We went with a party of 6 on a Thurs night & were the only customers in the downstairs dining room. Our waiter, Brian as well as the restaurant manager were very pleasant & generous. We were served a complimentary attractive, tasty amuse-bouche & a nice cold glass of Prosecco. Our steaks were cooked to perfection & delicious with great sides served family-style. Brian served us flawlessly & with a great personality. We shared the chocolate soufflé which came out piping hot with a vanilla cream sauce but was not sweet enough for our taste. We were also served a small complimentary cordial of port wine which was a nice ending to a great meal. We will definitely return but only for special occasions as our total for 2 was $180. I took a group of 16 women there for restaurant week and they all LOVED IT. They were all planing on coming back. They gave us complimentary prosecco to start and a port to finish. The surf (shrimp) and turf (filet mignon) were great as were the mashed potatos. The beet appetizer was good. I took my son and daughter-in-law back. They love it as well. TERRIBLE, i went on date with my wife. I had an 8oz A5 wagyu and spent $450 only to wake up the next morning with food poisoning and spent all morning throwing up with terrible stomach pain. I called them to see if they could compensate for my terrible experience and they told me they couldn't do anything since i was the only customer they called them about getting sick. $450 is a lot of money only to end up with food poisoning. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given. Everything about this place is absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left was amazing. Our waiter Robert provided excellent customer service and entree recommendations. I ordered the Chilean sea bass per Robert's recommendation and it was the best meal I've ever had. There was so much flavor depth and texture. My husband ordered a New York strip with herb butter and the Mac and cheese and it was also incredible. The manager walked around to each table to check in on our experience and we thought that was a really lovely touch. It made us feel welcomed and that our business was appreciated. Sooo we just went there last night and got reservations for the private room for our friends bday. It started off great but then as time went on our waiter got more and more rude with us each interaction. Very condescending and basically just a d$&@! He didn't like us asking questions about the food- I'm sorry when you are spending $100s of dollars on food I should be able to ask questions and it wasn't even in depth, literally just questions about the steak and the portion sizes. At first we thought surely this guy is just joking but as the night went on it was apparent that he wasn't. Food was great, but took SOOOOOO LOOONG TO GET!!! Reservations were at 8, guy should have asked us immediately after giving menus if we are ready to order drinks and appetizers. No that wasn't the case. He would come in we would ask a question about something on the menu, he would give a snarky answer, and then be back 30 min later. Didn't even get our food until 10!!!!! We wanted to go out and have fun and leave by ten but we left the place at 11, shut it down actually, which wasn't what we even wanted to do but the guy took soooo long with each interaction. Steak was a little salty for the whole table, sides were great- corn, mushrooms. The lobster Mac and cheese was good but idk if it was $68 good. Their margarita was good too but at the bar I didn't like it much and then when I ordered at the table I loved it- different bartenders. I don't recommend coming here in a large group especially if your waiter is probably in his 40s with shaved sides and I believe a little pony(forgot his name) bc he will NOT be fun and get annoyed with you. I really would love to have given this gem a full 5 star rating. Our waiters were absolutely great, 6 of us enjoyed various steaks, pork chops, salads, and incredible cauliflower soup. The manager was attentive and seemed on top of his game. Sadly, during our main course a huge LOUD/Screaming crowd arrived for the private room just beside us. At this point we could no longer hear the person beside us. It absolutely ruined a fabulous meal. Steaks were tender and flavored perfectly, cream brûlée corn was rich and tasty, the potatoes were perfectly velvety and rich, even the mushrooms were exceptional. Our waiter even gave our birthday boy and amazing dessert with what is closest to a Roman candle. I recently had a disappointing experience at Wicked Butcher . The service was fine, the atmosphere was nice but the steak was honestly the worst I've ever had. I ordered the boneless dry aged ribeye and when it arrived I noticed a strange smell similar to dog food, I ignored this and began eating however the first bite was tough and full of gristle I actually had to spit out the first 2 bites. The manager Brian came over and recommended we have the non dry aged filet which I did and it tasted much better but after the first ribeye anything would have been better. I was not impressed with the appetizers selection but the flavor was good, the sides were good but not great, if the steak had been nice it would have been a good experience but when you go to a good steak house with this price point you expect more. Maybe I was just unlucky but I do not plan on going back, it didn't live up to the expectations I had for a quality dining experience. read more

