I have so much to say as this is one of the best both in tasting and service. Linda was amazing and the leadership was very welcoming. The evening was cool and the perfect environment.

Service was impeccable from start to finish. My husband ordered the Ghost of Potosi, and I started with the Pimm's Spritz--such a refreshing, well-balanced cocktail to kick off the evening. They also served us with complimentary herb scones and rose tea, which were such a lovely touch. Both were absolutely delicious and set the tone for the meal. Every dish we tried was outstanding. We began with the smoked pork belly, which had a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a subtle kick of spice. For our mains, the beef Wellington was perfection--tender, flavorful beef wrapped in beautifully flaky pastry. The lamb long bone tandoori was expertly seasoned and cooked just right. The accompanying potatoes were a highlight as well--crispy on the outside with a soft, hash brown-like center. We were already full by the end of our meal, so we took the sticky toffee pudding with rum caramel to go--and it was absolutely worth enjoying later. Rich, decadent, and truly heavenly. The ambiance is elegant and refined, making it a wonderful spot for a special night out. A memorable dining experience all around.

It was my first time coming here, and the atmosphere was charming and upscale. I finally got to try the Beef Wellington. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious! The pastry was perfectly flaky and wrapped around the beef beautifully. I also tried the bread with butter, which I thought was interesting; it had a curry-like flavor. I'd definitely come back to check out some of the other menu items.

    Kale and Apple Salad

I fear I did not dine at The Chumley House. I fear I experienced a cinematic event with a fork. First of all, the kale and apple salad arrived on a plate so cold it had the emotional distance of a Victorian boarding school. Stunning. Refreshing. Crisp enough to make me feel like my internal organs had been power-washed. I briefly forgave kale for everything it's ever done. The quail special then descended upon the table like it had just completed a hero's journey. Smoky, tender, deeply flavorful. If this quail had a memoir, I would read it. Then the sea bass special showed up and said, "Oh, you thought we were being subtle tonight?" Absolutely not. Flavor bomb. Layers. Depth. Personality. This fish had main-character energy. The beef Wellington was less of a dish and more of a royal decree. The pastry shattered dramatically. The beef was perfect. I stared at it in silence for a full five seconds like I had just witnessed a solar eclipse. If I could legally adopt it, I would. Now listen carefully because this is where lives are changed: You MUST get the ice box dessert. It tastes like someone condensed joy, nostalgia, and a polite Southern grandmother into a single slice. And the beignets with vanilla sauce?? These were not desserts. These were soft, powdered sugar-covered declarations of love. That vanilla sauce should be bottled, insured, and kept under national protection. Meanwhile, the people watching here deserves its own award category. You've got anniversary couples, mysterious business meetings, someone definitely on a first date overselling their personality, and at least one table that looked like they just bought a ranch at auction. I was emotionally invested in everyone. The ambiance is what I would describe as "cowboy chic meets secret society supper club." Dim lighting, warm tones, a buzz of conversation, and just enough drama in the air to make you feel like something important is happening -- even if that important thing is you ordering a second dessert. Final verdict: I came for dinner. I left with a new personality, a mild emotional dependency on pastry, and the overwhelming urge to tell strangers about this meal. I will be back. Possibly in a hat. Possibly with reinforceme

We enjoyed this dinner so much. The only thing left for me to take a photo of was that almost empty glass of wine. Such a great experience.

Chimney House is such a gem in Fort Worth. The space is super cute with a darker, cozy vibe that can feel romantic, but we also see plenty of families dining there comfortably too -- it's a really nice balance. We are obsessed with the chicken schnitzel -- perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Beef Wellington is another standout and absolutely worth ordering. They also start you with a warm tea and a little bread cone with whipped butter, which is honestly one of my favorite little details and such a unique touch. For appetizers, the dip with chips is amazing (we always get it), and they have a great wine selection to pair with dinner. Service has always been exceptional. Both managers consistently take wonderful care of us, and you can really feel the hospitality. We usually go on Sundays when they open at 4:30pm, and valet parking right next door makes everything easy and convenient. Definitely one of our go-to places when we're in Fort Worth.

We enjoyed this place so much, we went back. We went specifically to try the beef Wellington which was as amazing. Once again, the environment and service were amazing. I noticed that one staff member had his facial piercings in and I appreciate that the restaurant allows him to express himself. Hamid was super knowledgeable about the menu and helpful.

All the food was really tasty. It had a nice vibe inside and overall was a good experience. The pork belly was my favorite thing. The Short rib was really good but not my favorite overall. The server was very kind, but we did have to as multiple times to turn down the volume because my Dad and I are both pretty hard of hearing as it is.

