***4.5 stars*** Yummy shaved ice with large portions and generous toppings. Perfect for a hot summer day in Dallas. Kids were big fans. A little messy, but that's okay. Limited seating inside for our big group (4 families with 2 kids each). Great for a post-KBBQ treat.
Fast and friendly service with delicious bing su. There is nice and clean design, themed of wicked snow. Pricing is fair. Good electrical outlets and comfortable chairs.
solid 4 stars! We were just around the corner getting some korean noodles, and wanted to get something sweet... and with it being a hot day, this place was perfect. What i really like about the snow dessert is that its really fluffy... its not like shaved ice (think hawaiian style) but its like shaved milk which is very light and fluffy texture. We ended up getting the mango and strawberry bowl in a regular size, which was like 14 bucks or so. Normally the mango/strawberry comes with regular milk snow, but i asked if they could throw some matcha powder on top, hence the green snow you see in the picture. This definitely hit the spot, it was so good. And it was perfect to share between two people. They also have a lot of other flavors as well. I think for the snow base, it only comes with the following flavors: Regular milk, Matcha, Chocolate and injeolmi. As for the toppings, i think you need to stick with the predefined menu list... i don't think they are able to custom build a specific snow dish... Plenty of seating inside, and the interior decor is like a harry potter theme.
We came here for dessert with a large group on a Sunday afternoon after lunch, and I have to say--I was pleasantly surprised! I'm not from Dallas, and since I visited in late October, I honestly thought "Wicked Snow" was some kind of Halloween-themed pop-up. Turns out, it's always got that spooky vibe going, which makes for a fun and unique atmosphere. The place was clean and not crowded at all, which was nice considering it was a post-church Sunday. We ordered two large bowls: Wicked Half & Half (strawberry and mango) Wicked Green (matcha and red bean) Both were delicious. The texture is what really stood out--it's not your typical shaved ice but more like fluffy, creamy layers of condensed milk. The flavors were bold and balanced, and the portions were massive. Definitely shareable! (I dare anyone to eat a large by yourself.) Service was just okay. The staff member wasn't rude, but didn't seem particularly happy to be there either. Not a dealbreaker, just not memorable. The only real downside? The price. Those large bowls are close to $25 each after tax and tip, which feels steep for dessert. Also, I didn't experience this myself, but a heads-up--there are a handful of reviews mentioning the place closes earlier than the posted hours, so maybe don't plan your visit too close to closing time. Overall, Wicked Snow impressed me. Great flavors, fun vibe, and a unique twist on shaved ice--just be prepared to pay a premium for it. You may wanna pay for dinner and have your friend pick up the dessert tab here. :)
Our favorite place for shaved ice! Portions are huge. Ice is delicate and creamy. Our favorite is the Wicked Gold that has soybean powder, mochi, and red bean. A small can feed 3 comfortably. Only complaint is this place is always busy (for a reason!)
Tried Wicked Snow in Carrollton and ordered the regular size Wicked Gold. The shaved ice was very fine and milky, not overly sweet, and paired well with the red bean, mochi, nuts, and condensed milk. I liked that it felt more balanced and nutty rather than sugary, with good texture throughout. The portion was generous, and definitely enough for 3 people. It is nice that they provide small cups so friends can easily split one dessert.
This is a lovely shop for desserts and drinks after the savory foods in the Carrollton area. Each time I'm here, I try a new drink and leave impressed. During my first encounter in the winter, I was pleasantly warmed with the fragrant Korean Citron tea. Sweet, sour, well rounded Yuzu with hints of floral notes that leave you feeling warm and refreshed. Most recently, I got a chance to try the grapefruit tea and shared the mango shaved ice with friends. This was literally the BEST texture of shaved ice I've ever had. Smooth, finely blended and for lack of a better word, magic. The flavors of mango and condensed milk worked harmoniously with the texture to create perfection. Seating can be a bit tight depending on peak times but expected given how the quality of the desserts! There are small tables as well as a community long table. Visuals are put on display to make the selection experience seamless when ordering. Excellent service from the waiters!
Of course the ice cream and mangos are so yummy and you get a lot of ice cream! However its pretty pricey and not sure the value is as great. Service is good but nothing special. Will definitely continue to come back unless someone finally gets true Mango Shaved Ice again.
Wow, the shaved ice is so amazing, the smoothest and tastiest shaved ice I've ever had, it's even better than the ones in Hawaii, this place will save you a trip to the Hawaiian islands! Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly! It's the best place to get something sweet after having a meal in the area! We order the Wicked Milk which had a lot of flavor and red beans, the red beans were on the bottom of the shaved ice too, and the Wicked Half & Half which has mangoes and strawberry (this one really didn't have that much flavor at all, I just taste the fruits and milk ice, not sweet at all), so if you like red beans, I would definitely order the Wicked Milk! It was a pretty busy with all the tables taken, thank goodness we had one!
Such a cozy spot with different seatings! Kind of sad our toast we got came burnt... and they still served it.
I been wanting to take my kids to try snow for the first time and what a great first experience for them. We originally wanted to take it home and they packed it really well in an insulated bag with ice but we ended up eating it in store. We got the regular mango strawberry which came out to be $17, which is on the higher end for dessert. A regular was just enough for my husband and I with our 3 toddlers though. It was so good aside from the mangos not being sweet but the snow was perfect. Not too sweet but super flavorful. It wasn't packed so there was plenty of seating and it was spacious inside. Wish the actual customer service was better but still would give it a 5 star for the dessert itself.
The ice here is incredibly soft, almost like a creamy ice cream that melts in your mouth. I'd say it's one of the creamiest bingsus I've tried so far. My group of three shared the regular size, opting for a half-and-half combination of strawberry and mango since they were craving fruit. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer, mainly due to the condensed milk, but I was expecting that. At $16 for a regular, it's definitely on the pricier side, but I'd be interested in trying their milk flavor or matcha next time. It was a bit chilly inside and having the ice didn't help. I would recommend bringing a jacket if you tend to get cold easily.
I've been craving Korean shaved ice for so so long, and finally had my craving satisfied here at wicked snow. They also offer croiffles, toast, coffees, and teas. Order at the counter, grab a table, and then wait for your buzzer to buzz to pick up your order from the front. There is plenty of seating inside, with individual restrooms in the back. I got the wicked gold, which is the shaved ice with multigrain powder, red bean, rice cake, and almond. I personally love a classic, non-fruit shaved ice, so this was the perfect simple combo (and not too sweet lol). The serving size for the regular size is more than enough to share with 2-3 people. I'm already planning my next trip back to try some of the other shaved ice options.
The employees were very quick to assist and the desserts came out in a timely manner. I had the following desserts: Cinnamon Toast, Wicked Mango, Wicked Green, and Croffle. To be very honest, I typically do not like bingsu, but wicked snow changed my mind! I recommend everything I got except for the cinnamon toast as it is just regular toast with mochi. The bingsu is very good! I love that it's not too sweet and so soft. The croffle was a new experience for me and just the right amount of sweetness! read more