Honestly will never go again. We went in march with another couple and the experience was terrible. The waiter was rude and hurried us through our ordering. My friend and I both ordered steak medium rare but they came out medium/medium well. We paid for truffle butter to go on top of our steaks and that came out about 10minutes after our steaks did. We were not given steak knives and instead used the silverware that came with the table. My wife also with her dish did not get her sauce with her steak she ordered as well. Honestly, one of the most amazing restaurants that I have ever been to me and my boyfriend decided to celebrate my birthday here and since the beginning customer service was absolutely wonderful. We were given complementary champagne, and then the chef also sent us something out since it had been our first time, which is so wonderful then we move onto the appetizers we ordered the Burrata Allá Panna I absolutely loved it now our main course. I had ordered the beef Wellington and my boyfriend ordered the ribeye and we both loved our main courses and I definitely recommend getting the corn crème brûlée. If you aren't sure about what table share to order. Since we had came for my birthday, they brought us out such a beautiful birthday cake that honestly made my birthday be so wonderful. I appreciate it customer service they has always made sure we were okay and making sure we have what we needed. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were there till almost about 10:30, but it did not feel like such a long dinner because it was like course after course after course so there was no dull moment. The first time I had dinner at this establishment our waiter was terribly rude, repeatedly spoke over me, and scoffed when I asked for my proper drink as he had brought the wrong one. Our waiter hardly visited our table or even checked in on us, I had to ask other staff for help/questions because our waiter was MIA. He was rude, offered no suggestions, and made us feel horrible. A Dallas-esque restaurant in Fort Worth is a great idea- however, in Dallas you actually get service that matches the food. What is the point of asking if the dinner for something special if you are just going to completely disregard the situation? I didn't know I ordered my steak with a side of disreputable wait staff. Looking forward to the dining room being open as they are currently serving in the lobby that will usually serve as breakfast location and bar area. The hotel looks great BTW. Menu is currently a bit odd for dinner IMO ...a few apps (the deviled eggs are top 3 in Fort Worth ) charcuterie board was ample...great warm pita. A few sandwiches on the dinner menu..chicken sandwich was huge but was just fried chicken and bun. Steak entrees were high dollar which I expected but there was no choice of filet size etc. we opted for steak frites, 6oz filet perfectly done, fries were excellent. Wine list is very good, extensive and reasonable. No fish, pork, veal on the menu which I find odd. Staff attentive, easy to park right now on the street. read more

I have become much of a regular at The Sinclair, due to a project. I regularly have breakfast at WB and always enjoy it. This week, the FOH team decided to call off and the manager was having to wait tables, seat guests etc. She did a great job of keeping her composure and a smile on her face. Help finally arrived I think in the form of another manager. Note to whoever does schedules, never good to do a 'close / open' with the team. You're setting yourself up for failure in many ways. Well, the presentation was awesome. Unfortunately I had to learn not to trust the daytime bartender when it comes to timing, promises to perform, or advance notice of declared food allergens. And my meal was served incomplete. The 3 pieces, literally 1 slice of carrot, a tomato and porcini were eaten before I had to leave. They were wonderful. I sure the homeless person who got the rest of it enjoyed it as well. Their cuts are all tender and cooked perfectly, the steak butter options are to die for, and the price isn't insane for the quality. The only reason I give this place four stars is the vibe of the restaurant itself. It's confusing because it's for all intents and purposes a steakhouse, but the restaurant is way too dark and can be loud. Honestly it kind of looks more like a bar than a high end restaurant just in the way that it's laid out. That said, the food speaks for itself. I will be back! read more

First of all the place is beautiful inside and out and right across from the hotel we were staying at. We made a reservation and they were ready for us 20 minutes before - so no wait time. Fairly disappointed. Walk-in was great, front reception staff was very welcoming & kind. Once we went to the main dining, service went to sub-par. Our waiter didn't go over menu, and immediately asks if we are in a hurry for the George Straight concert that was happening down the road. We replied we were not & that we were there to try something new for my bday. He then took our drink order and said he would take our entire dinner order together, appetizer - dessert, when he returned. After our drinks were delivered & dinner was ordered, we did not see him at our table again until check delivery. He did not ask if we wanted a second round of drinks, never asked about food (steak was not cooked right), our waters were never refilled. To finish the night off, my husband sees a roach as we go up the stairs to leave. We told the manager as we left and he did go to clean it up. We will not return. read more
