During a leave of absence , I saw a different hairstylist (a level 2) stylist for a cut, and balayage. During the consult, the stylist seemed confident about being able to help me achieve what I wanted. Which was more than reasonable and should've been able to be achieved because frankly it was just like a caramel balayage, nothing crazy. I did not feel that my layers were adequately trimmed. They were not even and my hair felt rough ... my hair looked healthier before the haircut. The balayage technique was not actually even applied. The stylist performed a partial. I went in with level five hair and still came out with level five hair after being in foils for a couple of hours which never happens. I'm always able to get great results with lightning my hair. I left feeling extremely disappointed. When my husband came home, he automatically just said " oh, did you cancel your hair appointment? I thought you were going to the salon today?!" And I had to explain that I did, but he said it looks like nothing had been done. I did reach out a week later, a master stylist reached out to me to fix my hair. Ultimately in the end, I know that the stylist did all they could with what they had to work with to make it look decent. The "fix" was just as disappointing. I have literally spent my entire summer trying to get my hair to heal from this experience. And between the cut and color I spent a lot of my hard earned money to not enjoy the results or frankly the experience. This all happened a couple months ago back in June. I wasn't sure about writing a review, but after taking some time to think, I thought it would be best to let everyone know. Also, I'm not sure if they started using different hair color, but their toner washed out really quickly. Like after one wash. I've always enjoyed most of the stylists here, but if you're gonna spend the money here, really do your research on reviews and book accordingly.- I highly recommend Crystal! She's the best!

This is the worse hair experience I've had. I wanted to deep dark brunette color, and I already had medium/dark brown hair. The stylist asked me how I felt about a little red in my color and I said why not. It has been one week and ALL of the red dye and brown dye washed out of my hair. Each time I washed it with my expensive color care products more and more dye came out. The dye is all over my towels. Now I have brassy light brown hair. I'm devastated. I don't have endless money to fix this. It was $273. I called the salon and left a message. They never returned my call to offer to fix it. Bad, bad experience. It's located inside a boutique salon, which made the experience feel more personal. I arrived at 9:30 AM, and Lucy was incredibly kind and welcoming. I showed her an inspiration photo and explained that I wanted layers in the back and framing in the front. She listened carefully and immediately understood the look I was going for. She started with a hair wash, and the shampoo and conditioner felt amazing. The salon itself was super clean and well-kept, with plenty of chairs throughout. What I really loved was that Lucy brought me into her own private studio space,almost like a smaller room within the salon. There was extra seating as well, so I was able to bring my mom with me, which made the experience even nicer. Lucy was extremely positive, super talkative, and made the whole appointment feel comfortable and fun. My hair turned out looking so healthy and refreshed, and she also recommended several products to help keep my hair in great condition. Overall, I would absolutely recommend booking with Lucy. Lets dry it and really see, he did and I said "you gave me hot roots". He then said, ok I'll put a toner on you we'll leave it on about 5 minutes, he did and left be by the shampoo area for about 15 mins. After rinsing it out it was all the same color, and he said So anything else? did you want a cut too? UH YA! thats what I was scheduled for and that was my main concern, but I guess with the soccer game he forgot. He kept saying ok so just a trim? maybe a half inch off? My hair was way over grown and I was again trying to explain my concerns to him about it needing shape and style and a good cut so it doesn't just hang there. I am pretty sure he only cut and inch off because here I am 3 weeks later and in desperate need of a hair cut!! I will say he did a great job of blowdrying my hair because when I left my hair looked good, it was shiny and smooth.
