and still didn't have a clue. I told the manager she needed to do my nails as having a trainee wasn't acceptable. Manager finished up only to realize that it wasn't the matching color to my pedicure. I am disgusted. For $70 I shouldn't receive sub par service. Took my loyalty card and threw it out. So many other places that will give you consistently good service. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL !!! I went in to get a wax and the women started talking about me and making faces - they started playing rock paper scissors as to who had to do it. I can't believe the lack of professionalism and rudeness. I will never step in there again I immediately walked out after the comment. This place is absolutely fantastic! I really searched around for a lovely salon to host 11 children for my daughter's birthday and after visiting multiple locations in the BOCOCA area I booked Wi and couldn't have been happier. The salon itself is bright, airy, and relaxing with an enormous array of options and colors. The staff was extremely kind, patient, and professional, certainly no easy task with that many children to deal with. Not only did they do an amazing job taking care of all the guests but they really went above and beyond by providing little treats for the girls and really going out of their way to make each one feel special. The manager, Estal was wonderful, and made planning everything a breeze. The prices were extremely affordable and as others mentioned, the staff really take their time. The party was super fun, a great success, and definitely the best salon I've been to in a very long time. Great job! read more