The service was top tier and the vibe was elevated yet relaxed. The food was very well seasoned with the lamb and butter chicken pot pie being the standouts but I didn't at all care for the honey truffle gnudi. Would come back to try out so more stuff.

We had a special birthday dinner date and had a wonderful experience. Greeted by a friendly hostess and led to a more private booth near the bar. Mood lighting 101 and it added to the sophisticated vibes. We tried multiple courses and fell in live with the salmon starter and scallops. Extremely tasty with amazing sides, it was a comforting and exotic ride for my palate. Our cocktails well made and refreshing. The hit of the night was the amazing lamb! Fabulous flavor and presentation from the seasoning of the lamb and the sweet carrots, with just the right amount of spice. The blue crab pot pie was beautifully presented but a bit salty for our taste. Pasta is made in house and on my list next time. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. We were so full and didn't have room for dessert. Manager was kind and friendly with patrons. Definitely a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone birthday!

Beef Wellington and The Regal Potato

Chumley House's near perfect five star rating is well deserved. The restaurant is dimly lit and cozy which is fitting to the European steakhouse concept. We sat on the patio which is shaded and set off from the busy street by planters and greenery. Those who enjoy the details and presentation will have a lot to appreciate. Ft Worth restaurants aren't known for tiny cups of rose tea and beautiful pastry crust, which makes Chumley House even more special.

Great food, great ambiance, great service. Highly recommend the beef Wellington, mafaldine pasta, the regal potatoes, steak was cooked perfectly, saag paneer and the quail appetizer! I wish we could have tried more! We got the lamb and that was great too but found the rest stood out more. The stroganoff had great flavor but I wished there was more pasta. Nothing we had here was bad!

    Trudy C.

Omgosh, everything about this place was perfection! The fact that you get to start off with a warm tea and little bits of heaven is a telling sign that you are about to have an enjoyable dinner experience. Atmosphere and service was perfection and every drink and meal arrived beautifully. Everything tasted as good as it looked. I cant believe im just now finding this place. We came here for a friends birthday, but ill be going back a lot more often!

Chumley House is a new British steakhouse in the museum district. It's excellent! I've been here a couple of times and it's always great. The food is interesting, who'd thought a British steakhouse would be a good fit in FTX. Their service is impeccable, CarrieAnn us my favorite. The dining room is beautiful, but it is a bit small, so be sure to make a reservation. They also have a patio, for those nice Texas Spring days. I definitely recommend!

The ambiance and overall aesthetic are incredible, casual yet modern, with a classy upscale feel. From the moment you sit down, they set the tone by bringing out a complimentary glass of champagne, which is such a nice touch. They also bring fresh popovers (made fresh upon request), and they're always a great start to the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the hamachi crudo and oysters. The hamachi never disappoints, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious. For our main course, we typically go with the dry-aged ribeye and a wedge salad. The ribeye is easily one of my favorite steaks in DFW, consistently cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. While the food is always excellent, the service is what truly sets Wicked Butcher apart. The staff is consistently attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making the experience feel special. To top off the evening, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my fiancé's birthday, and it was fantastic. One of the most impressive things about Wicked Butcher is that the pricing feels very fair for the level of quality, service, and overall experience. It delivers a high-end steakhouse experience without feeling outrageously expensive. Highly recommend.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. The fried mushrooms were meh for me, and the salad was ok. That said, the bread that comes with the meal is excellent, and the creamed spinach was very good. I think they could step up their ranch game. The steak, though, absolutely stole the show. We ordered the Cattlemen's Porterhouse. It is a very large steak and easily enough for two people. You really just need to order an extra salad and maybe one or two sides. Ours was a little undercooked, but we did not send it back. We ate it and were still very, very happy with it. We also had the onion ring appetizer, which was excellent. They are onion rings, so don't go in expecting some world-changing event, but they were very good. Sweet onions, cooked well, and served with barbecue sauce and ranch. Do yourself a favor and skip the barbecue sauce. Get double ranch. Back to the steak: it was easily one of the top five best steaks I have ever had. I travel extensively for work, eat out often, and have been fortunate to visit some of the nicest steakhouses in the country. Maybe this was a one-time fluke, but gosh darn it, that steak was amazing. It is cooked over a wood-fired grill and has an incredible smoky char. The flaky salt they put on top after grilling just sets it off. It was phenomenally well seasoned. I highly recommend Cattlemen's. We will absolutely be back again -- just maybe not ordering the fried mushrooms next time. One tip: if there is a long wait, check OpenTable.
