Filet Mignon Steak - No Bacon
    Meghan R.

Was a little worried that this might not be the best because it's in such a touristy area, but we were happy overall. Started off with a crab cake and the corn chowder. BF liked the crab cake because it was a bit different/unique compared to the "standard" although I was little bummed there was only 1 in the order. I would say the corn "chowder" was more like "soup" because it wasn't creamy which is the what I usually expect for "chowder," but I really liked it! I should have gotten a bowl instead of a cup. We both really enjoyed our steaks (filet for me and 6666 ribeye for him). Sides of loaded baked potatoes were standard but solid. We also had 4 different cocktails between us and were happy with them all. Overall a good experience and really didn't feel overly touristy or kitschy.

I recently got to check out Cattlemen's in the Stockyard. I love how they have added an open air space onto the restaurant. It is an absolutely perfect place to grab appetizer and a drink with friends. You can also grab drinks from the open window bar without entering the restaurant. They have a stage and large screen tvs. The bartenders were friendly as well.

The food and ambience at Cattleman's Fort Worth were on point. They have a beautiful outdoor area where you can dine and also listen to live music. Our steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. We would definitely return if we are ever back in Fort Worth.

I wasn't expecting the restaurant to reach out in regard to my review but Rudy did message me and wanted to talk about our experience. A time was set and I called twice in 2 days, left a voice mail for a return call and even texted him. No response . Why reach out and then ignore the customer that was not pleased with his business?? It just makes for a more negative response.

Taylor Sheridan, writer/producer/director/actor known for being a creator of Yellowstone, Landman, and numerous other shows, and his business partners took over ownership earlier this year. This establishment underwent a multi-million dollar renovation adding a beautiful outdoor patio and private members-only dining club. Blah, blah, blah... so how is the food? We ended up here for our company Christmas dinner. We made a reservation and arrived timely but still had to wait a while to be seated for our party of 9. When they did finally seat us, it was in the beautiful patio so that was nice. It's a spectacular space with a huge tv screen, fire pit area, and comfy seating. Our server was very welcoming and made our meal enjoyable. We enjoyed drinks from the bar. They were served nice and strong. I liked my malt julep which had Glenfiddich 14 year Reserve, fresh mint, and simple syrup. Appetizers included spinach artichoke dip - nothing special, fried calamari - very good, crab cake - just ok, and bacon wrapped shrimp - delicious. Complimentary bread was also served and they were still warm and yummy. For my entree, I chose the beef short ribs. I know, I know but if there's short ribs on the menu I can't pass it up. It was indeed delicious and served on a bed of mashed butternut squash and sautéed mushrooms with chimichurri sauce. The others ordered the filet and sirloin steaks and everyone enjoyed them. We still had room for dessert so we ordered the bread pudding and carrot cake. Bread pudding was just ok but the carrot cake, suggested by our server, was phenomenal. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the ambiance made our Christmas dinner special.

It was cold and we were hungry. Happened here by chance, not knowing the history or connection to the Fort Worth history or that it would appear in so many current streaming shows. Food was great, our choices would not pair on a formal tasting menu, but steak tartar is a classic sends a message, caviar and onion rings aren't next to each other on too many menus and were unique in a way that suggested we try them, and chili, we were in Texas on a cold day, it was pretty much required. Did not disappoint. Hopefully we will return to see live music and dine outside in the future.

Great steakhouse with great service. If you are in Fort Worth you have to check this place out at the Stockyards. I had the prime ribeye n bourbon whiskey and carrot cake n plain coffee for dessert.

Made a reservation about a month out for dinner before a concert. We arrived 15 min early and was seated right away. Table was in front of the steak cooking area so it was nice touch as far as atmosphere. We had Ericka L as our server and she was great! She came to check on us the appropriate amount of times without being ignored or hovered over. Lemon drop martini was excellent so I ordered two. Me and my husband shared the Tbone, loaded baked potato, fried mushrooms and it came with rolls and cornbread. It was all AMAZING. I swear I think they par cooked the potatoes in seasoned broth and then grilled cause it was so flavorful. The steak was excellent and I literally cut my part with the butter knife. We aren't close but if we ever come to the area we will def be back.

My husband and I ate here when we were visiting friends in the area. The atmosphere was fantastic as there was a live band playing the night we were there and we were seated in a spot right by the outdoor area. The service was also great - very knowledgeable and attentive. We had some adult beverages at our table that all met the mark and I highly recommend the onion rings for an appetizer - a big hit for our table. Being from Nebraska, we have high expectations for our steak. While it was well cooked, it was quite tough and just fell a little flat.

This is a very nice steakhouse at the Fort Worth stockyard. Almost the best steak I've had in a while. The filet mignon I ordered didn't come with any bells and whistles, it was just cooked to perfection. The staff was were super friendly and helpful. I really digged the olden ranch style of the interior. Would recommend to anyone.

Stopped by while visiting with family and loved it! Amazing food, friendly service, and a very clean interior with outdoor seating available. But the mac and cheese was not our favorite.

Had a great time at Cattlemen's. This place, well, a Texas steakhouse. Lots of seating, a great size bar and the place seen on "Landman" SERVICE: Outstanding! We had a large group (20 of us) and some of us came early - but no place at the bar for us, so they found us space to get drinks while we waited for our reservation time. The servers were super nice and attentive. FOOD: The steaks were tender and seasoned perfectly! (We had the filet). We had a pre-fixed menu because of the size of our group so not sure if the items are the same as the normal menu. But everything looked tasty!! The drinks were great too. If you haven't tried the place, you should while you're in Fort Worth. I'll be coming back to try a different steak.

Went with some friends for a nicer lunch. Good food, good service. Steaks were seasoned a little heavily. Didn't like that the butter was melted that they brought for the potatoes.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor.