I'm a huge fan of bingsu and I think Wicked Snow had the best flavor. We usually get the wicked gold with the injeolmi powder, which is awesome, but sometimes get the wicked green (matcha) shaved ice. They could do with adding a bit more match on and within the wicked green since it can be a bit bare some times, but still quite good. My only complaint is that they really are overpriced for the produce you get. read more
I've been here a few times for the bingsu and most recently tried the croifle. The bingsu is a super light and airy dessert, large enough for 3 to 4 people to share. I prefer the fruity bingsu, but they have chocolate and other flavors as well. The croifle, served with fruit à la mode, was yummy although it looked like something I could try at home (which I probably will). How can you go wrong with a croissant? This is a sweet place to grab dessert after stuffing your belly at any of the restaurants in the plaza. The restaurant had some tables with chairs and long benches, so it is good for groups. read more
Bingsoo was pretty good here (I ordered the "wicked gold") - not many toppings but it's super soft and melts in your mouth. The prices are a little expensive in my opinion. Overall, this place is a decent spot to get your bingsoo fix. read more

Amazing Korean bingsoo with berry jam, frozen berries & cheesecake chunks. The ice is perfectly flaky and soft like bingsoo should be. The berry jam provides just the perfect sweetness with no artificial taste to it. The combination of frozen berries & cheesecake is delicious but so extremely cold (the cheesecake was obviously fresh out of the fridge too) so just be careful to eat slowly! read more

Cute little cafe, the interior is clean and modern. I learnt from the nice lady at the counter that while most of their shaved ice offerings have milk flavored snow as the base, coffee and chocolate bingsus have the flavors infused into the snow as well. So I decided to give the chocolate bingsu a try. We also ordered a toast. It was made to order, had a salted mochi kind of filling and served with a scoop of ice cream and roasted soy bean powder. I enjoyed it. Well, now I HAVE to compare them to snow city on the next block to see where they stand. The texture of snow is very different in both these places. At wicked snow the texture is more airy while at snow city it is more dense. I kind of like the airy texture more than dense. The reason for three stars is the price. A regular sized snow costs $10 here and I can get certain flavors for $7 at snow city, huge difference! With such high prices I doubt I will be back for their snow. Would like to come back and try their taiyaki though. read more

A lively and hip cafe that you can't go wrong with if you're craving some Korean shaved iced dessert (bingsu). It was tremendously busy and loud on a Saturday right after lunch time which is expected. It was also in the 90s which explains the business. Plenty of seats if you come at an off hour. They have plenty of bingsu options from sweet to fruity. And a regular size is plenty big enough to share between 2 to 3 people. Refreshing bingsu with nicely shaven ice and wasn't drowning in condensed milk. The croffle was a surprise hit for me. Came out hot and dense without the messiness of croissant flakes. A great pair with your cold bingsu although you do still get vanilla ice cream on top of your croffle. The most disappointing part of the iced americano. It was so bitter it was almost undrinkable. I wouldn't say coffee drinks are one of their strengths. But of course, you come here for the bingsu and not the coffee. read more
Light, fluffy desserts even lighter than the shaved ice places I've been to. K-pop playing in the background so it's fun to stop in and get a treat. We tried both the mango and green tea matcha. The iced Americano was terrible but I'm used to Costa Rican coffee so that perhaps, is not a fair comparison. The matcha came out first and my party of 4 dug in immediately. Two layers of creamy dessert, topped with red bean. It was my favorite because it was so interesting. Not too sweet so we didn't feel guilty about our diet. The mango did not look like the cubed example we saw in the window and it had mango puree also in the two layer combo so you could get yummy deliciousness in every bite. The mango was more thinly slice and covered the dessert but I still felt like there should have been more mango - but perhaps I'm a little greedy. Either way, I would come in again! read more

Hands down the best bingsu place I have ever been to. The snow is super soft and has the right amount of sweetness. I love how they have half and half for those for those who can't decide between mango or strawberries. The store itself can get a little crowded at times but definitely worth it! read more

Got a gold snow bing su and thought it was pretty good but wished there could've been a bit more powder on the shaved ice because it was so much ice and not enough flavor for each bite after getting around the outside. The rice cakes were really big and a bit slimy compared to the smaller ones you normally see but it wasn't bad and resembles the rice cakes just without the powder since the powder is already on the shaved ice it self. I would come again however I felt the little powder and toppings is a bit not worth the high price. read more
This is a great and cute place! We just stopped by to explore this on our way to karaoke, and I picked up a citrus ade. It's a great place to come and have a drink or get one to go. I would love to come back and try some more things in their menu. The location is also very beautiful and has a great vibe. read more

Hands down the BEST place for an XLG sweet treat. My little one accidentally dropped hers on the way back to the table and the staff immediately made her fresh toppings and helped clean up. They are simply amazing and the treats are delicious! read more
Came here after dinner since it was nearby. Ordered the Wicked Gold Bingsu (regular size $10) and was excited for it because I had a really good soybean bingsu in Korea. The Wicked Gold Bingsu is almond flavored bingsu topped with red bean paste, almonds, mochi and condensed milk. The portion was good and would recommend sharing with at least three people. The red bean and soybean flavors worked well together. However, it needed a lot more almond powder because after the first layer, it was just powdered snow before you hit the red bean paste in the middle. If there was more soybean powder, this would have been perfect. Always appreciate how light bingsu feels compared to other desserts. read more

Personally, I thought this dessert was on the pricey side. I think the total for two orders came out to just under $40. Maybe I'm just not a snow ice fan after all. I wanted to try something different in place of good old fashioned ice cream. The ice is very soft and the portions are huge. I would recommend sharing one order with a friend. They should really consider offering a smaller size option on their menu. We ordered a milk flavor with strawberries topping and a chocolate flavor one to enjoy. Their offering of flavor options didn't seem like a lot. The service was ok, they weren't very helpful to first timers. I'm not sure I'll be back again. read more

Definitely a great place to visit as it starts to warm up. Very well designed space with plenty of seating. The staff were quick and attentive and we had our order placed right away. The mixed berry snow I orders was a large. I shared this with three people and we all felt very content. It was fresh and just divine! The creaminess of each bite with small cheesecake bites was perfect. The smoothie was creamy and tastes very fresh. The cookie was large and Thad the right amount of chew. I was craving injeolmi bingsoo so my girlfriend suggested that we try Wicked Snow, as she had seen some of her friends get the bingsoo here. The interior is decorated like a pretty typical cafe, with wood flooring and tables, and a solid black wall. The service was pretty fast for the bingsoo but it also wasn't very crowded when we went. The wicked gold injeolmi bingsoo was okay. The rice cakes were soft and chewy which was great, and the red bean topping on the top was delicious also. I just wished there was more of the bean powder like the picture the business owner put up. Our bingsoo just had a light sprinkling of the powder that's supposed to be one of the main parts of the dessert. The ice was at least very soft, milky, and had a good level of sweetness to it. The price level is okay, and you get a decent amount of bingsoo for the price so bring some friends and share. read more

I found the perfect bingsu place! The texture and taste is on point! Every bite had perfect portion of light, smooth, and milky flavorful taste. Other bingsu place I've tried, the snow/shaved iced is not mixed smoothly and can taste only "iced" and not with condensed milk. Definitely will be coming back! read more

Tried Wicked Snow's Mango Bingsoo and wow it was so good. The mango tasted so fresh and sweet (probably depends on the season) and there is also mango sauce/puree in between the layers of shaved ice as well. We split this smaller size bingsoo between 3 people after dinner and were plenty full after so you could probably split between a few more. Overall, a very nice and light dessert option. They also have lots of other flavors which was cool. read more

The cafe is so cute, I love the lights and everything about the venue. The food itself is very pretty, tastes delicious, and inexpensive for the portion sizes. My bf and I shared a regular sized bingsu and even the regular size was a little large for us both to finish. Also the macaron's were HUGE and delicious :)! Service was great, definitely plan on going back!! read more
Was craving something sweet after eating some KBBQ earlier, and decided to come check out this place. Oh boy am I glad we did!! This place is nice and clean, and had prompt service. But most importantly, the snow ice desserts are awesome!! We ordered the wicked green bingsu which was the matcha flavored snow ice. It had the perfect ratio of chewy rice cake, red bean, and super soft and lightly sweet snow ice. The warm nuts on top added a nice crunchy texture and smokey flavor to it as well. My wife and I have tried a bunch of snow ice places in LA, but this is now our favorite!! Sooooooo good and can't wait to go back and try out more flavors. And heck, it's healthy since it's just mainly ice right? read more

Bingsu is my all time favorite dessert and this place definitely fulfilled my craving. They have a wide selection of options and flavors, so I, of course, had to go back and try another flavor. I can't wait to explore more flavors. Wicked Snow's strength is their flavorful toppings, but where they lack is the foundation and actual shaved snow. While the top is absolutely flavorsome, the other parts only contain bland, flavorless shaved snow. I have seen other bingsu places incorporate their toppings and whatnot within and throughout the shaved snow rather than just the top, so if Wicked Snow did the same, they would definitely have 5 stars from me. But as for now, this is the only aspect that they're lacking. read more
I give this place 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up. This place was under construction for the longest time; well, the sign was up wayy long better its opening. FOOD// I've only have one mango snow and latte so far; so, it's not going to be a power review. I'm going to give a breakdown review for mango snow... the ice is finely shaved, but it gives kind of dry-feeling than wet-feeling. When I tasted the ice alone, it was same shave ice, but it does taste little more thicker than wet-texture. I really like the ratio of mango and mango sauce drizzle to its shaved ice, which means that there are enough mango given (btw, did I mention that the mangos are cut large?) for ice. I'm not going to say how mango taste because it is not the restaurants fault for anything, lol, but it was a perfect mango (haha). I need to go back for injulmi, matcha, and chococlate... ATMOSPHERE// It is very low-key, tbh, right now, but I think it can compete with other shaved ice places for its taste and price, which makes it more worth. That being said, right now, there are enough seats for small or smaller side of medium groups, but definitely not the best hangout spot for medium or large groups. SERVICE// I think it was good. We got the mango bingsu and it was so good! We paid about 10 for the regular size, which did seem like a bit much for the size. The taste of it was perfect. The ice melts smoothly and has mango, mango syrup, and condensed milk I think drizzled throughout. The cashier was nice, too! When we went, we were the only ones there. I would definitely recommend checking them out to cool down on these hot texas days! read more

Wicked Snow has super soft and fluffy shaved ice. The ice is flavored and slightly sweet so it goes really well with the condensed milk and fruit. The large is huge and can easily be split between a big group. read more

A solid spot for dessert for any occasion whether it's after dinner or in the middle of the day. We ordered 2 larges to split between 6ish people which was plenty. I definitely preferred the fruit bingsu over the black sesame just because it was more refreshing after a hot summer day. I did like how there was more black sesame in the rest of the ice beneath the initial layer! We came after dinner on a Friday night and all the tables were full so it might be hard to get seating if you're in a larger group. read more
